best local burger and wing spot. this place is amazingly tasty. not healthy. but that's not why you go to a place like this. you go because your hung over and need some grease in your belly. but this place doesn't give just any old grease, it is manna from heaven. nectar of the gods. you want an instant cure for a hang over, it is worth a 30 minute drive wherever you are coming from to make it happen. the people are always friendly, i've met the owner before, and what a great owner he is. it has what he likes, and often that's all a menu needs. not a large selection of beers, but there are good ones, and i think they are the bestwingsavailable, perhaps known to mankind.

great little spot. my father and i had a hankering for wings. after clicking around on the big spoon, i came across chiefs. upon reading the rave review from my friend and urbanspoon legend, the late great chuck bradley, i saddled up the ol’ truck, picked up my dad, and headed south. the restaurant itself is pretty cozy, offers a good amount of seating, and a rather extensive menu. thewingsare sold by the pound so my dad went with 2lbs of the nakedwingswhile yours truly went with the 1lb of “white buffalo”, which is a creamy garlic sauce with a kick and 1lb of “hot” wings. each order ofwingscomes with your choice of shoestring fries or homemade chips; i chose the chips. mywingswere superb! the hot, deep fried, wingsin an excellent non-vinegary sauce hot sauce had me questioning why i ever ate at those chain wing places! the star of the show was the white buffalo wings; as stated above, they were creamy, had a little heat, and a light garlic punch. you know the food is good when rev. rooster isn’t talking during the meal; we made good use of the supplied paper towels and were not much for conversation the entire time we were there. i highly recommend that you give ‘em a taste.

loved it!. this place was phenomenal for hot wings! my sister and i are big fans of hotwingsand at chiefs, you order by the pound and pick whatever style sauce you want. i went for a spicy buffalo and my sister got a spicy honey thing. either way, the wings, beers, and onion rings were great! not a place to go on a first date but a great place to chill and hang out.

a group of us wanted to honor the late great chuck bradley by picking a restaurant which he reviewed positively. chuck did not disappoint, the girls were a little hesitant about our "nice meal out" as we pulled up to a small building in a town we have never been to. the staff was very friendly and the patio had a great atmosphere. the prices were very good, $16 for a great prime rib. thewingswere great with extra sauce to dip the included fries in. we all also somehow made room for dessert and had some oreo cheesecake and peanut butter chocolate pie. the local beer from steelhead was also good and try we're offering samples on the patio. good times, thanks chuck!

not at all what i expected.. friends that took us to chiefs wildwingsrecently raved about how amazing the food was. we've all heard "word-of-mouth" reviews from friends, neighbors, and relatives raving about the best food they've ever tasted, etc. so i wasn't expecting much as we walked into the tiny, rustic little eatery. one of the first things i noticed was that the tables were all beautifully made of rough-cut then polished walnut. i was suitably impressed when i learned the owner made them. i ordered the chilli burger and sweet potato fries off the menu, and my wife ordered a philly cheesesteak sandwich with onion rings. i was prepared for the quality of the food and generous portions but i was totally unprepared for the flavor. absolutely the best chili i have ever had. so many interesting, well-balanced flavors combining to make a chili like no other. my wife was also totally impressed by the philly sandwich. the owners were also wonderfully gracious and gregarious making the meal an experience to remember.

a converted upright freezer.......... serves as the smoker for this gem of a que-burger-wing joint. and, trust me, it works just fine!

my brother and i drove out coburg rd from eugene to find this highly recommended place and we both agreed that it lived up to its rep.

we split a mushroom swiss burger, a pulled pork sandwich and a pound ofwingswith medium buffalo sauce. i had a garden salad and he had a potato salad side.

boy howdy! the pulled pork was really pulled and just about melted in our mouths. instructions on my next visit will be to put the bbq sauce on the side. if the meat requires any, it should be very little. the burger, which has been touted to me as the "best in oregon" is certainly in the running. the bun was barely up to the task and was in tatters before i was through with my half. thewingswere perfect and came with a load of home-make chips the likes of which i've only had at the now defunct k.i.s.s café in salem.

as if i hadn't stuffed myself to the point of ridiculousness already, kelly came back to the table with an in-house-made cinnamon roll that just about set me free!

if you've never been here, you need to go. but be warned. this ain't no lunch for no lightweight!
