fresh fresh fresh. tried a couple dishes with friends from sesame balls to pad thai to spicy squid and everything was so good and fresh. yeah the service is spotty but as long as the food is this good i can deal with it. i can't wait to go back. be sure to check the specials board on the way in as it had some great looking dishes not on the menu....

best thai i have ever had. one word...legit. you know a thai place is good when their pad thai is incredible, and for chang's thai their pad thai speaks for itself. i have also had their pad see ew (chicken and beef) and it is killer. their panang curry is the best curry i have every had in my life. my wife and i love this place. great food, great service, at a very reasonable price. a word to the future customers, if you i would equate their 4 stars of spice (out of 10 possible) to a 7. i now just get a little ole 2 stars of spice. try this place, you will love it. also, get their sticky rice and mango desert.

a little known treasure. i was skeptical but after hearing from real thai food lovers rave about this place i decided to give it a try.

it was an absolute delight.

rule #1: don't eat off the buffet. that isn't where you find the quality dishes. order from the menu.

rule #2: they offer spiciness on levels 1-10, if you like spicy food order a 7. if you are gluten for punishment you can request some dishes up to 15.

the staff was friendly and very courteous and refills came quickly. our waitress even took the time to explain some of the dishes and spices so if don't be afraid to ask.

the egg thai pad was wonderful. great flavors, texture, and enough food for 2 people. try the meing kham (its under the specialties section), its a mix of flavors that burst in your mouth and the roasted cocunut alone is worth it. eat a few as apps and then save some for dessert.

rule #2: they offer spiciness on levels 1-10, if you like spicy food order a 7. if you are gluten for punishment you can request some dishes up to 15.

looking forward to returning and trying the rest of the menu.

highly recommend a visit.

best thai in central arkansas. for years i've lamented the lack of a good thai restaurant in little rock. if i wanted a thai fix, i'd have to go to jacksonville...not anymore! not only is chang thai closer to lr, it's better than the place i used to go in jacksonville!

three members of our party had the buffet, and two of us ordered off the menu (but we ordered a lot so we could share with the others and have leftovers to take home). my not-so-fond-of-thai-food husband said the buffet was actually pretty good. i took a look at it, and it actually did feature thai food (as opposed to some places that serve thai off the menu, but chinese on the buffet).

off the menu, we ordered the pla sam rod, which is a whole fried talapia, covered in a sweet and spicy sauce. it was crispy, with a flaky, moist interior, and the sauce was just the right combination of spicy and sweet. we also ordered the egg wrap pad thai with prawns, and it was your standard (but tasty!) pad thai presented in an omelet shaped into a bowl - beautiful presentation! next was the green curry chicken, and it was some of the best i've ever had. succulent pieces of white meat chicken with vegetables in coconut milk. finally, there was the tom-kha, which is a coconut milk soup with lime. we got it with tofu. i only got a spoon full of it, but what i had was great!

for every dish, they ask you how spicy you want it on a scale of 1-10. our group happened to really like spicy food, so we ordered almost everything 5 or above. the waitress asked if we were really sure, and we told her to bring on the spice! but if spice bothers you, go for a lower number.

service was good, but they did run out of tea while we were there. how do you manage that?

the only thing that would make me happier is if they opened a little rock location!

very good!. everything our group ordered off the menu was either good or fantastic. the curry is especially tasty. the hot and sour soup was not good, however.

good thai restaurant!. small place in sherwood with a buffet (or could have ordered off menu). hot and sour soup appeared to be of the canned variety seen at other chinese restaurants - too thick. their coconut/lemon grass soup was spectacular! also the curry and dumplings and spring rolls were excellent. my husband liked the wings. service was very fast (never had an empty glass) and the staff nice and accommodating. will definitely come here again and maybe try the menu food.

real taste of thailand. the meing kham transports me to thailand with the first taste. the red curry comes close. wish it was closer to my side of town.
