excellent!!! my husband and i had our first "catch" experience for our anniversary dinner. the food was amazing and theservicewas impeccable.

loved it!. we had been trying to get here for awhile and the food andserviceexceeded our expectations. the soft shell crab was wonderful and so was the salmon.

we eat here every time we come to nearby topsail beach. the food is always fresh and delicious. theserviceis slow but who cares when you're on vacation. my daughter always has the sweet potato salad but the rest of us try something different and we haven't been disappointed yet.

horrible experience. attempted to try catch tonight for the first time. excited to try the special menu for restaurant week.servicewas bad. the bartender was trying to be a waiter. had to repeat our order multiple times. took over 45 minutes to get a salad and chicken satay that was not impressive. watched multiple tables seated after us get their meals and desserts. still no dinner or even acknowledgement feom the staff. finally was able to get the attention of a waitress to hear the excuse that thet were really busy with two menus. she went to the kitchen to check then never came back to us. after another 15 minute wait we asked for our check. that took forever. so 26 bucks for a glass of wine, crappy salad and satay. no apologies. horrible communication. will never be back and will not recommend to anyone.

great food and cozy atmosphere. my wife and i dined at catch last week and were pleasantly surprised. the décor of cityscapes was amazing and the food was stellar as well. i had the soft shell crabs and my wife had the crab cakes, which she is still raving about. the waitress andservicewere excellent and she recited the night's specials flawlessly. we will definitely be returning and this will probably be our "go to" spot for date night!!

exquisite food, excellent service. i went to catch tonight for my father's birthday dinner. the food was amazing. mom and i had the crab cakes and dad had the scallops. we cleaned our plates! i can't wait to go back. there are so many things on the menu i want to try. catch is my new go to restaurant for special occasions.

great food!. we ate at catch with a group of 15 and no one was disappointed. the appetizers, entrees and desserts were delicious and theservicewas spot on. the only negative was that it was over priced. otherwise, a grand time was had by all.

excellent food.serviceok. sweet potato salad was awesome. scallops excellent as well. second visit an both times were great. will definitely be back.

simply, ahhhmazing. catch has, by far, the best seafood entrees i have ever eaten. however, don't dismiss his talents when it comes to preparing meat dishes. his pork nam sad or beef nam sad appetizer is ridiculously well prepared, and dances on your tongue. doesn't hurt when they grow their own hydroponic bib lettuce!!! the tempura fried scallops with lobster raviolis were to die for. they only had them on special once, but those are the best scallops i have ever eaten. the presentation is beautiful. the chef pays a lot of attention to what is going out on the plate. the waiters take the time to precisely tell you everything that is included for daily specials, and this is not an easy task. the ceviche changed my entire view on ceviche. it was the perfect start to a delicious meal. the decor is impecable, theserviceis outstanding. the draft beers are amazing (try the good vibes, it's local!). oh, one last suggestion, the shrimp n grits with chorizoo :)

incredible food. the owner/chef is on this season of bravo's "top chef" and he makes amazing tasting creations.serviceis great too.

not worth the hype.. my wife and i had been looking forward to dining at catch for some time. went for dinner on a monday night and it was not a good experience. our server was friendly, and seemed to have a good handle on the menu and specials, but theserviceitself was spotty and very, very slow. waited over an hour for our entrees and when they arrived i was not impressed. i got the black angus filet and it was butterflied (looked like it was done during cooking to speed the process) and dry. certainly not worth the $36.95 price.. i felt like i had just been robbed. my wife got the crab cakes and they were ok but not great, have had way better at other less expensive restaurants. then it came time to pay the bill... waited 12 to 15 minutes after our table was cleared to have our check delivered, another 10 minutes for them to retrieve the payment and 10 more minutes to get my receipt. not a good way to make a first impression. $75 dollars later i really regretted the decision to go to catch.. overall i would not recommend this restaurant. overpriced, slow service, over-rated food.

fantastic food & superb service. what more could you ask for? the food was amazing - perfectly portioned and priced, and theservicewas stellar. came in for the first time and left feeling like a regular. thank you everyone for making my birthday celebration that much sweeter! : )

top notch seafood!!!!!!. one of the few places in wilmington that uses fresh tastes and fresh herbs and spices. every dish has so many tastes in one but they work together so well! great environment. greatserviceand even better food. perfect place to spend an evening with your family. 2 thumbs up!!!
