corralito steak house

it's not difficult to not like this place! i dined during happy hour before the 5:00 pm crowd, and found plenty of parking! the arrachera, tampiqueña style, is agreatsignature dish! medium well is recommended! the chips & salsa awesome. the corralito sampler is a meal in itself. the chicken tenders and the chocolate brownie are a favorite for kids! staff is prompt, courteous, and attentive. the menu is pricy; however, the cuisine & ambiance sets this place apart! well worth it, highly recommended!

best steak in years. had the arrachera (spelling?) steak which was an inside skirt steak, absolutely outstanding. came with a red enchilada, some beans and guacamole. overall everything wasgreatand service was excellent. highly recommend.

we just got back from dinner. i must say the food isgreatbut the service was the worst. we ordered two more margaritas that never came , ordered an extra baked potato that never came, ordered extra salad dressing that took about 8 minutes to get to us. the waiters are very friendly but nothing gets done. we asked for the check and it took about 20 minutes. i hope next time we go, the service is back up to par!

worst steak in town. elpaso is a city ofgreatsteakhouses, and this one should not even be on the list. t-bone was grisely and had chunks of fat. manager tried to play it off. the waiter was embarrased and appologetic, while the young manager didn't seem to give a dam about my complaint. didn't even offer some kind of restitution.

on my initial visit, during your inaugural week, we had agreatoverall experience. the food and service were up to par as well as the atmosphere. i recommended your restaurant to everyone.

about a month after your doors opened, i noticed a drastic difference in the caliber of service and quality of food and it was not for the better...

my last experience at corralitos was catastrophic...

i walk in and the hostess seats my party.
our "server" arrived to the table after 15 minutes, only after i requested her.
after we finally get our drinks we order our appetizers.
once the appetizers arrive, the short ribs are charred and hard.
my steak was overcooked and they brought my wife a different cut of meat then she requested and then argued with me telling me it was a filet...and while all this is going on there are 4 hosts doing nothing!!!!!!!! guess who is sitting behind me for 30 minutes at a table hanging out with his friends???? the "chef"......we left with a very bitter taste in our mouths, not so much from the food but from the quality of service.

if this continues, i can tell you with certainty your business will not survive.

i honestly hope you can dedicate a little more time to your restaurant. it would be a shame for such agreatconcept to vanish.

epic. after reading reviews i was very hesitant. but, i could not have been more impressed. i am from a big city and expectgreatfood and service, and i found that and more here. i was super impressed and really pleased with the price, food and service.greatjob.

simply delicious. our new favorite place. beef was by far the best ive had in west ep steakhouses. courtesy beef soup was a nice touch. beautiful decoration. chips and salsas where delicious. courteous staff andgreatserver. bar area is nice too.

great restaurant. i waited until this new restaurant had been in operation for awhile to get a better feel for the place. i took my family in and the steaks were some of the best i've had. i recommend this restaurant highly. the remodel has been done very well and leaves agreatenvironment for dining. again the steaks and food were great.

one thing i could do without is the tvs hanging on the wall. i think this cheapens the dining experience. it reminded me of a waiting room. also, i would landscape the area outside the large picture window in the dining room. the diners have a view a empty sand lot. they could dress this up a bit by installing desert landscaping. all in all it was a good experience and i would recommend this restaurant.

amazing. had i read the previous reviews i might have never gone. glad i didn't though. it was the best experience for our 3rd anniversary. we started with 3 delicious salsa's, tostadas, and 3 empanadas. the empanadas had a shredded beef that was very well seasoned and the crust was deliciously fried. my husband ordered the black bass, and due to it not being in season they informed us that it would be 2 small fish instead of 1 big fish. the taste was amazing and it was served with rice and a salad. the salad was kind of standard iceburg lettuce, tomatoes and red onion, nothing spectacular but it went well with the meal. i ordered the tornado cut steak and it came with a baked potato and a delicious soup. the steak was cooked very well, the baked potato had just the right amount of butter, and my son gobbled up the soup. we took our young 9 month old son, and the staff was very accomodating. we also had a chocolate cake and a coffe and it was great. the servers were excelent, the manager made his rounds, all in all it was agreatexperience and i'm looking forward to returning very soon.

pleasantly surprised. a juarez resident, withgreattaste in mexican food, said that this was her new favorite restaurant in el paso. i had to try it. this old restaurant was recently renovated and, now, it has a very nice waiting area and bar. the decor is elegantly casual. the service was attentive, but a bit slow for a saturday. we had the steak tacos and salad. the salad was good, not great, and the steak tacos were very good. this a not quite angreatsteak house, but it is a fine addition to the el paso food scene, and well worth the trip.
