cobalt, the restaurant

excellent atmosphere/location. great place for a date. just get there early. food was verygoodtoo though the portions tend to leave something to be desired. drinks were verygoodand has a great wine selection. service the last time was terrible and she was very easily confused and only had two tables to care for. with any luck you won't get her and your experience will be great. food was verygoodthough and will be returning i'm sure.

if only the service were better.... we went to cobalt after seeing all the great reviews. we got there and were seated pretty quickly. our server was quick to get our drink order, and we were thinking it'd be a great meal (great view, great ambiance). then things went downhill. it took a while to get our drinks. they were good, but took a while. when our server finally took our food order, we'd been there a while. we never got bread; our server disappeared, and we literally had to flag her down for anything; and we even had to ask other servers for items. the food was pretty good. i had the ribs, though they were cold by the time we got them (45 minutes after ordering), the flavor was great, and they fell off the bone. the shrimp my sister had was average; the pizza my brother in law had wasgood- but very rich; and the oyster poboy my husband had was pretty good. we thought about ordering dessert, but since we'd already been there two hours, we figured we'd cut our loses, and just go on and go. we didn't feel like waiting another hour for dessert. this place has potential, but just needs to work on service.

may 2011. tuna avacado stack was agoodappetizer. i had the blackened redfish over wildrice w/ tabasco hollandaise- fish was near perfect. food and drinks were good.
a note of constructive encouragement. we came in on a monday and had to wait for over an hour on a table and the place was literally half empty. management should work on ensuring the place is properly staffed to handle influx of people. especially when there are 40,000 extra people visiting for a music festival in town.

love this place. this restaurant never disappoints me. i can always be assured that the waiter and food will be great! my family loves the firecracker shrimp! we've taken many of our friends here for agoodtime.

disappointing meal. 5 adults and 2 children in party. best part of meal was the tuna salad and kid's grilled cheese. the shrimp had very little flavor nor did the crab. ordered 5 desserts, only 4 came. the 5th one came when the other 4 had finished. coffee with dessert was warm at best. cristina was a verygoodwaitress.

i was not impressed with cobalt! we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for a table. it would have been longer had we not asked for our group to be separated. they are not setup for multiple large groups. i took over an hour to get our food. our waitress was very kind and on top of drink refills and very apologetic about the wait on our food. she put the kids food in first which is always a great sign of agoodwaitress! our food was not good. i ordered steak and it was dry and not cooked to order. i wouldn’t come here again.

great food. been here three times. twice for supper and once for lunch. best shrimp poboy and burger around. at supper i always get some type of grilled fish. reallygoodcrab bisque also.

delicious food, beautiful views, and friendly staff. the pecan crusted catfish with succotash is excellent! reasonably priced forgoodsize portions.

went for lunch, no wait. very clean restaurant and friendly staff. food was above average.

i had a hamburger with cheese and bacon. patty was thick and cooked to medium as i requested. bun was a potato bun and was toasted. they didn't go skimpy on the bacon either. verygoodburger. fries were also well done.

i have been numerous times and love the view and the food has beengoodin the past but it had been a while since we had warren there. we went on may 31st and the hostess seated us quickly. service was fantastic and the food was delicious! we had grouper, shrimp and grits, steak and the fried oysters and shrimp. all were verygoodportions and the presentation of the food was excellent. we will return for another visit! bon appetite!

great vibe, perfect view of the water and boats andgoodfood! love stopping here on a boat day for a drink and especially love the appetizers. it is the perfect spot for a glass of wine or cocktail and to chill with the ones you love most! recently visited for lunch and enjoyed a delicious ceasar salad with grilled shrimp!

this place has great food, and i've always had reallygoodservice. the view is outstanding, but you'll probably have to wait for it because this place is quite busy. they have great happy hour specials. my biggest complaint is that it is really loud when you eat inside.

i liked it.goodservice nice views. tasted fresh not frozen. i'd go back. pretty reasonable for what ya get. nice outside area and bars. if you get a 4 out of me it was pretty good.

we have been to cobalt 4 or 5 times and have always had agooddining experience. one of our favorites is the pecan catfish which is delicious. other items we have had that were verygoodwere the flatbread, fresh oysters and various appetizers.

we also have had.sunday brunch which was wonderful.
