i used to own bbq restaurants and competed. this place makes some of the best pulled pork, brisket and prime rib bbq i have ever had.goodbeers on tap and quick friendly staff that are just plain happy to see you. i have never had pulled pork that is as moist yet crispy burnt end flavor and texture. sweet kc style sauce

the food. i got invited down to try the food their. i'm pick with my bbq foods. so when someone tells me they gotgoodfood i'll go try it. the place has great customer service, firendly smiles andgoodfood! to my surprise the food was great. the sauce excellent. i would recommend this place to friends and people i meet on the streets.

salty. read about this place in paper and like to support local businesses.goodmenu and service but saltiest beef i have ever had. couldn't even eat it.

best local burger and wing spot. this place is amazingly tasty. not healthy. but that's not why you go to a place like this. you go because your hung over and need some grease in your belly. but this place doesn't give just any old grease, it is manna from heaven. nectar of the gods. you want an instant cure for a hang over, it is worth a 30 minute drive wherever you are coming from to make it happen. the people are always friendly, i've met the owner before, and what a great owner he is. it has what he likes, and often that's all a menu needs. not a large selection of beers, but there aregoodones, and i think they are the best wings available, perhaps known to mankind.

great little spot. my father and i had a hankering for wings. after clicking around on the big spoon, i came across chiefs. upon reading the rave review from my friend and urbanspoon legend, the late great chuck bradley, i saddled up the ol’ truck, picked up my dad, and headed south. the restaurant itself is pretty cozy, offers agoodamount of seating, and a rather extensive menu. the wings are sold by the pound so my dad went with 2lbs of the naked wings while yours truly went with the 1lb of “white buffalo”, which is a creamy garlic sauce with a kick and 1lb of “hot” wings. each order of wings comes with your choice of shoestring fries or homemade chips; i chose the chips. my wings were superb! the hot, deep fried, wings in an excellent non-vinegary sauce hot sauce had me questioning why i ever ate at those chain wing places! the star of the show was the white buffalo wings; as stated above, they were creamy, had a little heat, and a light garlic punch. you know the food isgoodwhen rev. rooster isn’t talking during the meal; we madegooduse of the supplied paper towels and were not much for conversation the entire time we were there. i highly recommend that you give ‘em a taste.

a group of us wanted to honor the late great chuck bradley by picking a restaurant which he reviewed positively. chuck did not disappoint, the girls were a little hesitant about our "nice meal out" as we pulled up to a small building in a town we have never been to. the staff was very friendly and the patio had a great atmosphere. the prices were very good, $16 for a great prime rib. the wings were great with extra sauce to dip the included fries in. we all also somehow made room for dessert and had some oreo cheesecake and peanut butter chocolate pie. the local beer from steelhead was alsogoodand try we're offering samples on the patio.goodtimes, thanks chuck!

i really liked this place. the food is delicious!goodportions andgoodprices. definitely one of my new favorite places. i recommend it!

awesome food & people!. i moved to oregon from arizona via california, since i've been in oregon i've had a hard time finding food with flavor! i find most of the food in oregon to be very bland! my new girlfriend, now soon to be wife suggested we stop at chiefs cause i've been bummed about the food quality in oregon and she knew i lovedgoodwings! i make sure to go at least once a week! i love chiefs and the staff! very friendly people that make some of the best food i've ever had! huge portions and huge flavor! a+++++ for sure!

i am not a fan of fish, but the fish and chips are fantastic! i never thought i would eat fish! it is mild and not mushy!

great bbq i haven't had thisgoodof q for along time. get there early the sepicals go fast and the services is ok but sure is a nice place. can't waite to come back.

alwaysgoodburgers and great clam chowder. had the prime rib and it was very enjoyable.

amazing.... we were traveling home to the oregon coast. stopped to walk the dogs in the park and a woman said if you need a place to eat go to chief's on the main street and recommended the pork sandwich. sounded good, so we gave it a try. it was busy as there was an oregon football game on the big tvs. hubby had the pulled pork sandwich and i had the beef brisket sandwich. both terrific--piles of juicy meat on a fresh grilled bun with choice of several sides.goodlooking dessert selection too, although we didn't get anything. very reasonable prices. servings so big, we ended up having the rest for dinner. could easily split a sandwich if we could agree on one. staff are friendly and fun. a must stop place in coburg!

second visit, equally asgoodbut the mac and cheese was a surprise. came in a big, deep fried ball. you could tell it wasgoodmac and cheese but this presentation was not for me. waitress advised me that you can get it just heated, but you have to ask. i'll do that next time!
