great service! we always try and get taylor. she is one of the best waitress' we've ever had. the food at charlie and jakes is never a disappointment. it keeps us coming back. tonight theribswere so tended and full of flavor. the meat literally fell off the none.

beach side charlie and jakes is not the same. i have to say my last experience at charlie and jakes on beachside was terrible.
theribswere tuff,,not falling off the bone like it use to be.. the rub they used was to spicy hot
the beans tasted like campbell.s pork and beans with some of there pulled pork in it.
there chicken was dry. what happened?
i use to go frequently. but since it has been under new ownership he has changed everything that made charlie and jakes great!
what happened to charlie and jakes when you couldn't even get in the door. you need to get that back and go back to basis.

great meat!. vacationing from new england. wanted to try a little bit of everything . got the mini combo with pulled pork,ribsand pulled turkey. loved the pork and ribs.. turkey was good but a bit to fatty for my taste. hush puppies ... yum! homemade baked beans delicious! will def come back 1 more time before heading home.

good food and service. just had dinner at charlie and jakes beachside......we hadribsand chicken. both were good and our server erin was great! place was hopping. great little spot!

i have high standards for bbq and charlie & jakes falls way short. the sliced beef is bottom round, which isn't the greatest for smoking to begin with. turkey was over cooked.ribswere good, but none of the food had any smoke flavor and required to be drown in bbq sauce whichwas also pretty bland. i won't be back.

don't want to eat anywhere else. best food i have ever had. theribsare fall off the bone, the pork is the best. smoked prime rib i could eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and never get tired of it. they have lots of different sides to choose from and takes you almost 5 minutes to decide which ones you want. the wait staff is super friendly and never miss a beat. even when the whole dining room in full! don't be confused by the posers trying to be like this one over the bridge but this one is the best, above all the rest. trust me, give this place a try. you'll love it and find your self coming back almost every day

we liked it--real smoked meats and excellent sides. we had high expectations because of all the good reviews and made a special trip to have lunch. we liked it, didn't love it but the service and the prices and choices could not be beat.

my husband and i split the charlie's combo and got ribs, beef and pulled pork. the pulled pork had great smoke flavor but was a little dry; some of the house bbq sauce from the squeeze bottle and it was tastier. husband thought theribswere the most flavorful; i agreed. they came off the bone nicely and were tinged pink from the hickory smoker. the beef was tender but not very flavorful. the sides were excellent: husband and 10 yr old devoured the mashed potatoes and gravy. the texas garlic toast was great, the creamy cole slaw was great. hush puppies were hot, fresh and large--because of their size, they were a little dense to the bite. son had chicken tenders and fries which seemed about par for the course. (he filled up on the fresh mash and garlic toast.)

overall, we'd give this place a thumbs up. low key and authentic with friendly service, just the way we like it when we come to visit satellite beach! next time we will try the key lime pie which they tout as made with real key limes.

skip the chains and fast food and try a real, home-down restaurant next time you are on the space coast.

yum!. pork, turkey, chicken andribswere all amazing! all meats were very juicy, smoky, and flavorful. my boyfriend, 18 month old and i immensely enjoyed our hush puppies and fried pickles too. it was so busy we had to sit on the patio but it was nice out. baked beans were extra yummy. friendly staff. will totally be back soon!

first time visit. just tried c&j's for first time on vacation with friends. ordered the pork,ribsand chicken. everything was fantastic! sides were great as well. would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

ribs!!!!!!!!!. truly the bestribsever! i am addicted to theribsat this place. they are so good and fall off the bone. if you like ribs, go to charlie and jakes.

love it!. a fabulous manager & her efficient, kind staff offer superior service for superior barbeque. we love it all - pulled pork, turkey, beef,ribs- accompanied by the best beans, coleslaw and hush puppies around. both eating in or taking our, we've been fans for many years.

literally falling off the bone tender. my family and i went to dustin's barbecue on wickham rd for many years before starting to go to charlie and jake's. i would like to invent a time machine to go back and tell myself to come here instead. not that dustin's is terrible, mind you, but the prices and meat here are so much better, and they have some truly authentic sides.

the restaurant is situated next to the texas roadhouse, but any mouthwatering aromas in that general vicinity definitely come from the smoker behind charlie and jake's.

i had never before experiencedribsthat were literally fall off the bone tender before. the food here is spectacular, and incredibly well-priced. none of the sides i've gotten so far have been disappointing, but the hush puppies are definitely a standout. they're worth getting as an entire side order. i highly recommend this restaurant. spend your money at a wonderful local place rather than one of the giant mediocre chains.
