waiting for it to close. spent the worst 2 hours of my life in this restaurant. terrible service, terrible food, the only saving grace of this place was the decor. save your money and your valuable time this restaurant is worse than maria chuchena

dear corralitos' owner(s). i opened an account at urbanspoon just so i could make this one comment.

i am saddened to see your business slip from your grasp....

on my initial visit, during your inaugural week, we had a great overall experience. the food and service were up to par as well as the atmosphere. i recommended your restaurant to everyone.

about a month after your doors opened, i noticed a drastic difference in the caliber of service and quality of food and it was not for the better...

my last experience at corralitos was catastrophic...

i walk in and the hostess seats my party.
our "server" arrived to the table after 15 minutes, only after i requested her.
after we finally get our drinks we order our appetizers.
once the appetizers arrive, the short ribs are charred and hard.
my steak was overcooked and they brought my wife a different cut of meat then she requested and then argued with me telling me it was a filet...and while all this is going on there are 4 hosts doing nothing!!!!!!!! guess who is sitting behind me for 30 minutes at a table hanging out with his friends???? the "chef"......we left with a very bitter taste in our mouths, not so much from the food but from the quality of service.

if this continues, i can tell you with certainty your business will not survive.

i honestly hope you can dedicate a little more time to your restaurant. it would be a shame for such a great concept to vanish.

have eaten there several times-all good. last two times, however, we could not have had worse service. too bad, but typical.

epic. after reading reviews i was very hesitant. but, i could not have been more impressed. i am from a big city and expect great food and service, and i found that and more here. i was super impressed and really pleased with the price, food and service. great job.

simply delicious. our new favorite place. beef was by far the best ive had in west ep steakhouses. courtesy beef soup was a nice touch. beautiful decoration. chips and salsas where delicious. courteous staff and great server. bar area is nice too.

i was impressed by the restaurant but it all ended after waiting 20 minutes for a greeting and that set the tone for the rest of the evening. very poor service and food ok. will not return

terrible. group of seven all had a bad experience, the waitress seemed to be training another and we had to ask the trainee to attend to us because the other was just terrible. we got our meal delivered before appetizers and my plat ewas cold and the cheese on the top wasnt even melted. the manager came by and asked how we were doing, we said " awful" he smiled and said enjoy! are you kidding me!

no qc. i ate lunch at corralitos recently hoping to learn first hand if this place is as good or as bad as reviewers rate it. the decor is without question very nice and even impressive. service was good, almost too persistent.
my meal, steak tacos was as bad as i think i've ever had. while the presentation was very good, the meat was full of gristle and so sinewy that i can only conclude that there is zero quality control carried out on their ingredients. if someone is cutting this meat on site, they are blind and clueless and should be fired.
i suggest the owners and management sample their dishes regularly.

great restaurant. i waited until this new restaurant had been in operation for awhile to get a better feel for the place. i took my family in and the steaks were some of the best i've had. i recommend this restaurant highly. the remodel has been done very well and leaves a great environment for dining. again the steaks and food were great.

one thing i could do without is the tvs hanging on the wall. i think this cheapens the dining experience. it reminded me of a waiting room. also, i would landscape the area outside the large picture window in the dining room. the diners have a view a empty sand lot. they could dress this up a bit by installing desert landscaping. all in all it was a good experience and i would recommend this restaurant.

amazing. had i read the previous reviews i might have never gone. glad i didn't though. it was the best experience for our 3rd anniversary. we started with 3 delicious salsa's, tostadas, and 3 empanadas. the empanadas had a shredded beef that was very well seasoned and the crust was deliciously fried. my husband ordered the black bass, and due to it not being in season they informed us that it would be 2 small fish instead of 1 big fish. the taste was amazing and it was served with rice and a salad. the salad was kind of standard iceburg lettuce, tomatoes and red onion, nothing spectacular but it went well with the meal. i ordered the tornado cut steak and it came with a baked potato and a delicious soup. the steak was cooked very well, the baked potato had just the right amount of butter, and my son gobbled up the soup. we took our young 9 month old son, and the staff was very accomodating. we also had a chocolate cake and a coffe and it was great. the servers were excelent, the manager made his rounds, all in all it was a great experience and i'm looking forward to returning very soon.

sucks. don't waste your time, money or gas to visit this place. they don't care about you and they aren't ashamed to let you know that either. any fast food restaurant is a better choice that this place. at least you should spend your money where they appreciate your business. hopefully this place will close down soon and save innocent people from getting ripped off.

terrible customer service - do not go!!. the experience at this restaurant was probably the worst customer service experience of my life going to all levels of restaurants.

if you do not want to read this long review, i will summarized it for you; avoid all this trouble, do not go to this place, there are places in el paso with better quality of food, customer service and pricing.


everything got started when i asked to be seated in a booth rather than a table. when i asked, the place had several booths available. we were asked to wait for the booth to be cleaned. after a while the hostess came back and said that we could not be seated because the "kitchen was busy" so i thought, the restaurant most have different kitchens one for tables and one for booths!! then i asked to speak to the manager, he came out and asked him if we could wait at the booth, since they had several available. he said no, the kitchen was very busy, and then i thought, the kitchen must use the booths to do food preparation!! and then i thought again to my self, maybe the table's kitchen must not be that busy, since we had been seated in a table. after already 30 minutes i asked the manager again if we could be seated at the booth, he replied that the kitchen was busy. i told him that if we could not be seated we were going to leave the place, he said to go ahead, then i asked him if he knew what would the owner of the restaurant would think about him letting not only my business, my guest business and all the persons that we could recommend for the place, he said that he did not care.

bright business manager they got! i hope the owner reads this review.

steakeater. don't waste your time. for $130 you will do better at pelican's, dane's, or even billy crews. drink wrong, service poor, steak good, baked potato dry, food served in wrong order, waitress missing in action at end of meal, too pushy at start. table so wobbly drinks spilled and staff saw us trying to level but did not help. will close in six months. will not go back. ate there 9-30-2011.

dinner. bone-in rib-eye and filet were great. server was a little over zealous and margarita was weak. overall though it was great. i would go back.

first of all, you better speak spanish to dine here. the restaurant will definitely alienate english speaking patrons, just like maria chuchena did and now they are closed.
