after hearing about adrianne's for 2 years or more now, i finally made my way down there for my company's 1 year anniversary. it's been so long that i've heard people telling me you must go to adrianne's, you must try it but for one reason or another, i had never gone until last night. it's definetely off the beaten path but i can't decide if i like it better that its like that. if you have ever seen the movie mr. magorium's wonder emporium, this is like adrianne's wonder emporium of culinary magic. outside is an ugly rundown shopping strip and once you open the doors to adrianne's, it's like you are somewhere else. nicole, our server was pleasant and very discriptive of the specials making us baffled at which one to pick, they all sounded outstanding. i had this salmon that blew my mind. i've been everywhere eating the country one bite at a time. even to all of rick moonen's restaurants, and this salmon was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, with the perfect accompaniments. adrianne give such generous portions that its almost impossible to finish it all by yourself, a quality that i have yet to find in other chef restaurants. i had seen adrianne in nbc a while back with her maximum flavor thing and thought to myself, maximum flavor? yeah right.! maximum flavor is right. i have never tasted something this good and i am not that young if you know what i mean.

my visit to a surprise!. being a food and wine freak from l.a. i had the distinct pleasure of being taken to adrianne's by the friends we were staying with in miami. the food was nothing short of spectacular. from the delicate and distinct flavor of the wontons and the perfection of the mussels (i'd go back for these alone) to the astonishing osso bucco which was not only an enormous portion but was exquisite and right on the money with the flavor profile. the service was knowledgeable and excellent and the room more than adequate. i don't know when i'll be next back in miami but adrianne will be at the top of my list on my return. i can't wait!!!

adrianne has a real gift. god bless adrianne. her food is great. what a talent! a chef that knows what she's doing. the restaurant is the best restaurant in miami for sure and in the top ten in the country possibly. don't expect a fancy shmancy location but i think thats part of the charm at adriannes. the element of surprise. you don't expect to find this kind of food in this location nor the decor. the restuarant is warm and romantic. and then there's adrianne herself. she's just as beautiful in person as she is on tv. a bit tiny even in her chef clogs, makes you wonder how she;s able to cook for so many people so fast. she's got a smile that could light up the town like in a taylor swift song. all im saying is if you're looking for a real nice restaurant experience, go to adrianne's. i just had the wood planked fish and its was yuuuuuummmmmm!

urge to go again. my wife and i dined at chef adrianne's last weekend and i cannot wait to go back this weekend. it is the first restaurant that i find myself with an urge to go again so soon. miami needed a place like this. if you're in the mood for really good food, and i mean really good food? chef adrianne's is a must.

superb food. there is one reason and one reason only to dine at chef adrianne's restaurant and that is for exquiste, sumptous food that is very rare in kendall and even rarer in this neck of the woods. each dish has the chef's personal touch and signature to it. you will not easily find food prepared with such flair and spirit in miami. the servers are well trained and have sampled most if not all of the dishes. if you are a foodie and can recognize and appreciate exciting and creative dishes coming out of the kitchen...and you are patient as the food prep can be time consuming... this is a diamond in the rough.

the box asks me what i think of chef adrianne's?. the contrite little square seems quite small when having to describe a place such as this. i had the mussels and osso bucco. i have never in my life had such great mussels. are they all supposed to taste this good? or is this a magic touch of chef adrianne herself? i have heard infinite times in many different places about this osso bucco. honestly, how good could it be? after having four of my friends tell me the same thing on different occassions, i had to see for myself. it was great. this dish you can tell that a lot of time and effort goes into it. the saying "falls off the bone" definetly applies here. the restaurant is one of the top eateries on the east coast that i have ever been to.

the food is amazing. i have traveled all over the world and when i say i know miami is no food mecca, its the truth. miami wears a sort of facade of foodie when in fact it falls short to new york, new orleans, california, chicago, etc. nonetheless, i have come to find this incredible restaurant with an incredible chef. while i do agree that the location is a bit off, (its nowhere near anything you may recognize or note for being miami-esque) its an exceptional dining experience. for once in my 12 years in miami, i have wanted to lick the plate and have looked around and have seen the same reaction amongst other diners as well. i ask myself, where have i eaten lately that i have actually wanted to lick the plate? you too might agree that the answer is: nowhere. you must give chef adrianne's a shot. her food is exceptional. i was there this saturday and i was priviledged enough to have the wild mahi mahi with charred truffled brussel sprouts. its was succulent, perfectly cooked, lemony, buttery. the mashed potatoes were light and creamy perfectly indulgent. almost at the end of my meal, i tilt my head up to see this petite, red headed beauty, with such a humle happy glow, say hello. i could not believe my eyes. it was adrianne herself to thank us for coming to eat. i still can't decide if the dessert was better or her smile. i have seen her on television many times and have pondered if she is really that sweet and funny in person. she really is that sweet and funny. god bless that beautiful talent. the world would be a better place if there were more chefs like her. the service was friendly and curteous. two things that you seldom find in miami. the servers knew the specials well and described it as if it were one of their favorites. sounds to me like adrienne feeds them well. all in all, if you find youself searching for a fine meal, and one that will not dissappoint, go to chef adriannes.

