catch is wilmington seafood!. if you want seafood in wilmington then you must visit catch! kieth has captured the essence of low country cooking. catch is the best place in wilmington to find fresh local caught shrimp and fish, bar none.
try to not go during the busy nights, but go when kieth has some time to work his magic and make you a special dish. kieth, thanks for taking care of my family and friends!

worst experience in my 67 years!!. went to wilmington, last week, looked on urban spoon, saw a great menu, good prices. went, were asked at 5:40 did we have reservations. the menu, was nothing like on urban spoon, prices were sky high. after we ordered, there was hardly anything on the plate. we joked we would have to hit mickey dees afterward. there were three of us, we never really had a waiter or waitress, but we left sizable tip, due to bill being over 80. never had i ever had such a disappointing experience, with a review in urban spoon. also this place in a very small strip mall, was very hard to find. very very upset!!

when you dine at catch, you are in for an exquisite culinary experience because chef keith rhodes was named the 2011 best chef of the southeast, he was a nc james beard semifinalist, and has been on top chef . gwyneth paltrow visited catch in july 2012 for a cooking lesson with keith rhodes. to read about her experience and see more photos, visit her curated site called “goop” . she also gave kudos to catch’s “mixologist”, richard watson, who whipped up a cucumber tequila cocktail for her. gf menu: no. what we ate: pan-roasted nc black sea bass filet from the daily menu and pan-roasted organic salmon from the regular menu how to order it:   we appreciated the descriptive list of ingredients on the menu at catch. the menu also helpfully notes, “all food is prepared to order”. let your server know that you will be dining gluten-free. the servers at catch are very accommodating and want to help you find something both safe and delicio

we eat here every time we come to nearby topsail beach. the food is always fresh and delicious. the service is slow but who cares when you're on vacation. my daughter always has the sweet potato salad but the rest of us try something different and we haven't been disappointed yet.

i had heard great things about this place from people whose opinion on good food matter to me. my girlfriend & i were in wilmington & decided to give it a try and were lucky to get a table, as someone cancelled their reservation. the herb oil served with the bread was so spectacular & well seasoned, it foretold the grand taste experience we were about to embark. the crab cakes were all crab and tasted very fresh. the blackened grouper special with the cheddar grits was tasty as well. delicious kale was the vegetable served with both dishes. do yourself a favor and try it for yourself.

awesome...as expected. welcoming and accommodating upon our entry. very busy, my wife and i were offered a spot at the bar. the bartender told us he would be right with us, which i appreciate....soon thereafter the best bloody i have ever had. the special did not disappoint: snapper put together fresh, yummy and healthy- comfortably full, did not want to leave. catch not only understands food, the concept is methodical: deliberate and conscientious, with impeccable execution- from the kitchen unto the servers.

best in wilmington. my husband and i just ate at catch. started with the crab claw scampi as an appetizer. that dish never let's us down. it is absolutely one of best dishes i have ever eaten! the sauce is so good that we save our bread to dip in it. next i had crab stuffed mahi. it was wonderful! the sauce he puts over it is to die for. my husband had pan seared grouper with goat cheese mashed potatoes and he could not stop telling me how good it was. i have never had a meal at this restaurant that i didn't go home telling my friends about how wonderful it was. the staff is always right on point also! great food and wonderful service. thanks catch!

nom sod salad-wow. we had the nom sod salad and it was terrific. also, brazilian seafood stew. the broth was delicious and i wish i could have had a gallon jug of it. i think that it is pricing itself out of the market, but it is good for now. maybe a move toward eastwood and the beach would help for attendance.
