clusters & hops

holy truffle oil!!!. my wife and i went in on a tuesday to try it out and see what all of the fuss was about. they were not busy for thewaitthat we received for our food. maybe 6 people in the place. wine was good. good selection for such a small market. i had the "angus mackie" and it had wayyyyy to much truffle oil on it. i knew that the sandwich was going to be very rich but damn. at least serve it with something acidic other than the horseradish to cut the fat of the oil and the mac and cheese. my wife had the "melted mozzarella focaccia sandwich" and she said that it was ok at best and didn't understand thewaitfor what we ordered. probably won't be going back which sucks because i really wanted to like this place. if anything i'll go back for the market selection of wines.

simply outstanding! their food is of the highest quality and just straight-up delicious. i'm a sucker for gourmet burgers and their blue cheese kobe beef sliders topped with caramelized onions and foie gras is one of the best incarnations of a hamburger i've ever had. in addition other dishes i've had here from the cheese board to the the truffle mac & cheese has been superb. i can'twaitto return!

great food!. my husband and i went to clusters and hops for the first time this past week, and we were highly impressed with the atmosphere and the selection and quality of the food!! the baked focaccia bread was incredible, our entrees were well worth the price, and the wine was fantastic. our server was also very attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, and we really felt that they did the best job they could to provide us a great experience.

my only complaint was thewaittime. we got into the restaurant before the "dinner rush" so we got a table right away, though people who came in later were told there was a 2-hourwaittime. the two severs present we continually having to apologize to customers for being "understaffed" (both in the kitchen and in the house) because things were running slowly. we got our drinks and our appetizers fairly quickly, but had towaitnearly an hour for our entrees, and we didn't have time to try the amazing sounding desserts like we had hoped to. it could have just been a rough night, though, and it didn't really taint our experience too much.

all that to say, if you have a good 2+ hours to enjoy your full meal (drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert), i definitely suggest dining at clusters and hops!! fantastic atmosphere and experience!!!

lunch on saturday is a great time to stop by. you are virtually guaranteed to get a table and prompt service. at night, things get busy and thewaitfor food once seated can become irritating. in any case, the food is so satisfying and mouthwatering that it is well worth the wait. try the norwegian breakfast cheese on the cheese platter. yum!

horrible- rude rude rude. in all my years of dining, i have never had the displeasure of a waiter who was not only uninformed about the food, but rude and arrogant. the food left much to be desired... but that paled in comparison to our shock at the attitude of thewaitstaff. when i come into town for visit, i always dine at cypress, and boy, did i make a mistake by trying this place !!! suggest you do the same !

yum!. i love eating at clusters. i'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian, and although my options are limited, i always enjoy a fantastic meal. they have a tinywaitstaff, and i do prefer one of the waiters to the other, but they're all professional in my experience. the atmosphere isn't the best for the price, but you're going to be served quality meals (and desserts!).

kobe foie gras slidders and great affordable wine. the music and decor are aweful, but the food and wine are great. they sometimes have kobe beef sliders topped with foie gras, which are to die for. also, they have a pretty decent wine selection. you just pick a bottle off the shelf and they'll cork it for a small fee, so you're able to get a much better bottle of wine for a half of the price you'd pay at another restaurant.

although, they need to hire newwaitstaff, as they are not always very attentive.
