a truly amazing dining experience. the location was a little hidden and offset. it was a beautiful low-key restaurant with no shortage of ambiance. the food was pricey but for a special occasion - perfect. the food was amazing !!! from 1-10 it was somewhere in the 20s, a hundred times what i was expecting. the table together ordered duck, filet mignon with au jus, lamb rack, and osso bucco. not one person had the smallest bit of criticism. juicy, tender, savory, perfectly cooked. even the bread and pesto was delicious. although we didn't think we'd make it to the desert, brownie deluxe and classic cheesecake were a must. the night was bliss , finishing withchefadriannes herself wishing my mom a happy birthday :) this is the type of establishment that makes you want to work harder just to revisit more often.

well, i first found out aboutchefadrienne's through instagram. i saw all the wonderful pictures of her food and read all of the comments as well about other people's great dinning experiences there as well. for weeks i had been hinting to my boyfriend that i wanted to go there and so for my birthday last night he surprised me by bringing me there. at first i was kind of surprised to find it in such a secluded location but i didn't let it deter me from experiencing the food that i had once read so many great things about. when my boyfriend and i walked in to the restaurant i found it to be quite dark inside. i figured okay, maybe she's going for a more romantic setting. when i finally ordered my food, which was the braised spare ribs with sweet mashed potatoes, i found the food to be very delicious. the meat was very tender and the sweet potatoes where whipped to an amazing fluffiness kind of like merengue but then this morning i wake up and my stomach is like a pot of boiling water. i found myself having to rush to the bathroom several times. i'm not sure if it was the main course or the dessert which was the passion fruit bread pudding. i did find that the dessert had kind of an acidity to it that i could not describe and it did taste kind of weird. i figured okay, maybe that's the flavor she was going for and so continued to eat it. i wish i had stopped there and then after the first taste of that dessert. i also found it quite weird that the servers would check up on us more than usual to ask if the food was okay or not. i'm wondering now how may people have left disappointed from there as well. i wish my experience atchefadrienne's would have been a better one but yet was left disappointed instead. i wish i would've listened to my boyfriend when he first commented on the location and setting of the place. he had ordered the lamb and was disappointed in that it didn't taste as good as he would've liked. to me they looked like a poor raw piece of meat. he even mentioned that his bbq tasted better than the foodchefadrienne prepared for us. he gave me a taste of his food and it had no flavor or spices added to it. all in all i was left disappointed and wished i would've had a better experience for my bday.

a little note tochefadrienne, don't let our bad experience deter you though from bettering yourself at what you love to do. take this and have it help you want to make yourself even better at what you do and who knows, maybe i'll give it another whirl later on down the road again and your food and the experience will be amazing. be blessed. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

chef adrianne is adorable, spunky and remarkably talented. she will cram so much flavor into your salivating mouth that it might be too full too even moan clearly. with the assistance of her just as cute female souschefegg, they titillated our eyes and palates all night long. in addition to these fabulous chefs we were also graced by nicole’s endearing presence throughout night. she was our incessantly beaming angel/waitress who possessed a demeanor and smile that induced sheer felicity...

culinary gold! amazing food!.chefadrianne's restaurant is an experience, the food is phenomenal and the service is great. i suggest you make a reservation, she is so popular everyone wants to eat at her restaurant. she is not in a prime "food real estate" location but she is worth the drive! for the full review with pictures check out idreamofspice.com and click eat like a local from the home page.

whenever i hear the words "maximum flavor", i can't help but think ofchefadrianne calvo, owner andchefatchefadrianne's vineyard restaurant and wine bar. i know you're probably thinking, "are you kidding me? that's a drive to the boondocks way out in kendall." all i have to say is..strap on the seat belt 'cause it's worth it.chefadrianne's vineyard restaurant and wine bar you have probably heard of her popular dark dining events held once a month at her restaurant. i've never done it but i hear it's quite the experience - suppressing your sense of sight with a blindfold while heightening your other senses as you bite into the unknown. however, i found that a meal atchefadrianne's, with or without the sense of sight, is a spectacular adventure. i recently visited her restaurant for the first time to attend a wine pairing dinner, and i walked out giddy and excited (and it wasn't the wine…not entirely).chefadrianne's signature sangrias i've talked to c

