casapericois our go-to place for mexican food(even though it's super far for us, it's well worth it!). we've never had a bad meal and everyone is super nice and courteous. their nachos are the best i've ever had.

casapericois family owned, giving it a warmer and more inviting atmosphere than typical, flashy tex-mex chains.
with quick and friendly service, i am always seated promptly, with little to no wait time. immediately after being sat, servers place the smoothest, tastiest queso you will ever eat, delicious salsa with fresh vegetables, and homemade tortilla chips in front of each guest. i use the word guest because at this homey restaurant, you are treated as more than a customer.
there seems to be a low-turnover rate for casa perico’s employees, with familiar faces greeting me almost every time i come in. it is evident that they care about each guest’s experience, as they provide quick and courteous service every day.
after receiving the set-up of chips, queso, and salsa, you are given the option of ordering tortillas to tide you over before your meal arrives. my family always opts for the mix of both corn and flour tortillas because both homemade choices are delicious in different ways.
casapericooffers traditional tex-mex favorites and more signature, authentic mexican entrees. the chile relleno platter has a perfect mix of spicy and savory flavors, while the carnitas de puerco is a local favorite. the chicken or cheese enchiladas are a go-to and the carne asada is a delicious option. after my main course, i can never refuse the fluffy and delicious complementary sopapillas.
to wash down the tasty entrees, casapericooffers a wide variety of premium beverages. the authentic mexican beers like tecate, dos equis, and negro modelo provided in frosted, salt-rimmed goblets are a nice compliment to your meal.
the mexican grill has been around for almost twenty years. mike and paula porter, the married owners, founded the business and have been running it ever since. they truly care about the quality of food and the satisfaction of their guests.
the porters strive to create a long-term clientele. many guests, including my family, have been regulars for the entire time that casapericohas been in business. this is due to the great quality of food and friendly service of employees.
i have been a loyal customer of casapericosince the time that i had to use a highchair. casapericowas my family’s weekly restaurant choice throughout my childhood. we even had the fajitas, enchiladas, chile rellenos, and rice and beans catered to my graduation party. they provided all the necessities to make serving a large group of people in my home as painless as possible, including heating racks, utensils, and platters. the food was definitely the hit of the party!
look out chain tex-mex restaurants! this mom and pop’s mexican diner is one to watch in oklahoma city.

this was great! we were looking for a quick dinner near st. john’s, and literally saw casapericofrom across the street, and decided to try it. erin got a taco salad that she liked ok. raegan got chicken enchiladas. she ate 1.5 of the 2, and i had some of the rest; they were pretty darn good. i got puerco verde; pork in green chili sauce. outstanding! that stuff had a bit of spiciness, but flavor that was just wonderful. i asked our server, and he said it was essentially guisada. wonderful stuff. the queso and salsa was pretty good. service was excellent. the iced tea was really good. our check was $37.89. i look forward to going back, i think this place has real potential.

service issues. this place has been a longtime favorite of mine and my family's, but the last few visits have been not so good. the food is still pretty good, and the new menu looks nice and everything, but the service doesn't match up. service is often more important to me. may give them another chance.

un pequeño problema. i've raved about casapericoto my facebook friends and anyone who will listen and i've been a faithful customer.

but today i feel slightly cheated. i ordered tacos pioneros ($9.99 menu price) and was asked if i wanted chicken or beef. i said "beef." seems simple enough.

upon receiving my dish, i noticed the tacos were different, not the shredded, stewed beef i've had in the past, but chopped this time. i didn't think much of it until my check arrived and was much higher than expected. i was charged $11.49 for the tacos pioneros. my first reaction was not that i had been wronged, but that maybe the restaurant was raising prices and the menus were not yet reflecting the prices - innocent enough, i thought.

so when i asked if the menus were out of date, and pursued the issue with my server, i was told that i had ordered something extra. and when i expressed confusion and irritation, the response was sheepish smiling. excuse me, but are we pretending to have a language barrier in order to pad the customer's bill? i really hope not. because i know what i ordered. if you are going to charge more than the menu price, you need to communicate that to the customer and that will probably save you from reviews like this one.

it will be a while before i'm back guys.

move to oklahoma from phoenix three years ago.pericomexican grille is by far the best mexician food we've had anywhere in this state. highly recommended!

a cure for the tex-mex blues.. we've been depressed by the bad tex-mex on the north side of town until we tried casapericotonight. good traditional dishes, lots of shrimp and vegetarian options, and the tex mex! they don't skimp on the cheese and theres nice flavors going on in the sides. sliced avocado abound, they aren't afraid to put some pico on the simple stuff like nachos and chimichangas. good stuff! we finally have a mexican joint to soak up our afternoon hang-overs.

no liquor on the patio!. the whole reason i went to casapericowas to get their skinny margarita! i talked them up to my friends and we all went there expecting to sit on the fun patio and drink! they can't have liquor served out on the patio. you can get beer though... the food was okay, but i was really dissapointed in the patio and inside atmosphere. :(

great mexican, great lunch menu. casapericois one of those "mom and pop" mexican restaurants where they really know what they're doing and have some wonderful tex-mex recipes that are simple and familiar to almost anyone.
the rice and refried beans that come with most entrees actually become highlights of the meal because they're that good. i highly recommend the chimichangas or the fajitas. the chips and salsa are unbelievably fresh and delicious. the only downside is that i find the queso to be weak and watery, especially compared to the grade a queso you can get at otb or big truck tacos. but unlike those other two retaurants, cp gives you their queso for free, so there's that caveat. nevertheless, casapericodoes so many things so well for so little money, you've got to stop in and give them a try. for whatever reason, i find this location serves significantly better-tasting food than their quail springs location. the staff at both locations is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

excellent mexican food. as far as traditional mexican food goes, this has to be the best place in town. everything is fresh, and the food is fantastic. their fajitas are some of the best i've ever had, and their casapericospecial is awesome.
