i lovecatchrestaurant :).catchrestaurant is the best seafood restaurant in wilmington, nc. the food is delicious, and on top of that, fresh!!! it is worth the wait. oh, and if they turned you away at 5:25 because they opened at 5:30, so what? just wait 5 mins!!! its not that horibble! keith rhodes is def. not a jerk. hes the nicest guy ive ever met!!!

awesome...as expected. welcoming and accommodating upon our entry. very busy, my wife and i were offered a spot at the bar. the bartender told us he would be right with us, which i appreciate....soon thereafter the best bloody i have ever had. the special did not disappoint: snapper put together fresh, yummy and healthy- comfortably full, did not want to leave.catchnot only understands food, the concept is methodical: deliberate and conscientious, with impeccable execution- from the kitchen unto the servers.

horrible experience. attempted to trycatchtonight for the first time. excited to try the special menu for restaurant week. service was bad. the bartender was trying to be a waiter. had to repeat our order multiple times. took over 45 minutes to get a salad and chicken satay that was not impressive. watched multiple tables seated after us get their meals and desserts. still no dinner or even acknowledgement feom the staff. finally was able to get the attention of a waitress to hear the excuse that thet were really busy with two menus. she went to the kitchen to check then never came back to us. after another 15 minute wait we asked for our check. that took forever. so 26 bucks for a glass of wine, crappy salad and satay. no apologies. horrible communication. will never be back and will not recommend to anyone.

great food and cozy atmosphere. my wife and i dined atcatchlast week and were pleasantly surprised. the décor of cityscapes was amazing and the food was stellar as well. i had the soft shell crabs and my wife had the crab cakes, which she is still raving about. the waitress and service were excellent and she recited the night's specials flawlessly. we will definitely be returning and this will probably be our "go to" spot for date night!!

we had a great first time experience atcatchlast night. both fish entrees we ordered, grouper & mahi, were prepared beautifully. i particularly enjoyed my side item of cheddar - jalapeño polenta. ask for tameka; she is helpful, friendly & very pleasurable waitress.

what a great place!. this was our first time to thecatchand our waiter erica (you should ask for her) helped guide us through the menu and pick some terrific dishes with wines to match. the spicy, crispy beef lettuce wraps were unbelievable. they exploded with flavor. we also had the crab cakes (worthy of all the awards they have won) and the seared tuna, which was a fabulous piece of fish properly seasond and perfectly seared. i travel 45-50 weeks a year and have to eat most of my meals in restaurants. thecatchserved some of the best food i have had this year. i may live 150 miles away, but i will be back soon.

our favorite restaurant~. my husband and i agree that our food atcatchlast friday night was the best we've had in a long time. this was our second time eating there and both times it was awesome. erica, our server was so knowledgeable about the menu and the specials, and answered all of our questions. i love that they have so many specials and they memorize the menu instead of reading it off a piece of paper~ (very impressive ....)
i like the atmosphere...not too crowded and not too big. the lighting and the decor was just right for a date night out.
we started with the best mussels we've ever had and in fact i wanted to drink the broth out of the bowl, but maintained my dignity none the less....
the mussels were such a hit that we decided to go with appetizers, soup and salad so we could try a few things. (although the entrees were very enticing)
the oysters were delicious and the trout soup was also incredible. the flavors combined with the presentation was phenomenal. truly the best night out in a long time! we both agree that this is the new favorite and we will be going back as much as possible. we didn't have room for dessert, but i'm looking forward to trying one of the many homemade specialties.
and erica , our server rocked. she was personable, friendly and so knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients.

exquisite food, excellent service. i went tocatchtonight for my father's birthday dinner. the food was amazing. mom and i had the crab cakes and dad had the scallops. we cleaned our plates! i can't wait to go back. there are so many things on the menu i want to try.catchis my new go to restaurant for special occasions.

great food!. we ate atcatchwith a group of 15 and no one was disappointed. the appetizers, entrees and desserts were delicious and the service was spot on. the only negative was that it was over priced. otherwise, a grand time was had by all.

we love the food but the room leaves us cold.catchis in a small strip mall so the entrance isn't great either. we've been to lunch three times and loved the food but cannot imagine going for dinner, just too cold. and the chairs are hard.

please go....it's a food experience. some people eat to live and others live to eat. i'm probably the later, i love seeing what people can create w/ food, show me something new and exciting. i'll try anything, if i don't like it well then it's probably b/c it has beets in it hahaha...grody!

this restaurant showed me that chefs are still out there creating food experiences for people who are willing to try it. i'm so in love w/ everything on this menu....you get what you pay for folks, and this is worth laying down some cash for, trust me. you won't be disappointed.

i don't even remember what i had, some creation of the chef's, but it blew my socks off. just enough flavor to make you say omg but nothing overwhelming that was covered in thick sugary sauces or condiments....just good clean full flavor food at it's best. i will certainly be back.

no clue what the lower rating is for.... i went to the location off market, by the harley dealer....i'd like to describe this better but i just moved here. my gps took me around my head to scratch my %#@ but i was determined to find it, i'm glad i did!

i just moved here from another coastal town, my favorite place there was also a restaurant calledcatchso of course i wanted to try this one. i was not disappointed. everything from service, specials, menu, originality, promptness, and more pleased me.

i'll definitely be going back. the chef even came out and asked how everythig was.

dessert special was bacon caramel ice cream, holy cow.....party in my mouth!! excitement! i heart bacon, in any way shape or form, so i was very appreciative someone figured out how i could incorporate it into all my daily meals hahaha.

i went to dine atcatchfor dinner tonight and the food was awesome!!! i had the calamari app for first course and chowder, my husband got grouper and i got the tuna special. if you happen to go get the tuna!!! i also had dessert. i think it was called "chocolate fantasy" which i heard was made by a local pastry chef. i will def. be back!!! this experience was worth every penny.
