casa goa ... a great place to hang out with friends as the food is absolutely fantastic and the alcohol is very reasonable
we ordered peanut masala , a pinacolada which was very good( they gave another on the house 😉) pork indad & buns , veg pokodas again very tasty and not oily , veg korma and rotis.. all of which were very tasty
the staff are extremely friendly and if your from mangalore / goa / mumbai you will definatly love the live band
once in the groove you will also see a lot of people shaking a leg at the dance floor ..💃
they could have done a better job with the interiors of the place but otherwise this place is just fun , good food with awesome beverage choices.

welcome addition to the city's food scene. a proper goan restaurant with decent goan food. parking is horror in this area during weekends...weekdays are fine. has a proper pork menu so all goan n konkan foodies would flock in soon. the ambience is very poor. saddening dimlights, not so chic furnishing. but food and alcohol is the bright side. food is good, alcohol is pretty cheap but with no great wine choices. i had to go for a french rośe as that was the only choice of rose wine they had. have a live band from 8:30 to midnight on weekdays and till 1 am on weekends. a very friendly staff and good service. in brief, use a taxi to hotel to avoid parking hassles, if you could ignore the sad ambience, you get a proper evening fr a party or dinner in goan style.
upsides: decent goan food, economical price for food and drinks.
downsides: ambience, limited wine options

if your a pork lover and want to chill with couple of beer's so this is the place within live band...the only thing is that the place should have open space with natural light

such a delight to find truly authentic goan food in abu dhabi. loved the beef chilly and goan prawn curry. the food was spot on and tasted great! the servers were pleasing and very attentive. the ambience could be worked upon and enhanced. that's the only part where this place lacked rating.

visited this place ..ambience is neat ..music played were english classics which gets you in a relaxed groove with the first sip of beer.
ordered pork roast,kingfish masala fry,squids and another dish which was a mix of squids and prawns..i must say being a goan i was very impressed with the food taste ..hats of to the chef i would say as the food far exceeded my expectations..being a monday the place wasnt too busy and the supervisor edwin went the extra mile to do a live flaming drink for us..excellently done by the bartender..the staff is attentive and very polite "friendly ".our server she was prompt and did great table maintenance .
overall i would say ..food and service is excellent..value for money is to the dot..
i would definately recommend this place to others and im told they have a band that plays live which i look forward to hear on my next visit..

live band is wonderful n gets you grooving..food is great as usual ..had ordered a pork roast which was dissapoonting as it was hard and not the same that i had enjoyed on last visit..however waitress got it replaced much to my satisfaction..extremely cheerful staff ..makes u feel familiar!

great goan food, lovely ambiance also the service is good. been here couple of times after its reopening with family they all loved it. there is separate area for  smokers and non smokers which is quite good. music is good.  best  place to visit if you are looking for some drinks and good goan/mangy food and some relaxation.

i was told that the food here is not as good as it use to be, however if you crave goan food this is the right place. we ordered for prawns goan curry, sausage pulav with yummy pork chops :) will go again to try some other dishes on their menu.

one of my most favorite places to make a come back. i used to love the place for its food and atmosphere.

one of the few places you can get good pork and at decent prices. the band is good but can play better selection of songs. the place was kinda empty as not a lot of people know about it but the staff are really friendly.

definitely going to go here more often.

i missed the live music and the goan food but its all back.…cant wait to come back and have some more of their delicious cousine. they also serve a good variety of alcohol so its a good place for people who prefer good goan food with alcohol.

casa goa used to be one of our favourite places to eat when it was beside abu dhabi mall. i had absolutely no idea that they had re-opened again if it wasn't for the flyer kept on our car during the weekend.

we decided to visit them on christmas eve. but let me tell you something, the hotel that they've mentioned on the flyer and everywhere else is "regent hotel" (which was actually the previous name of the hotel they are in now). we repeatedly searched the place and even called the restaurant a number of times and they wouldn't tell us that it was located in hawthorn suites by wyndham abu dhabi. finally, when we got frustrated and asked the man whether it was hawthorn he says yes. firstly, the restaurant needs to sort this out!

anyway, once we were there, things seemed a little bit better. the place was clean with hardly any people inside. it opened up only a few weeks ago so people are still unaware. there was a live band and they played songs in english, hindi & konkani. there was a separate smoking room and a darts area.

from the menu, we ordered - mussels masala, beef chilly fry, pork sausage pulao, prawn balchao and appam.

preparation time was quick and the portions were pretty good. everything was tasty but beef was super spicy. the mussels and prawns was tasty too. i think a plate had about 10 mussels. prices were definitely reasonable. they have a huge selection of cocktails, however some weren't available. we were there at 12am and they even gave us complimentary wine.

service was very good. i would definitely go back and try out other dishes.

good food very friendly staff, and decently priced alcohol. one of the few places where you can get pork in abu dhabi and that too for a very economical price. the quantity is enough for 2-3 persons easily. the band is average and could do with a little more entertainment.
