in short: coffeealchemyis not just another cafe. their artisanal approach to coffee will reveal itself when you take that first sip. outstanding coffee in a retro space that is a real throwback to the ’80s. i loved the light that streams through the space of an afternoon. my tip is to try a pour-over coffee, specifically an ethiopian single origin, if available. the cafe only serves coffee and there’s no food available.

coffeealchemyis located is an industrial neighbourhood and you could hear the noise from the construction work nearby. the cold drip i had was not really great either. disappointing.

coffeealchemyis purely about the coffee, nothing else but high quality. although busy, this place keeps its cool. it's relaxed vibe and intense aroma is filled throughout the place. no need to over compensate with food etc. 100% this place only serves up the best coffee in sydney

***mandatory response to cee who left a negative review of coffeealchemyon 13 august 2014* um ... are you joking? thealchemystaff are not only the most friendly and helpful cafe staff i have ever encountered, they are almost exclusively asian. the business is owned and run by two phillipino women! please don't go around throwing accusations of racism at people or businesses. you, sir, are ridiculous.alchemyrocks.

that first sip makes everything worthwhile. coffeealchemycertainly does serve one of the best coffee in town.

it's easy to mess up black coffee.alchemyis amazing. it's never off the beat. easily the best coffee in sydney by a long shot. the staff are lovely too.

overall, there is just so little and far too much to say about alchemy. it’s just a wonderful coffee house, but so far from being a place to relax,alchemyis only about the coffee. if you want to experience the bean at it’s best, come here. if you want a place to sit, grab a bite and take in the world, don’t.
