a nice surprise.. great little place. very small, maybe 8 tables.
no reservations taken so you need to just wing it. we sat at the bar for 20 mins or so waiting for a table.
wine list is substantial, staff seem to even know what the wines are. that's a change.
food does take some time to arrive, but it was worth the wait. loved thecheesesampler, our main course was very good. i had the pork, wife chose the tuna.
very intimate setting, loved the ambiance. would definitely return. only negative we could think of was try not to take the table next to the kitchen. it's very hot. we had to retire back to the bar once dinner was over.

worth it!!! in all of my 12 years of living here, this restaurant was hands-down one of the best i've been to in tallahassee! no exaggeration. the atmosphere was relaxed but romantic, the service was excellent and the food was remarkable! started off with acheeseand wine appetizer for one which ended up still being enough for two people and a 4 year old. the ostrich and duck filets were tender and flavored to a "t." 3 drinks, 1 appetizer and 3 entrees came to about $90. that may be a little pricey for some but i was fine with it because the quality was superb. will be making a return trip.

simply outstanding! their food is of the highest quality and just straight-up delicious. i'm a sucker for gourmet burgers and their bluecheesekobe beef sliders topped with caramelized onions and foie gras is one of the best incarnations of a hamburger i've ever had. in addition other dishes i've had here from thecheeseboard to the the truffle mac &cheesehas been superb. i can't wait to return!

perfect for our girls shopping day!. my girlfriends and i made a pit stop by clusters and hops during a day of shopping. we had wine and acheeseboard. everything was perfect including the atmosphere.

best food evarrr!!!. ok, perhaps i exaggerate but only by the slightest bit because the food here is mind meltingly awesome. we had the goat cheese, fig jam, and truffle oil sandwich and the truffle macaroni and cheese. i swear when i ate this sandwich, a heavenly chorus appeared. i don't usually like macaroni andcheesetoo much but on this day, i was a die hard fan. best mac n'cheeseever! this quiet little wine store, secluded next to a mattress shop, is officially my favorite restaurant in tallahassee

went here for dinner. the food was incredible. i liked everything i tried. the truffle mac andcheeseand berry tarte were my favorite.

lunch on saturday is a great time to stop by. you are virtually guaranteed to get a table and prompt service. at night, things get busy and the wait for food once seated can become irritating. in any case, the food is so satisfying and mouthwatering that it is well worth the wait. try the norwegian breakfastcheeseon thecheeseplatter. yum!

best in tally. my favorite restaurant in tallahassee and i have lived here my whole life! expensive but worth every penny! the crack in a crock (fancy mac andcheesewith truffle oil) is a must have. but don't get too much of it. it's easy to fill up on and you need to try other things! i always get a salad. fresh and tasty. selection of beer and wine is phenomenal. i have been for both lunch and dinner, both amazing. did have a couple of bad experiences with the service but it was because it was a busy night and they usually have a couple of servers. plan on spending some time there. it's fun to just hang out, relax, and really enjoy their food.

table 6, please? oh, there are only five.... great atmosphere, magnificant mac n'cheesebut ya kinda stop going when you go so many times and can't get a table because there are so very few. just sayin'.

the food here is amazing. its such a cool spot because its so hidden -you feel like you're in on a secret. the mac andcheeseis out of this world. a little pricey, but you definetly get what you pay for.

best.place.in.tally. hands down, best place to eat in tallahassee! i have never left unhappy. in fact, i'm always giddy that i just ate there! best thing i ever had there you ask? kobe sliders. that's right. they were the most amazing, melt in your mouth, delicious, morsels i'd had in a long time. but! they were a special of the day! noo!! those need to be on the menu all the time. "crack in a crock" is also good: mac ncheesewith truffle oil. though, for some reason, it's never hot enough for me. maybe they should keep the crocks under a heating lamp. great flatbreads. amazing entrees. service is 50/50. there's one guy there that's super amazing and really sweet. another that has no personality what so ever. went there for my birthday just the other day and got mr. personality. sense the sarcasm. i was kinda bummed but the food tastes the same no matter who your server is. so i can't dwell. clusters & hops, more than just a hang out a drink a glass of wine or mug of beer place. if that's all you're doing there than you are seriously missing out!

get the truffle mac. small place. wish it was more private, but the food is good and the wine is as well.

my recommendation: the truffle mac andcheeseappetizer as a meal. then order a salad and get the aged parmesan with the chocolatey balsamic sauce drizzled over top for dessert. delish!
