the food is amazing. i have traveled all over the world and when i say i know miami is no food mecca, its the truth. miami wears a sort of facade of foodie when in fact it falls short to new york, new orleans, california, chicago, etc. nonetheless, i have come to find this incredible restaurant with an incredible chef. while i do agree that the location is a bit off, (its nowhere near anything you may recognize or note for being miami-esque) its an exceptional dining experience. for once in my 12 years in miami, i have wanted to lick the plate and have looked around and have seen the same reaction amongst other diners as well. i ask myself, where have i eaten lately that i have actually wanted to lick the plate? you too might agree that the answer is: nowhere. you must give chef adrianne's a shot. her food is exceptional. i was there this saturday and i was priviledged enough to have the wild mahi mahi with charred truffled brussel sprouts. its was succulent, perfectly cooked, lemony, buttery. the mashed potatoes were light and creamy perfectly indulgent. almost at the end of my meal, i tilt my head up to see this petite, red headed beauty, with such a humle happy glow, say hello. i could not believe my eyes. it wasadrianneherself to thank us for coming to eat. i still can't decide if the dessert was better or her smile. i have seen her on television many times and have pondered if she is really that sweet and funny in person. she really is that sweet and funny. god bless that beautiful talent. the world would be a better place if there were more chefs like her. the service was friendly and curteous. two things that you seldom find in miami. the servers knew the specials well and described it as if it were one of their favorites. sounds to me like adrienne feeds them well. all in all, if you find youself searching for a fine meal, and one that will not dissappoint, go to chef adriannes.
