although the food was good. the service was lacking severely. to start off we had empty glasses of water and iced tea, after about 10minutesof not seeing our waiter my tea was filled up with water, and they didnt offer to change it for me. the waiter couldn't answer simple menu questions when he was around. i asked him how he liked the burgers.... he stated "i would definitely get the steak" not sure if this was a ticket increase point of sale or what, but it wasn't what i asked. so after we finished out meal, and waited another 15minutesfor our check. i asked someone for it. this man saw my credit card in the table and asked me if he could just take it. obviously no! i haven't even seen the check. i am thinking are you kidding me???? at this point that man stated he was the asst mgr. wow! at this point if waiting another 5minutesfor the check, i finally got up and asked to speak to the overall manager. we spoke about the concerns with our service and he said he was sorry.... i still don't have my check...... he said he would take care of it and make it right. at this point all we want to do is go.....finally got the bill, gave him my cc, went back to my table and waited another 5minutesbefore the manager brought my cc back to me. this manager comped 2.25 for my tea....wow! then he apologized again, and all we still want to do is leave.... then he says that he is sorry and was bringing us desserts on the house. so a waiter comes up with one plate with a piece if cake on it..... uggghhhh we want to leave. we didnt have the cake, to include the fact that it would have been inappropriate to eat the one slice with my dinner mate as we were not on a date!!!!! it was like i was in some crazy parallel universe. i will be following up with the owner. unbelievable.

waited a hour and 15minutesand never was seated, spoke to the manager about why people were seated before us and was told because they have a bigger party.the problem was the party waited only 10minutesto be seated.

the steaks were delicious cooked to perfection. the only complaint i have was the rude waiter. i can't recall his name but...i didn't like his tone of voice with us and it took him an extremely long time to even refill our glasses. we ordered two mixed drinks towards the end of our visit and it took him more than 30minutesto get them to us. he was very different with the...couple on the table next to us. my husband and i are both hispanic and we were amazed at how this waiters attitude changed when he was serving them. it was my husbands' birthday and i requested a cupcake for him and the waiter completely forgot about it.
we will go back to the restaurant because the steaks are phenomenal but i will make sure to never get this waiter again.

we just got back from dinner. i must say the food is great but the service was the worst. we ordered two more margaritas that never came , ordered an extra baked potato that never came, ordered extra salad dressing that took about 8minutesto get to us. the waiters are very friendly but nothing gets done. we asked for the check and it took about 20 minutes. i hope next time we go, the service is back up to par!

100% better. kicking, screaming and crying i was dragged back to corralito's for an early dinner. my previous experience here was terrible and it was hard to have an open mind. but, i must say, they have improved 100% and this makes me very happy. the hostess was efficient and quick to seat us. the server was attentive and knew the menu inside out and it was nice to be in a place where you can have an actual conversation without having to yell. the portions are still somewhat small and the tosadas were greasy but overall i was very pleased.

automatic 15% gratuity for 3???. waited 20minutesto be aknowledged. waited 15minutesfor a server to take our drink order. waited 20 mintues for a server to take our order. food was mediocre at best and then waited 20minutesfor our bill to come. and 15% gratuiy had already been added to our check. i inquired about it, we were a party of 3, and were told that it is their policy. (????) i demanded it be taken off and for the first time in my life, proceded to leave no tip.

dear corralitos' owner(s). i opened an account at urbanspoon just so i could make this one comment.

i am saddened to see your business slip from your grasp....

on my initial visit, during your inaugural week, we had a great overall experience. the food and service were up to par as well as the atmosphere. i recommended your restaurant to everyone.

about a month after your doors opened, i noticed a drastic difference in the caliber of service and quality of food and it was not for the better...

my last experience at corralitos was catastrophic...

i walk in and the hostess seats my party.
our "server" arrived to the table after 15 minutes, only after i requested her.
after we finally get our drinks we order our appetizers.
once the appetizers arrive, the short ribs are charred and hard.
my steak was overcooked and they brought my wife a different cut of meat then she requested and then argued with me telling me it was a filet...and while all this is going on there are 4 hosts doing nothing!!!!!!!! guess who is sitting behind me for 30minutesat a table hanging out with his friends???? the "chef"......we left with a very bitter taste in our mouths, not so much from the food but from the quality of service.

if this continues, i can tell you with certainty your business will not survive.

i honestly hope you can dedicate a little more time to your restaurant. it would be a shame for such a great concept to vanish.

i was impressed by the restaurant but it all ended after waiting 20minutesfor a greeting and that set the tone for the rest of the evening. very poor service and food ok. will not return

terrible customer service - do not go!!. the experience at this restaurant was probably the worst customer service experience of my life going to all levels of restaurants.

if you do not want to read this long review, i will summarized it for you; avoid all this trouble, do not go to this place, there are places in el paso with better quality of food, customer service and pricing.


everything got started when i asked to be seated in a booth rather than a table. when i asked, the place had several booths available. we were asked to wait for the booth to be cleaned. after a while the hostess came back and said that we could not be seated because the "kitchen was busy" so i thought, the restaurant most have different kitchens one for tables and one for booths!! then i asked to speak to the manager, he came out and asked him if we could wait at the booth, since they had several available. he said no, the kitchen was very busy, and then i thought, the kitchen must use the booths to do food preparation!! and then i thought again to my self, maybe the table's kitchen must not be that busy, since we had been seated in a table. after already 30minutesi asked the manager again if we could be seated at the booth, he replied that the kitchen was busy. i told him that if we could not be seated we were going to leave the place, he said to go ahead, then i asked him if he knew what would the owner of the restaurant would think about him letting not only my business, my guest business and all the persons that we could recommend for the place, he said that he did not care.

bright business manager they got! i hope the owner reads this review.
