food and service is always awesome!. cristi's cafe has the best chicken fried steak! i always ate other items on the menu until i decided to give it a try and i have been hooked ever since! i mean their other food is great too! it never disappoints!

great food, interesting atmosphere, & good price. thre was a classic car show going on when we went too.

i had lunch there today and thought it was really good. i was there around 10:30 and it was busy. the inside is diner themed and pleasant and there is plenty of parking.

i had a cup of chili with cheese, onions, and spaghetti. i thought it was really good for chili out and i'm kind of picky on chili. i also had a triple decker club that was also really good. i couldn't finish it and brought half of it home. i also tried the fried cornbread, but wouldn't opt for it again. i'm from the deep south and it was too sweet for me. :-) it was like a pancake sweet. it's not bad if you like your cornbread sweet. (southerners eat everything sweet, except cornbread.) the sweet tea was perfectly sweet and i liked that.

everything on the menu looked good and it was pretty much the standard diner/family restaurant fare. the servers were busy but worked hard and the service was good. the other patrons were warm and friendly and there are obviously a lot of regulars here and i can see why. nothing fancy or pretentious here, just good comfort food served by warm, friendly people. next time i'm back in the area, it's definitely on the list.

meh. the dinner selection and breakfast sandwiches are great, however i got an order of their biscuits and gravy once, and the gravy was sour. also, the young ladies in the establishment need to understand what time management and customer service means. they are on their phones way too much and it takes them forever to bring you a drink. i've been a waitress and hostess before...and it's not rocket science. people caught on their cell phones were warned once, and the second time fired. obviously the owner/manager doesn't focus on meetings or additional training to bring this to attention. thankfully there are good cooks in the back, otherwise this business would diminish quickly.

bad service. never got food, nor a coffee refill, waitress did manage to bring the check though. typical red neck dixie hwy attitude- " well i had a big to go order in front of you?!" . the place wasn't even busy. i will never go back.

different between corn bread and pancakes. i had the country fried steak dinner which was good. but i ask for corn bread and i got pancakes. don't your cook no the differents between corn bread and pancakes. i don't think so. someone needs to show them that the two are totally different and taste different.

ehhh. there food is good. but it taste different everytime . also they need to have a no cell phone policy . these young kids need to stay off there phones & do there job !!

had avoided it based on one persons experience when it first opened. glad we gave it a try, ate there saturday and sunday. bigmouth burger is my favorite. country fried steak is the best i have tasted in years.

they're food was excellent but they're service was horrible . the girl seriously ignored us. also she forgot to bring me my coffee . instead of getting our drinks, she sat there & took selfies & the other girl looked like she just came in from a hang over . they have too many young girls, who aren't doing there job . i won't be back !!!

colorful and always buzzing with conversation...only topped by the great home-style food! love this little jewel of louisville's south end!

good food for the price. i've had the breakfast and the burgers and both were very good

thursday meatloaf is the bomb. i have been eating meatloaf every thursday for two months now, it really gives you a feeling of my mom's meatloaf, it is so good.

awesome. very nice staff accurate service food done fresh not over or under cooked delivered to your table in reasonable amount of time good place to spend less money for more food on the plate better then going to apple bees or anything further on down dixie and the best thing is because there like a dinner you can get whatever you want all day.cant wait to go back.
