tasteful and spicy food. the currygoaprawns was amazing! menu with diversity and complete. nice service. highly recommended.

goa is where i had my honeymoon. so i decided to head to casagoafor one last fling before ramadan. what was once a decent place to enjoy coastal fare & drinks with quick service had descended into the realm of awful places we should think twice about before visiting. the experience was worse than my honeymoon & marriage. and considering i'm divorced, that's saying a bit about the place!!
they have a very decent offer on singha beer - 5 bottles in a bucket for dhs 60. so i went for that. too bad the beer bottles were warm. after the first bottle, i was left to open the others myself. a packet of napkins were kept on the table, the plastic torn thru roughly. i thought i was at a cheap birthday party! :-(
as for the food, the photos i'm uploading alone will be sure to spoil your appetite. the goan cigar (my usual favourite) was soggy. the vegetable cutlets were dry & unseasoned. and the mushrooms had a slimy texture, like they went straight from a can with brine into the pan. the mushrooms were small buttons & whole, and the flavour of the onions and tomatoes didn't integrate at all. and don't get me started on the presentation. a roadside malabari cafeteria does more justice. 
what an utter shame!

visited this place on mother's day, was a bit disappointed with the interior looked like we entered someone's living room. the place is divided in 3 parts - bar area, orchestra area and family area. did not like the setting at all. sorpotel was just perfect, goan cigar(prawns rolled in papas) was okay, beef sukem with capsicum was good and xap chilly fry(squids and prawns) was delicious. just a suggestion to casagoamanagement please add some wall decor which will give the feel ofgoawhen you enter like goan restaurants in dubai.

this place is great! the staff is really so friendly... cocktails wow, i will mention especially staff savio he is the most cheerful, and helpful staff i know in casa goa.
he made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
the food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted was really tasty. absolutely the best meal we had in casagoa. highly recommend!

to have authentic goan food, we decided on none other than the all so famous @casagoa.auh @casagoaad

what we ate/drank:-
1) starters:
beef cutlet : crispy beef patties/cutlets with the right amount of spice served with fries and ketchup.

2)fresh bombay duck fry : opted for the true rava masala, fresh crispy bombay ducks served with salad on side.perfect starter for the night.one portion has 3 bombay duck fries.

3) mains:
pork vindaloo - authentic goan dish with perfect mix of masala giving in a sweet and sour flavor.the pork was cooked really well.we had it with steamed rice - match made in heaven!

4) chicken vindaloo - it was similar to the pork vindaloo, however we felt the chicken version was much spicy compared to the pork vindaloo.had it with steamed rice as well.was very happy and satisfied with the food.

5) drinks:-
vodka with orange juice for av
grasshopper for us - a sweet mint flavored after dinner drink!

casagoais one of the known restaurant in abu dhabi serving authentic goan cuisine.the goan dishes are the best.it has a very good ambience for a chilled out night with friends and family.they do have live music band.most of the time this place is crowded specially on weekends, hence suggest to make a reservation.they have seperate smoking/non smoking areas.a must visit place if you love goan/pork dishes.staffs are friendly and accommodating.
all in all a great place to drink, watch sports, play pool and enjoy goan food!! it's open till 3am as well 🙂❤

had a great time at casagoatonight. got there a bit late. couldn’t try their food. but had some appetisers, and they were tasty. their serving was impressively large.
the staff were very friendly and welcoming. sweenle especially provided us with excellent service.

the staff is very courteous. generous portions of food!! damn good promotions! a must place to visit. pork lovers do try the choris pao, pork roast, sausage pulav, pork ribs. joseph, swindle, nita the only names i remember are super cool and are really kind. the entertainment is shut a big shout out to elvis & sneha for their superb performance and keep us entertained during their performances. a place must to visit!!!goavibes!!!

casagoahas a very good ambience for a chilled out night with friends. never met a group of staff as good and friendly as them. our server for the night was sweeln who was very jolly and kind and was always attentive to us and made sure we were content.

visited casagoaon a wednesday night with family. ordered prawn chilli, chicken peri peri, fish cutlet and chapati. seafood was fresh, peri peri was the right amount of spicy and delicious- reordered this one! loved the fish cutlet! they also have live band. casagoais perfect if you want to go just chill and have good food, nothing fancy!
we also had the goan pao which was so soft and so fresh. we actually hadn’t ordered it, probably the server got confused- but it was good, recommend it to try with the prawn chilli.
p.s wednesday is ladies night- 2 free drinks on the house :)

had heard about casagoafor long and wanted to try them. finally got opportunity to visit them with a friend. good selection of goan cuisine apart from reasonably priced drinks. they have live music from 9 pm onwards. overall a good experience.

the name has "goa" in it and yes you will feel the vibes ofgoathere. lively environment. staff is attentive. live goan and bollywood music adds charm to it. great thing is you can request a song. it has separate sections for bar, family and for smoking. this is my second time here and ordered chicken drumsticks and budweiser. previously i had chilly chicken which was worst but chicken drumsticks was good. i suggest to order sea food there.

visited casagoaduring a recent trip to abu dhabi. since we were there during lunch hours, it was empty but nonetheless service was great. 
the menu is pretty straight-cut, they have a few manglorean delicacies as well. interiors definitely requires a bit of a touch up - after a lovely chat with the manager, we were informed that he is planning to remove the alcohol adverts which are literally on every wall and instead replace them with  some lovely pictures fromgoa(bonus points for that!). there is also a wall that is designed by "billytoons" a famous cartoonist from goa. 

coming to the food; for drinks we ordered fresh lime soda and orange juice both of which were a bit too sour for my liking. for mains; we opted for the sizzler, the meat was cooked in a beautiful masala that hits your taste buds just right, unfortunately the veggies and fries weren't mixed quite well, and lacked seasoning. 
we also opted for the chorizo pulao, which was the highlight of our lunch. this dish i loved very much and was quite authentic

goodgoavibes. food was great and the service was impeccable. try the beef cutlets, sausage pulao and the prawn fry and you won't be disappointed.

let me start off by saying.... if you are craving for authentic goan food, casagoa(abu dhabi) is the place you ought to visit. i have visited this place quite a few times and every visit i try a different goan preparation, be it xitt kodi or mussel rawa fry, prawn curry, beef tongue, chicken cafreal or pork sorpotel...every dish brought back memories of goa.

this time we tried the new addition to their menu - the goan quick bites assorted (snacks) platter which comprised of beef croquettes, prawn rissois and prawn potato chops. the taste of the platter was simply outstanding. i loved all the three items.. we had the goan street food combo, we chose the beef cutlet with a pint of beer. the cutlet served here is the same as you would find on the streets in goa.

we also ordered sorpotel it was yummy, it tasted just like how my family prepares it.

i definitely recommend having the assorted snacks platter, goan cutlet, mussel rawa fry, or chicken cafreal.

the staff and their manager mr. nolasco makes sure you are being taken care of. the place has a nice ambience too.

i'm really delighted to have authentic goan food served here in abu dhabi. this place is a must visit and enjoy goan food while having hard drinks and enjoying a great live band.