my husband and i are both chefs in the culinary field. i recently had a baby and am a stay at home mom. my husband is a kitchen manager and works 15hr shifts 5 days a week. we dont get a lot of opportunity to go out on dates and we had been reading aboutchefadrienne and we decided to go support our local "famous" chef. made reservations for tuesday nigbt at 8. the restsurant is very narcisistic. huge pictures ofchefabove the wine bar and award pics ofchefand with celebrities. we get it, youre setting us up for high standards. we ordered that nights spec app "open faced prawns with panko bread crumbs and miso butter" and the "pork wontons". what we received was not in fact prawns but regular butterflied shrimp. very disappointing. the truffle oil was so pungeant it over powered the shrimp app. the wontons however were extremely flavorful! we didnt complain in hopes that our entrees would be better. we ordered osso bucco and short rib: the flavor profiles are exactly identical!!!! two similar dishes done the same except one is with regulat mash and the other one is with sweet mashed potatoes. both had been drizzled with truffle oil and it killed the dish. the meats were not flavorful. its like they didnt finisb braising. a 24hr braise should have much more viscosity in the sauce and deep bold flavor. both our sauces were watery and bland. again, very disappointing. we finished off with dessert: creme brulee. first off, it was the first time i had eaten a creme brulee covered in powdered sugar. the whole reason is to see the bruleé part of it and evenness. after using the spoon to set aside the powder sugar we understood what had happened. the sugat wasnt burned evenly abd there was burned spot in the middle. it amazed us how this place could have missed so many details in their flavor profiles. maybe the hype is getting to chefs head. the portions are huge and every thing was lukewarm. probably sitting under the heat lamp too long. the only thing that was delicious were the wantons and the pomegranate sangria and thats because they were at the right temp and had 0 truffle oil!!!! that restaurant is truffle oil central. if you follow her on instagram youll see her finishing touch: truffle oil!!! too much hype. not going back again. youre a talentedchefbut keep an eye on your front of house and kitchen staff. they can make you or break you.

chef adrianne’s vineyard and wine bar
an evening of disappointments, i live in davie fl and i am a self proclaimed food lover my wife and i eat out an average of 5 times per week and we like to discover new and exciting places.
after hearing aboutchefadrianne’s restaurant we became excited to go and taste her wonderful creations whenever the subject of places to eat came up , her restaurant came up with great recommendations , but living in davie fl we were hesitant to drive that far to try a new place, but finally last night we took the trip and unfortunately even though the main course was excellent the whole experience was a disaster .
to start the wine list as put together by the wine clerk at publix all the wines offered were of the shelf wine that you could find on any given day in the publix shelf nothing special and nothing to brag about
for a place that bills them self as a vineyard and wine bar it left a lot to be desired , following the wine list i asked the waiter what were the most popular dishes that they served and he recommended the “ world famous osso buco” and he got me , i love osso buco and i did not need to hear anything more well after placing our order for 2 appetizers and 4 main dishes , as we were enjoying our bottle of wine 10 minutes later the waiter comes and announces that the osso buco was not available, needless to say this was not good, well i change to his next recommendation the short ribs and they were very good but living me with the feeling that i did not get what i wanted , but in dose not end there time was going by and here comes the main dish and no appetizers, well this was the culmination of a evening of disappointment , it is sad to say that even if the food was good the restaurant did not meet our expectation, anyone can have a bad night but in this highly competitive world you only get one chance to make a good first impression.

i hadn't used my passport in a few years and i had been looking for just the right trip. luckily, chefadrianne's monthly, dining in the dark, was coming up and i was able to dust off the passport, fill up my gas tank and head down to casa el carajo . this month's dining in the dark series featured tuscan cuisine, so i was definitely in luck.chefadrianne's vineyard restaurant and wine bar is actually located down in the pinecrest/ hammocks/ bfe area of town, right next to the tamiami airport. the restaurant and itschefhas generated a lot of buzz lately withchefadrianne's “maximum flavor” segment during nbc 6's live miami every thursday morning. this was my first time at the restaurant and my first time ever dining in the dark, so i went in with an adventurous spirit not knowing what to expect. this post has no pictures, because.. well.. i was blindfolded, duh! so you'll have to just take my word for it on this one and do without the visual food porn. we walked into the dimly lit

a great experience.. this cozy and romantic environment restaurant is a hit! the food is exquisite, the service couldn't be better. i was recommended by a friend that had previously eaten there and his only complaint was the extend of the wait time until the food was served. well, to disagree completely with my friends only complaint of the length of time my salad was in the table in exactly eleven minutes.
the salad was fresh, croutons were crunchy. my main coarse waschefadrianne's cod w/ sweet potato, this plate was in my table in 33 minutes after salad was served. the only thing that i can say of this plate is i died and went to heaven. the cod was so juicy and the flavor was just right, the sweet potato gave it a sweet taste to the dish but not too sweet. just right! my husband eat the fillet mignon and toasted goat cheese, this dish had a very good balance between the meat, the cheese and the mash potatoes. there is nothing negative that we have to say about this restaurant. for the future, for those people like my friend that don't like to wait; perhaps you are looking to eat in the wrong restaurant. if you want quality if i have to wait i will.

