cavalli pizzeria

i enjoyed my second visit to cavalli pizza. the pizza is tasty and the service was very good as well. this restaurant also has a nice patio area in the back. the patio area has a view of adriatica village and would be agreatplace to dine on a pretty day. while this pizzeria is very good and probably my favorite in mckinney, i am not sure that i would put it in my top three collin county pizza joints. if you are in mckinney and want an authentic neapolitan pizza joint, you cannot go wrong by giving this place a try.

i find cavalli's to be consistent in quality and service.greatback patio, too. love the irving salad and marg pizza. we've also used them to cater a large party. their mobile pizza oven was a huge hit.

extraordinary. well i'm not sure what other people look for when they go out for pizza, but my wife and i look for crust. pizza is all about the crust. after that it is the quality of the minimal toppings you put on the pizza. if you are looking for a dominos double cheese, double sauce, 3x pepperoni this is not the place for you. if you, on the other hand are looking for some of the best authentic italian pizza that you can get in the metroplex, then this is one of two places that has it. the crust was perfect, made from 00 flour, aged for days, cooked for 90 seconds, with san marzano tomatos, a fresh mozarella. what more can i say. the pizza passes the flop test with ease, unlike another vpn place in deep ellum where the even minimalistic toppings end up on the plate. i can't say enough about this place. if you want the real thing, this is the place to go. if you are looking for something other thangreatpizza, leave the place for me.

overrated.. had high hopes going in. something about it just wasn't thatgreatto me. i understand, different strokes etc... i will say this: the service was fantastic. check it out for yourself, you might like it.

great place, went last night they had live music,greatfood, attentive staff and wonderful housemade sangria!

eh its pizza. i agree with the guy about the staff but thin pizza won't stay hot long. they need a more professional staff. i saw a lot of teenagers. as for the lady about negative reviews....thats what reviews are for!!!!! if they were all good reviews then it wouldn't be a review.

as for me the food was decent. i mean what can you really do with pizza??? dough sauce and toppings. i hope they do well though because mckinney needs more restaurants. i just wish adriatica was more diverse than more pizza ugh.

as italian food goes and pizza, i think italian garden beats this place easily.

edit : this petunia lady has voted down every pizza place and has only reviewed cavalli restaurants!!!! she also voted down all of her neighbors. it's obvious she either works for cavallis or is an owner. voting down businesses next to you? shameful. if i owned a restaurant i would want the places around me to do well as it would be good for my business. just look at petunia's profile and her votes/reviews.

back for the third time and the wait staff knows us.greatservice always a full cup very important in my book. food is consistently good.

this place is amazing. grew up in europe and this pizza tastes just like it does in europe. also very very good salads and caprese.

has the feel of san antonio's dough but not quite there.greatcrust, friendly (maybe overly so) staff, and overall tasty pies.
