chef paz restaurant

not too impressed. my girlfriend came in to eat .the waiter didn't greet us until we asked if we could sit down.i ordered beefstew.my girlfriend ordered rice with chicken. the stew tasted like soap was in it. my girlfriend said the chicken was dry and alittle burnt.priceswere good but we wont go back.i think there are better places to eat in town.

delicioso!!!. absolutely delicious. i have visited cafe paz a number of times. greatpricesand great food. the presentation is a work of art. i will return as often as possible. try a chicha morada. chef maritza paz is the greatest!! . her son is a chef in iquitos, peru and i hope to visit him in march.

as good as it gets. chef maritiza catered an event for me at a local university.: ceviche, lomo saltado, aji de gallina, papa rellena - all famous dishes, typical of fine peruvian food. the experienced ceviche fans in the groups said it was the finest they ever tasted. the lomo saltado - a beef tenderloin dish - was a big hit. i've been to peru and this is the real deal - as good as it gets anywhere - including downtown lima at the upscale restaurants.

while this may sound like exotic food, the potato and meat dishes will appeal to the average wisconsinite and the ceviche will appeal to the slightly more adventurous palate. my very traditional wisconsin relatives love chef maritza's dishes as do my friends from latin america.

thepricesare very competitive given the quality and portion size. a meal of this quality would easily cost you double the price if you were downtown or on the east side. i guarantee, you will not be disappointed.
