thisplaceis close to the miami zoo, and hides in a residential area. this restaurant is intimate, dark, romantic, but with a cool decor. according to the miami times, they have the best sangria in the city, one made with passion fruit and another with pomegranate. the dishes are varied, they offer, pork, chicken, meat and even fish. it doesn’t look like a miamian restaurant, as we see little influence from latin food, here the intense flavors come from the sauces that accompany the food, which in turn are inspired by the cuisine of napa valley in california.

my husband and i are both chefs in the culinary field. i recently had a baby and am a stay at home mom. my husband is a kitchen manager and works 15hr shifts 5 days a week. we dont get a lot of opportunity to go out on dates and we had been reading about chef adrienne and we decided to go support our local "famous" chef. made reservations for tuesday nigbt at 8. the restsurant is very narcisistic. huge pictures of chef above the wine bar and award pics of chef and with celebrities. we get it, youre setting us up for high standards. we ordered that nights spec app "open faced prawns with panko bread crumbs and miso butter" and the "pork wontons". what we received was not in fact prawns but regular butterflied shrimp. very disappointing. the truffle oil was so pungeant it over powered the shrimp app. the wontons however were extremely flavorful! we didnt complain in hopes that our entrees would be better. we ordered osso bucco and short rib: the flavor profiles are exactly identical!!!! two similar dishes done the same except one is with regulat mash and the other one is with sweet mashed potatoes. both had been drizzled with truffle oil and it killed the dish. the meats were not flavorful. its like they didnt finisb braising. a 24hr braise should have much more viscosity in the sauce and deep bold flavor. both our sauces were watery and bland. again, very disappointing. we finished off with dessert: creme brulee. first off, it was the first time i had eaten a creme brulee covered in powdered sugar. the whole reason is to see the bruleé part of it and evenness. after using the spoon to set aside the powder sugar we understood what had happened. the sugat wasnt burned evenly abd there was burned spot in the middle. it amazed us how thisplacecould have missed so many details in their flavor profiles. maybe the hype is getting to chefs head. the portions are huge and every thing was lukewarm. probably sitting under the heat lamp too long. the only thing that was delicious were the wantons and the pomegranate sangria and thats because they were at the right temp and had 0 truffle oil!!!! that restaurant is truffle oil central. if you follow her on instagram youll see her finishing touch: truffle oil!!! too much hype. not going back again. youre a talented chef but keep an eye on your front of house and kitchen staff. they can make you or break you.

chef adrianne’s vineyard and wine bar
an evening of disappointments, i live in davie fl and i am a self proclaimed food lover my wife and i eat out an average of 5 times per week and we like to discover new and exciting places.
after hearing about chef adrianne’s restaurant we became excited to go and taste her wonderful creations whenever the subject of places to eat came up , her restaurant came up with great recommendations , but living in davie fl we were hesitant to drive that far to try a new place, but finally last night we took the trip and unfortunately even though the main course was excellent the whole experience was a disaster .
to start the wine list as put together by the wine clerk at publix all the wines offered were of the shelf wine that you could find on any given day in the publix shelf nothing special and nothing to brag about
for aplacethat bills them self as a vineyard and wine bar it left a lot to be desired , following the wine list i asked the waiter what were the most popular dishes that they served and he recommended the “ world famous osso buco” and he got me , i love osso buco and i did not need to hear anything more well after placing our order for 2 appetizers and 4 main dishes , as we were enjoying our bottle of wine 10 minutes later the waiter comes and announces that the osso buco was not available, needless to say this was not good, well i change to his next recommendation the short ribs and they were very good but living me with the feeling that i did not get what i wanted , but in dose not end there time was going by and here comes the main dish and no appetizers, well this was the culmination of a evening of disappointment , it is sad to say that even if the food was good the restaurant did not meet our expectation, anyone can have a bad night but in this highly competitive world you only get one chance to make a good first impression.

i found about this restaurant in a article and i was very curious as there are not many excellents restaurants this part of town. i had the roasted wonton with pork which is a must and then i had the steak au cognac which was superb. the portions where very generous. my mother had osso bucco which was very good. she claims it was the best one she ever had. their wine selection was not big but we liked the pinot noir we chose for our meal. the waitress ashley was very helpful and accommodating. the next day i returned with 2 friends. we ordered the rostead pork again and eggplant for appetizer. the roasted pork was still a winner. this time for the main course i had the pork with garlic and chimichurri which was very good. there is a soft music out of a tv with a comfortable volume that allows you to follow the conversation. i still have to return to try other dishes from the menu. thisplaceis a must!