um really? yes, i meant it.. sites like these are meant to share experiences and improve services based on consumer reviews. i gave an accurate and comprehensive account of my evening at chef adrianne's.

i only want the best for adrianne and commend her entrepreneurial spirit. hooray. now, let's get real. no one is rushing to compare her to paul bocuse. the food was good but not worth the wait and subpar service. she should appreciate the candor and positively use the constructive criticism to improve her services. maybe one day she'll be above average. until then, it's a glorified macaroni grill.

oh tman- if your taste in food is as bad as your grammar, then your review speaks for itself. i'll take it with a grain of salt. please don't hold the two hours of my life wasted at the restaurant against me. i know i'll never get those back. they would have been put to better use standing in line at the dmv.

um really?. so i just got home from dinner at chef adrianne's with my parents. the restaurant was recommended to my mother by a friend of hers.

as you walk up to the "vineyard restaurant" aptly situated in a strip mall, you're greeted by the warmth of a blue and red open sign hanging on the window. we were promptly seated and our beverage order was taken. take a moment to reread the previous sentence because that was the last time the words prompt, swift, speedy, quick or any derivative there of will be used in this review.

when it came time to order, our peppy but attentive waitress fumbled the specials a couple of times. i ordered the mini lamb chops . they were out. i ordered the entree lamb chops. they were out. i ordered the crab cake appetizer. you guessed it; they were out. so for those of you keeping track at home that's two out of their eight appetizers and at least one of their entrees unavailable at 8:00 pm on a saturday night.

i finally settled on the roasted organic california eggplant appetizer. i'm sure it would have been great had it not been overloaded with goat cheese and served in a pool of balsamic vinegar sprinkled with greens. an hour and a half after we were seated, they graced us with our entrees. the wait was frustrating but perhaps a needed recovery for my taste buds which were suffering from an acidic balsamic invasion. the entrees were fabulous and the portions generous. really. i tasted the osso bucco and the 12 oz filet mignon. both dishes were served with perfectly creamy mashed potatoes. we were sufficiently satisfied with our meals and boldly ordered dessert: mascarpone cheesecake and the creme brule. both were satisfactory; good but could have been better.

now that we've gone over the food, let's talk ambiance and decor. after all, we had plenty of time to look around. as welcoming as a neon open sign may sound there were more delightlfully lackluster "art" pieces inside. your usual mass-produced and charmless landscapes found at kirkland's or half off at marshalls. one sign was particularly humorous and read: "wines selection." i felt it embodied my feelings for the restaurant: nice try but not quite the real deal. when your eyes weren't fixated on the wall hangings they would drift to one of the two flat-screen tvs loudly playing michael bubble in concert. that's exactly what i'm looking for in a restaurant touted as a wine bar -- a dvd on loop. who needs conversation?

i think alex perez gave the best and most accurate review of this place. i'm truly surprised at the other exaggeratedly positive comments. my guess is that adrianne has a few family members and friends with a lot of time on their hands. so- if you like overpriced delicious food, have a couple of hours to waste and an affinity for cheap decor give this place a try.

overall thought: it's trying to hard to be something it's not.
recommendation: make your service as good as your food and tone the arrogance down a notch.

spectacular food. i have never eaten such good food as i have eaten at chef adrianne's. the feel, the vibe, the ambience is great. the service is good. the prices are good. i agree with the review below me, the 2/$39 is fantastic. i had that on tuesday last week and was astounded at how great the food and the amount of food for that price. way to go adrianne's.

uhhh, needs much improvement. while its tough to argue that the food, the quality, the preperation, presentation and all important taste are anything but fantastic. the service leaves quite a bit to be desired and falls miserably short. unorganized at best, rude and demeaning at worst.

as for the wine list, and i use the term loosely. for a restaturant to use the term "vineyard" in it's name and be napa themed is a bold statement and you'd expect a wine list to match. you'll be sorely dissappointed. the wine list is peppered with bottles you can find at the supermarket, and priced at a premium of course. at the very least you'd expect wines from napa that are not in distribution or a broader list priced more intelligently.

the worst part, if you order wine by the glass prepare for pot luck as the wine is kept with a cork in the bottle on the counter. no telling how long its been there and how much flavor has been lost. suggestion - invest in some sort of wine preservation system that allows you to pour by the glass, many restaurants do. so bring your own and be prepared to pay $15 for the priviledge (why? all they do is pour - not a decanter in sight).

sadly, if only they would pay as much attention to the wine list and the service as they do the food, she would have a truly inspiring restaurant - she does not!

a gem in west kendall. chef adrianne's offers an ambitious menu... an assortment of contemporary french, italian and southwestern cuisine that is ever changing. critics would say it's the mark of a young chef, but the dishes are executed well.

you can't go wrong with the filet - a prime cut of beef that comes with a heaping pile of buttery mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked green beans. the pork tenderloin is also excellent.

i wouldn't recommend the desserts. chef adrianne is recognized for her mango bread pudding, but i found it to be a dense, overly sweet, sticky mess. it's unfortunate that she pulled the nutella wontons off the menu... they were sinfully delicious.
