great work on providing the hospitable environment. service is up to the mark.foodwas served nice and hot and was tasting good too. i would like to come back here again.

i've been here countless times- for all meals. i just love it. thefoodis a bit inconsistent but it's still classic. interior fits it's name to a t.

great brunch location and a very decent variety of dishes, as my first visit here i was very impressed and will be returning! i love great tastingfoodand city cafe definitely gave me great food.

don't go here for a birthday. we took a friend here for her birthday, and we asked the waiter if they do anything for birthdays, he said if we buy a desert they will stick a candle in it. considering this is a fairly pricey restaurant, i wasn't too impressed. thefoodwas good, but not impressive. it was overpriced compared to what you can get elsewhere. the service wasn't great either, the waiter had to leave near the end of our meal, so he seemed impatient and rushed us.

city cafe is awesome!!! amazingfoodexcellent service! one of the best restaurants in baltimore by far! best fried green tomatoes ever...

nice place. on a scale of 1 - 5 i give this place a 3.5...

this place has great atmosphere. i went here with an old friend and it was not too loud to hear and thefoodwas generally good. my friend was very happy with the stake. i had the caesar with grilled chicken. the caesar was good, but the chicken was like leather, so i moved it aside and enjoyed the salad. service was ok as well.

parking was also not a problem which can sometimes be bad in downtown baltimore. i was able to find a street parking spot right in front of the entrance which was great.

i would definitely go here again.

good eats, bad for restaurant week. i was there yesterday for lunch. this was the 2nd time i have been. thefoodis good, the server was nice. what i was not happy about was the fact that the server told me that they weren't doing the restaurant week menu "until later" (i took that to mean dinner time and i was there in the early pm). that, however, was not accurate. i specifically picked city cafe for lunch because i had looked at the menu online at least 2 times in the last week and saw they were participating for both lunch and dinner before i made my reservation. also because i knew that there were options for me (vegetarian).

yummy but expensive. i really like thefoodhere the only downside is the price. the flavors are nicely paired. the chicken & mozz w/ pancetta dish is amazing! their calamari is fried to perfection. they're pretty stingy on the lobster in the lobster mac-n-cheese. the atmosphere is very posh and modern. it's a great place to take a date or have a girls dinner. try the sangria - i lived in spain and have tried some amazing sangria and their's is pretty good!

we really enjoyed this cafe. the staff is friendly and thefoodis amazing. the three little pigs is an absolute masterpiece. my wife loved the lobster mashed potatoes and crabcake. she also loved the fried green tomatoes appetizer. the prices are reasonable for what you get. i would have been happy to pay twice as much.
