meh. the dinner selection andbreakfastsandwiches are great, however i got an order of their biscuits and gravy once, and the gravy was sour. also, the young ladies in the establishment need to understand what time management and customer service means. they are on their phones way too much and it takes them forever to bring you a drink. i've been a waitress and hostess before...and it's not rocket science. people caught on their cell phones were warned once, and the second time fired. obviously the owner/manager doesn't focus on meetings or additional training to bring this to attention. thankfully there are good cooks in the back, otherwise this business would diminish quickly.

good food for the price. i've had thebreakfastand the burgers and both were very good

great new find / we'll be back. went to christi's today with friends on their recommendation. we were not disappointed. huge main dish portion had both my wife and i taking home leftovers. service was good and the wait staff very pleasant.

great home cooking offerings,breakfastavailable 24/7. we both had the boneless fried chicken and it was great. we all shared fried pickles and fried green tomatoes. yes, eating well was blown today, but it was worth it!

prices were not low or high. 36 and change for 3 people on our bill. considering an appetizer being ordered i consider that respectable.

i will say that it was interesting to see a great client mix. families of 4 or more. older husbands and wives. 3 members of the "grim reapers motorcycle club" (all wearing t-shirts signifying such and all looked the part). 3 uniformed louisville metro police officers. now that is americana folks.

give this place a try. we'll definitely be back soon!

good food, bad service!. my family and i travel to louisville 2 or 3 times a month. we love to stop at
christi's cafe forbreakfastwhen we do. the food is really good. but the last
2 times we had a lousy waitress. (the same waitress both times) yesterday (1/23) she spent so much time running her mouth that we ate ourbreakfastwithout our coffee. when my husband mention it to her, while paying our bill, another customer told her the same thing. he told her she completely ignored us, even when my husband had turned around and was tapping on his cup to get her attention! it was around 8:30 and the restaurant wasn't busy.
