this was a delicious meal. raegan wants to come back for a breakfast, and our good friend jackie also told us later that the breakfasts there were wonderful. so that’s a mission!

memphis french toast. i love the classen grill. the fresh orange juice is so good. the service is awesome. the farmers omelet is also tasty. usually a wait, but the wait isn't long.

memphis french toast. yum! so good, no need to syrup. the sweetness of the honey and bananas makes this perfect!

the restaurant can be a little noisy, but the food is incredible. the farmers omelet is tasty goodness. we also had the memphis french toast made with peanut butter, bananas, and honey. so good, it didn't need any syrup. the fresh orange juice was fantastic. waited 10 minutes for a table, and it was worth it. will definitely be going back again.

good food ~ bad service. usually go every weekend and it is very busy. service is not so great but the food is good. went with a party of seven before and they seemed very put out to serve us and even though there was a couple of tables they could have pushed together they were going to make us wait for a booth that would probably sit five.

good service, bad food. i enjoyed the atmosphere and the service, but the food was just so bad. i had the blt benedict and cheese grits. the grits were gross, and the blt benedict was tastless.

it's not bad; but it's not as great as it used to be either. consider this a thumbs up, but with expectations for something better. i still remember going there in the early 1990s when their breakfast simply couldn't be topped. the vibe, the location, all in all, it was a complete classic. i went last weekend, and had a good breakfast. good. but not great. at some point things fell off the mark a bit. the location and vibe screams out for someone to turn it into a 24/7 diner. the food is still good, just not as great as it used to be. at some point, hopefully soon, maybe someone will take the reins of this faded legend and bring it back to where it once was and then some.

great!. after reading some of the bad reviews, i was a little nervous. but i was wrong. if anyone knows anything about "hole in the wall" breakfast places, this is one. you can't get any better than just some good ol' home cooked breakfast. my daughter and i both had the short-stack pancakes with a side of hashbrowns and everything perfect. my husband had the tequitos and he loved them. all three meals were more than we could eat. we would have liked to order the fresh squeezed oj, but like most people stated, almost $5 for a large glass is a little pricey. the service was great even though the place was jam packed and about a 20 minute wait. overall, everything was great and well worth it.

worst breakfast ever...had egg benedict...my potatoes were cold, the english muffins were like biting into a crouton, and the hollandaise sauce was cold and lumpy!

don't go after breakfast, or maybe just don't go?. had a terrible lunch there. service was great but the food wasn't a patch on what it used to be. the queso tasted like it was from a giant can of circus cheez. another time the breakfast burrito tasted slightly worse than something you could have from taco bell. this place used to be amazing. the taters may still be good, but the whole neighborhood needs some quality tex mex. bring it back!

special for a reason.

freshly squeezed orange juice and chinook eggs -- perfect!

the coyote quesadilla and the freshly squeezed orange juice? perfect!

service: darn near perfect.

local crowd: happy and well fed.

this is always a favorite for me when i have out-of-town guests -- i've yet to see one of them leave classen grill unhappy.

if you go here and don't order the orange juice, you are a dummy.

best breakfast in town. despite its unprepossessing exterior and cramped parking, the classen grill consistently serves top notch breakfast. the vintage orange juicer located in the dining area produces delicious freshly squeezed juice. the breakfast quesadillas are especially good. everything is homemade and delicious.

a good place... although its not the easiest place in the world to get to and park at, it's worth the effort to get yourself to classen grill.

the food there is above and beyond the usual breakfast and the brunch offerings are solid too.

i have tried a few things on the menu and i can recommend a couple for sure. the chicken fry is named after the place and is great for a hearty breakfast with it and a couple eggs. they have a good standard eggs benedict, and im a sucker for that, but, they also have a blt benedict and it's pretty much what it sounds like and tasty as it gets for a brunch item.

pretty ugly inside (but not gross, just ugly), is the only thing i can think that isnt a plus.

good service, good food. not much else to ask for from a place like classen grill.