chef adrianne keep up the great work!
congrats on your success!

heaven in your mouth!!!. did i say heaven in your mouth?? oh my yes. went there this past friday 9/16 for our 44th anniversary. mentioned it was our anniversary when i made reservation and they had rose petals and candles on our table. awww how sweet. (by the way strongly recommend you make a reservation) lots of people waiting outside when we left. we were greeted immediately by the staff and ashley was our server. she was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and had many helpful recommendations. i had the fried goat cheese w/prosciutto and pear gel omg used the bread to lap up all of the sauce. my husband had the split pea soup holy cow i have never tasted anything like this one!! we used the bread again to lap up all of the sauce too. i had pork tenderloin for main course, over the top delicious and so tender, portion was huge. my husband had the salmon and he loved every bite, so fresh and tender. splurged and had dessert although had no room to have any but had the nutella/chocolate bread pudding w/vanilla ice cream. what a way to end a perfect meal. no need to travel to south beach for an upscale meal it is right here in our back yard. it truly is hidden in a strip mall but once you walk inside it is pure class from the decor, all of the staff and unbelieveable topcheffood. yes it is not cheap but made for a unbelieveable anniversary dinner. will for sure go back.

absolutely amazing. i planned a romantic evening for my boyfriend atchefadrienne's last night (saturday). i've heard wonders of the place and had been dying to try it. i made reservations for 9pm and told my bf to meet me there at 9:15 so i would have time to order for us. the lady on the phone said she could do an anniversary table where they have rose petals and candles on the table. i passed by at 6pm to see the place and pick the menu for later that night. the waitress was nicole and she was the absolute sweetest! she helped me come up with a nice meal selection for the night, though a little on the expensive side (but very well worth it). since i told her we're trying to save money, she helped me make a few changes and order about the same but from a 2 for $39 menu (which includes two entrée's & an appetizer). when i got there last night, nicole greeted me and sat me at the table. the entire staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. it is a very nice, cozy, and romantic ambiance. the table was so pretty! i was very excited. she asked if i wanted anything to be brought to the table and we decided to wait until he got there and she would start bringing things out. once he got there she gave us some time to greet and talk and rene brought us some bread with delicious pesto. nicole came to introduce herself and asked if i wanted her to put my roses in vase with water for me on the table, which was extremely sweet. she then brought the two glasses of sangria. i ordered the pomegranate (red) and passion fruit (white) sangria's and they were both delicious, we couldn't choose which one was the best. the white sangria is sweeter and citrusy while the red is sweet and smooth. then they brought the soup of the day, which was mushroom bisque. you can see and taste how fresh and hot (right out of the pot) it was! it had some pieces of crackers crumbled on the top middle of the soup and scallions. then they brought the slow roasted pork wontons, which were amazing (and i don't even like pork, i ordered them because my bf loves wontons and meat). it was 4 wonton chips with pieces of pork and other deliciousness like white crumbled cheese and a guava glaze. then for the main course we had a filet mignon with mashed potatoes (for him) and the brown sugar crusted wild alaskan salmon with potatoes in garlic and sweet chili aioli sauce. both dishes were magnificent (it was like an explosion of delicious flavors in your mouth). for dessert, i ordered the nutella bread pudding (which i'm not fond of bread pudding, but nicole wasn't either and recommended this one as the best she's ever had). and it was truly amazing! the only bread pudding i will eat! it was served with a vanilla ice cream scoop and drizzled with chocolate ganache. the entire night was magical and heavenly. everything we ate and tasted was amazing. my bf even ordered another round of both sangria's. and they are both very strong and delicious, so it'll sneak up on you. ☺ rene, nicole, and the whole staff were wonderful and i highly recommend this place to everyone i know. i'm an extremely picky person and my bf is a very picky eater as well and we were completely blown away by the amazingness of this place. the portions are sharable, but you can have leftovers if you don't share! we just had the leftovers for dinner tonight and it was wonderful! it is worth every penny! it's a peace of heaven in the middle of nowhere (where you'd least expect such a place). my new favorite place and a must go!!!

my anniversary. every year i choose a special restaurant for my husband and i to share our anniversary. this year, we chosechefadrianne's, after hearing about how wonderful it is from so many of our friends. wonderful would be an understatement for this place. our table waited for us with candlelight and real rose pedals. we opted for the housemade sangria which were the bomb. best sangria in miami. we had the filet mignon. they don't lie when they say 16oz filet. it's a giant steak. perfectly cooked. the only other time i had such a great steak was at bern's steakhouse in tampa. if you're looking for a bern's type steak dinner, come tochefadrianne's. we also had an amazing baked alaska dessert and thechefcame out to wish us a happy anniversary. thank you adrianne we won't forget our 16th wedding anniversary.
