although the food was good. the service was lacking severely. to start off we had empty glasses of water and iced tea, after about 10 minutes of not seeing our waiter my tea was filled up with water, and they didnt offer to change it for me. the waiter couldn't answer simple menu questions when he was around. i asked him how he liked the burgers.... he stated "i would definitely get the steak" not sure if this was a ticket increase point of sale or what, but it wasn't what i asked. so after we finished out meal, and waited another 15 minutes for our check. i asked someone for it. this man saw my credit card in the table and asked me if he could just take it. obviously no! i haven't even seen the check. i am thinking are you kidding me???? at this point that man stated he was the asst mgr. wow! at this point if waiting another 5 minutes for the check, i finally got up and asked to speak to the overall manager. we spoke about the concerns with our service and he said he was sorry.... i still don't have my check...... he said he would take care of it and make it right. at this point all we want to do is go.....finally got the bill, gave him my cc, went back to my table and waited another 5 minutes before the manager brought my cc back to me. this manager comped 2.25 for my tea....wow! then he apologized again, and all we still want to do is leave.... then he says that he is sorry and was bringing us desserts on the house. so a waiter comes up with one plate with a piece if cake on it..... uggghhhh we want to leave. we didnt have the cake, to include the fact that it would have been inappropriate to eat the one slice with my dinner mate as we were not on a date!!!!! it was like i was in some crazy parallel universe. i will be following up with the owner. unbelievable.
