@xihuahua 🐶 took me to staff lunch. thisplacelook simple but the dishes are not simple. very authentic childhood dishes can be found here for chinese person. the braised pork rice is highly recommended, grab the hot and sour soup too! i think my complaint would be on the braised pork which was too fatty. but if you like rich fatty meat melt on your tongue you must try here!

my favourite go toplaceif i want some taiwanese cuisine. fast service. food is yummy and price is reasonable. suitable for under group of four people.

alwata crowded but theplaceis very small. the food was good. the price was okay not that expensive and cheap so in the middle. its chinese food restaurant. probably we need to eat fast because usually other people also waiting.

personal favourite: deep fried egg plant & mushroom. order a new potato & tofu this time. taste quite similar to three cup chicken & highly recommended. niceplacefor any vege lovers :) btw, the deep fried and sweet sour fish is the best!

we visited this taiwanese eatery last week after many years of absence, not being in the area that often. it was great to see that the food is just as good as it was 15 years ago, very reasonably priced and well cooked. service is friendly and efficient. their set meals come with a main, rice and a couple of accompaniments (usually egg, vegetable or tofu) and a slice of orange to finish. there are also a variety of small side dishes on display that you can pick and choose from. theplacecan get busy but turnover is fast.

a clear winner in the area, much like the small taiwan street restaurants, theplaceis quite small and can only fit a few people in at a time. i ordered the taiwan minced pork with rice set with a side and you can add a drink for +$1. the minced pork has a great taste and the radish gives it an extra flavour. there's a lot of rice so it is very filling and i would recommend the side dish of fried chicken or pork chop. overall, they have fast service and have had a great experience.

you know aplaceis good when theres a queue outside a line of restaurants and you will not be disappointed with this humble authentic taiwanese joint. highly recommend the braised pork with rice and the fried pork chops. the cold dishes are the bomb-my fav are (if you dare) pig ears, bamboo shoots and mushrooms w. glutinous balls. also don't go without trying their pearl milk tea, it's the best i've had!

you would think they sell dumplings but they don't. thisplaceshould be called taiwanese king because they do damn good taiwanese snacks and dishes. we go for the beef noodle soup but admittedly its been quite bland lately. the fried chicken is always good though as well as their side dishes like pig ears, tripe, seaweed salad and tofu.

highly satisfying 15 dollars meal. the fried chicken pieces at thisplaceare so good and addictive. the only downside is that the line could get long.

fyi they don't serve dumplings.
thisplacehas a nice family run vibe and the people who work here are really sweet and friendly. they serve really good and great value taiwanese food. lots of people order take-away from thisplacei noticed while dining here too. check them out.

the very best hot & sour soup in town, i never get it anywhere else. must've had it here dozens of times over the years. 

for something like $11 you can get taiwanese minced pork on rice, soup, and a choice of side dish - try the fried tofu. if it's before 5pm, there's a soup & side dish snack deal for a lot less, & you get to sit down with hot tea as well. small & crowded, which is fair enough for the price.
efficient & busy takeaway service. 

the cold dishes are small, cheap & interesting. if you're not an offal fan then check the descriptions carefully, or ask. vegetarian dishes include chilli bamboo shoots, mashed potato, fried eggplant, soya skin, pickled cucumber.... eat in or takeaway thisplaceis reliable for good food, bargain prices, no frills.

don't let the name fool you, there's no dumplings here but that's not what you go here for.
thisplacehas always been my staple on good value taiwanese food, the cold little dishes are always a delicious adventure, the set meals are delicious and full of variety and that pork in the meat sauce rice just melts in your mouth.
this is a must try hole in the wallplacein sydney.

a family favorite for us! we are regulars and a day out in the city is practically incomplete without having a feed here. although there is a guaranteed wait, the turnaround is quick (t be afraid to try the sides either! only negative is the fact that they (ironically) do dumplings at all anymore! oh and on occasion some new staff members are a bit pushy. a great littleplacet