well... not at all one of miami's top.... we drove more than 30 minutes from south miami to get there. we came from montreal. we had read some of the reviews, and were really looking forward an amazing experience. it was not. theplaceis nice, the idea of using a variety of products (including bio products) is interesting... but putting it all together was not there. let's get to the detalis... we had the shrimps and the "deed fried" goat cheese (we did not know it was deep fried before ordering it... we only knew it was... bio). shrimps were well cooked... but way... way... way too much sauce... it was not good. goat cheese... way... too much breadcrums... way too much... and then... why deepfrying goat cheese? we then had the sea bass... and the osso bucco. sea bass was both well cooked and burned at some places... not acceptable in a nice restaurant... come on... white fish like sea bass cannot be burned. osso bucco... same problem... and if you are bringing a football team, that's the meal to order... we had so much... the quickly offered to box it for us... something you would never find in nice/chic restaurants... there is usually marrow in the bone of the osso bucco... ours was not there... mashed potatoes (which came with both osso bucco and sea bass) was good... but it could have been interesting not to have both meals with that... where's the green ? waiters were nice, but lacked training... they asked us, literally, 10 times if we were done... come on, again. finally, we had champagne... they give you glasses so filled... it's really a good deal.... but not what it should be in a nice restaurant. glasses should never be filled to the top... well... i tried to be constructive... hoping adrianne will read this... and keep improving...

absolutely amazing. i planned a romantic evening for my boyfriend at chef adrienne's last night (saturday). i've heard wonders of theplaceand had been dying to try it. i made reservations for 9pm and told my bf to meet me there at 9:15 so i would have time to order for us. the lady on the phone said she could do an anniversary table where they have rose petals and candles on the table. i passed by at 6pm to see theplaceand pick the menu for later that night. the waitress was nicole and she was the absolute sweetest! she helped me come up with a nice meal selection for the night, though a little on the expensive side (but very well worth it). since i told her we're trying to save money, she helped me make a few changes and order about the same but from a 2 for $39 menu (which includes two entrée's & an appetizer). when i got there last night, nicole greeted me and sat me at the table. the entire staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. it is a very nice, cozy, and romantic ambiance. the table was so pretty! i was very excited. she asked if i wanted anything to be brought to the table and we decided to wait until he got there and she would start bringing things out. once he got there she gave us some time to greet and talk and rene brought us some bread with delicious pesto. nicole came to introduce herself and asked if i wanted her to put my roses in vase with water for me on the table, which was extremely sweet. she then brought the two glasses of sangria. i ordered the pomegranate (red) and passion fruit (white) sangria's and they were both delicious, we couldn't choose which one was the best. the white sangria is sweeter and citrusy while the red is sweet and smooth. then they brought the soup of the day, which was mushroom bisque. you can see and taste how fresh and hot (right out of the pot) it was! it had some pieces of crackers crumbled on the top middle of the soup and scallions. then they brought the slow roasted pork wontons, which were amazing (and i don't even like pork, i ordered them because my bf loves wontons and meat). it was 4 wonton chips with pieces of pork and other deliciousness like white crumbled cheese and a guava glaze. then for the main course we had a filet mignon with mashed potatoes (for him) and the brown sugar crusted wild alaskan salmon with potatoes in garlic and sweet chili aioli sauce. both dishes were magnificent (it was like an explosion of delicious flavors in your mouth). for dessert, i ordered the nutella bread pudding (which i'm not fond of bread pudding, but nicole wasn't either and recommended this one as the best she's ever had). and it was truly amazing! the only bread pudding i will eat! it was served with a vanilla ice cream scoop and drizzled with chocolate ganache. the entire night was magical and heavenly. everything we ate and tasted was amazing. my bf even ordered another round of both sangria's. and they are both very strong and delicious, so it'll sneak up on you. ☺ rene, nicole, and the whole staff were wonderful and i highly recommend thisplaceto everyone i know. i'm an extremely picky person and my bf is a very picky eater as well and we were completely blown away by the amazingness of this place. the portions are sharable, but you can have leftovers if you don't share! we just had the leftovers for dinner tonight and it was wonderful! it is worth every penny! it's a peace of heaven in the middle of nowhere (where you'd least expect such a place). my new favoriteplaceand a must go!!!

let me start by saying my husband and i were so excited to eat here. we had made reservations 3 times in the preceding 4 weeks, but had to cancel each time due to extenuating circumstances. we were rooting for thisplacebig time. the food is pretty good. i wouldn't say stellar, but it's not awful. its nothing that an intermediate cook couldn't prepare. the portions are huge. overall, i'd rather eat at home. the main problem with this wine bar is the wine list and the lack of knowledge regarding the wines. our server (a woman, i don't recall her name) informed us that the one page wine list was the extent of their inventory. i don't mind a short list, but please don't tout yourself as a wine bar and have such a small selection. when asking about the qualities between a few chardonnays, the server only said "they're both good". that wasn't quite what we wanted. we wanted to know which would pair better with our meals and their qualities (oaky, buttery, fruity, etc). also, the price by the bottle was insane. i understand an upcharge, but a bottle of la crema (or whatever $20 wine it was) for $60 is outrageous. we won't be going back.

dark dining experience. my girlfriend and i ate at chef adriannes about a month ago and we had a great meal and experience! our waitress couldn't have been more friendly or knowledgable about the menu! she then told us about " dark dining" that they offer every month! we went last week and it was an amazing night! to be blindfolded and to test your taste senses without seeing the food was truly amazing! i can' t recommend chef adriannesplaceenough!
