chang thai & asian cuisine

we found this hidden gem a few weeks ago and have since started eating here almost every week. we have tried almost everything on the menu and we love it all! theserviceis a little slow so don’t rush. relax, enjoy your company, and eat some great food!!!

this family friendly restaurant is among the best in the area. the chefs cook everything fresh and spice it to order. theserviceis always friendly. the prices are a little higher than one might expect at first but quality is not cheap.

everything we had was freshly made and delicious. i enjoyed the spice level four, although i think i might kick it up a notch next time.servicewas good but, don't go in hungry. there was a bit of wait. i guess you can't rush the kind cooking they do. would recommend. please don't ask for zero spice level.

marginal at best. having grown up out of state i miss the variety of restaurants that los angles has. when i tried the bangkok thai (in the river market) in the river market i was so happy to have thai again. then when i found chang thai, located only a mile from my home, i was thrilled. i was looking forward to trying this restaurant so much i went twice, in order to give it another shot after a disappointing first visit. unfortunately i was disappointed both time. while i did think the food was marginal, the quantity and quality is lacking. i felt that it seemed like the food was made using only the cheapest ingredients, and there was more rice than anything. while theservicewas fine, i don't plan on eating here again. like i have read elsewhere in reviews of this place, it dose remind me of a cheap chinese restaurant.

fresh fresh fresh. tried a couple dishes with friends from sesame balls to pad thai to spicy squid and everything was so good and fresh. yeah theserviceis spotty but as long as the food is this good i can deal with it. i can't wait to go back. be sure to check the specials board on the way in as it had some great looking dishes not on the menu....

good thai restaurant!. small place in sherwood with a buffet (or could have ordered off menu). hot and sour soup appeared to be of the canned variety seen at other chinese restaurants - too thick. their coconut/lemon grass soup was spectacular! also the curry and dumplings and spring rolls were excellent. my husband liked the wings.servicewas very fast (never had an empty glass) and the staff nice and accommodating. will definitely come here again and maybe try the menu food.

went a few weeks ago with the husband. ordered steamed gyoza, beef pad thai, and beef salad.servicewas amazing, drinks were always kept fulland icy, and the food was delicious and spicy.
