best food around!!!!. we happened in this place by chance and have been back 12 times in several months.

love this place!. i love this place! i have tried other bbq places in eugene and springfield but do not rate like this place. the bbq sandwich is delicious and great with coleslaw on the side. their fries are wonderful as well as their ribs. it's not fancy but its great!

small town restaurant with big time flavors. ordered the geronimo with chip fries and it was delicious. server asked if we wanted fry sauce or ranch so i was dipping the chips in homemade ranch. it’s a tiny building with lots of seats so it can’t be pretty noisy but it’s part of the charm.

great burgers! definitely my favorite in the whole eugene, springfield, coburg area. the girls at the counter are always friendly. i would give a 5 star but the only thing i would recommend is that the fries not be in a million little pieces and for some reason they're super crisp hard fries. almost like potato chips. i'm not sure if they're meant to be?? i highly recommend chiefs if you're looking for a great burger!! just ask them ahead of time to not make the fries crispy and they will.

i used to own bbq restaurants and competed. this place makes some of the best pulled pork, brisket and prime rib bbq i have ever had. good beers on tap and quick friendly staff that are just plain happy to see you. i have never had pulled pork that is as moist yet crispy burnt end flavor and texture. sweet kc style sauce

the food. i got invited down to try the food their. i'm pick with my bbq foods. so when someone tells me they got good food i'll go try it. the place has great customer service, firendly smiles and good food! to my surprise the food was great. the sauce excellent. i would recommend this place to friends and people i meet on the streets.

going downhill. portion sizes have been getting smaller and the chip fries have been "soggy" the last few times there.

salty. read about this place in paper and like to support local businesses. good menu and service but saltiest beef i have ever had. couldn't even eat it.

great food, service stinks. i believe they are too busy to show you that they really care about your business and are more concerned with just getting the food out. the blond girl that works the counter at night needs some training on how to take care of customers. she gets flustered and one time when i called in to tell her that my to go order wasn't right, she said "well what do you want me to do about it?" great product, but you can tell they don't know how to make the customer feel as if he/she is the one keeping the lights on!

been to this place about fifteen times never ever had a problem with them great service if your looking for a place to eat at and you like hamburgers and wings i prefer that you go to chiefs wild wings.

best local burger and wing spot. this place is amazingly tasty. not healthy. but that's not why you go to a place like this. you go because your hung over and need some grease in your belly. but this place doesn't give just any old grease, it is manna from heaven. nectar of the gods. you want an instant cure for a hang over, it is worth a 30 minute drive wherever you are coming from to make it happen. the people are always friendly, i've met the owner before, and what a great owner he is. it has what he likes, and often that's all a menu needs. not a large selection of beers, but there are good ones, and i think they are the best wings available, perhaps known to mankind.

great little spot. my father and i had a hankering for wings. after clicking around on the big spoon, i came across chiefs. upon reading the rave review from my friend and urbanspoon legend, the late great chuck bradley, i saddled up the ol’ truck, picked up my dad, and headed south. the restaurant itself is pretty cozy, offers a good amount of seating, and a rather extensive menu. the wings are sold by the pound so my dad went with 2lbs of the naked wings while yours truly went with the 1lb of “white buffalo”, which is a creamy garlic sauce with a kick and 1lb of “hot” wings. each order of wings comes with your choice of shoestring fries or homemade chips; i chose the chips. my wings were superb! the hot, deep fried, wings in an excellent non-vinegary sauce hot sauce had me questioning why i ever ate at those chain wing places! the star of the show was the white buffalo wings; as stated above, they were creamy, had a little heat, and a light garlic punch. you know the food is good when rev. rooster isn’t talking during the meal; we made good use of the supplied paper towels and were not much for conversation the entire time we were there. i highly recommend that you give ‘em a taste.

loved it!. this place was phenomenal for hot wings! my sister and i are big fans of hot wings and at chiefs, you order by the pound and pick whatever style sauce you want. i went for a spicy buffalo and my sister got a spicy honey thing. either way, the wings, beers, and onion rings were great! not a place to go on a first date but a great place to chill and hang out.

a group of us wanted to honor the late great chuck bradley by picking a restaurant which he reviewed positively. chuck did not disappoint, the girls were a little hesitant about our "nice meal out" as we pulled up to a small building in a town we have never been to. the staff was very friendly and the patio had a great atmosphere. the prices were very good, $16 for a great prime rib. the wings were great with extra sauce to dip the included fries in. we all also somehow made room for dessert and had some oreo cheesecake and peanut butter chocolate pie. the local beer from steelhead was also good and try we're offering samples on the patio. good times, thanks chuck!

chiefs wild wings. i went back to my home town to see what had changed. i spotted the old “coburg cafe” and stopped in to see what the latest news was in town. to my surprise my cousin had open the cafe and had made big changes inside. history of coburg on the walls and a drawing of “old coburg high” brought back old memories. two things caught my eye, first was the menu with great choices, second was the tables that had been built by my cousin. they were made from a walnut tree that had grown in the yard of one of my class-mates. they were beautiful and worth your time to look at. back to the menu, we had one great bq sandwich and those great sweet potato fries. more food then you can eat. i recommend “chefs wild wing” to every one that comes back to their old stopping grounds and to new visitors
