love the fried chicken ...,. we have been coming here for 10 years ... love the addition of the fried chicken .... it's great !!! also ... debbie is fantastic .. she always has a smile for everyone !

great food & great service!. my wife and i met for lunch in the middle of both of our busy schedules. not only was the food great, but the waitress debbie was prompt in bringing our drinks and taking our order. the kitchen did a great job of getting the food out fast. (less than 10 min). had a great lunch with my wife! thanks!

yum -- fresh and great service too!. the pulled chicken salad is delicious. it is apparent that it is freshly made by the quality of the product served. the service is fantastic - debby was particularly helpful and efficient. don't miss this spot!

absolutely delish!. we live in indian harbour beach & decided to get take-out from charlie & jake's tonight. the pulled pork, black-eyed peas, and turnip greens were soooo good & believe it or not, so were the potato skins (served w/plenty of bacon & sour cream). we called ahead & everything was ready when we got there....thanks to debbie!

been coming to charlie and jakes since the 90's and it only seems to get better. the pulled pork sandwich on garlic toast is my favorite lunch item. taylor has been my server for ~2 years now. she knows my order and has it to the kitchen before i'm at my table. check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

good food and service. just had dinner at charlie and jakes beachside......we had ribs and chicken. both were good and our server erin was great! place was hopping. great little spot!

i have high standards for bbq and charlie & jakes falls way short. the sliced beef is bottom round, which isn't the greatest for smoking to begin with. turkey was over cooked. ribs were good, but none of the food had any smoke flavor and required to be drown in bbq sauce whichwas also pretty bland. i won't be back.

best barbeque you'll ever find! i've tried every meat and each is as smoked and flavorable as the next. the sweet southern tea is divine while all the sides compliment exceptionally! the pleasant service tended to my every need with a caring attitude. i would come here every day to eat if i could!

i'd eat here everyday if i could!! best bbq in melbourne all tied in with exceptional customer service!! i'd say you cant get any better than that! try the fried chicken on thursday's it's a must have!

don't want to eat anywhere else. best food i have ever had. the ribs are fall off the bone, the pork is the best. smoked prime rib i could eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and never get tired of it. they have lots of different sides to choose from and takes you almost 5 minutes to decide which ones you want. the wait staff is super friendly and never miss a beat. even when the whole dining room in full! don't be confused by the posers trying to be like this one over the bridge but this one is the best, above all the rest. trust me, give this place a try. you'll love it and find your self coming back almost every day
