came here after church with my wife and a friend. it's always nice to find a restaurant that is open early on sundays. restaurant was super quiet when we arrived, we were greeted promptly and given a choice of table to sit at. we noticed a very extensive tea selection written right on the wall along with several specials.

wife ordered the spicy seafood pasta and i ordered the hamburger egg skillet. i found the combinations really interesting. myskillethad a side of stir fried shanghai thick noodle, rice, french fries, kimchi and a hamburger steak. it was a kaleidoscope of chinese, korean and western flavours. it all tasted alright, but something about it threw me off. i have to say the same for my wife's pasta. it was actually pasta in a spicy korean haemul jigae broth. alone, the broth was very flavourful, but something about having it with spaghetti is once again somewhat odd. soup is simply too runny to coat spaghetti. the pasta was bland while eating and after eating the pasta, you're left with a very intense broth that is almost too intense on its own.

my wife and i will definitely come back for tea and dessert as well as come back for something not quite so exotic. i do believe the food is good, and will give them another try.

our favourite neighbourhood place.  the bbqskilletis the best, arrives quickly and is piping hot.  service is excellent and personable - ask them anything about the menu.  decor is fun and the environment is warm and relaxing.  definitely a little gem tucked in st. vital.

the teas in a favourite china cup is a nice addition to any meal, and the original honey bread is a must.

i have been to a number of cafes like this in the city, and honestly, cafe lemon tree is the best! the food is excellent, the prices are good and best of all the service is prompt and polite. every time i go, i hear customers from around the area raving about how much they like it and how nice it is to have it close by.

the bbqskilletis excellent and such a huge portion. same goes for the okonomiyaki, it is definitely a full meal set alone!

the teas and drinks are all wonderful, i especially love the caramel mocha. i don't know if they still have the honey bread, but if they do, definitely try it! it's sooo good. the servers are so cute and sweet. it has something for everyone and a very relaxing atmosphere. the only thing i would change is the tables & chairs, but otherwise it's perfect!

if you look in the dictionary under "adorable," you'll find a picture of cafe lemon tree. the staff are effusively welcoming, the decor is sweet, and the chicken teriyakiskilletis piping hot and full of flavour. the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful - great for writing solo over a cup of coffee, meeting a friend for lunch, or having a relaxing date. the prices are very reasonable, and where can you find such variety: waffles, french fries, specialty tea, tempura? there's even something for my picky children. lemon tree is our family's go-to cafe.

fantastic. my friends and i went here for lunch this morning and i would really recommend it. we ordered the okonomiyaki, skilletdduk boki and the original honey bread for dessert. the food was out quickly and was very good. like others on this site said, the honey bread was awesome and its big enough to share on one order. service was great too. they were kind enough to make something off menu for my friend's young son. that's a plus in my books. they have a pretty nice dessert section so i'll be sure to come back and try something out as an evening outing.

dinner skillet-dak galbi and la-galbi with fresh lemonade. my fiancé and i went here last night for the first time and fell in love with it, between the cute, cozy decor, friendly, helpful service and delicious food, we will come back! i had the la-galbi (short ribs) dinnerskilletand everything was super tasty and my fiancé had the dak-galbi (spicy chicken) and it too was delish (if you do not have a high spice tolerance i'd avoid this dish). we shared one of their homemade lemonade (in a mason jar mug) and it was perfectly sweetened with just the right amount of lemon.
can't wait to go back and try other menu items and their fancy coffees, teas and desserts!

pork cutlet skillet. did not really like the cutlet. it was really thin and bland (don't think they seasoned it before frying ).

visited here for the first time today, after searching on urbanspoon for cafés nearby. turns out this cafe had recently just opened this month. i order the hamburg steakskilletand peach iced tea. theskilletwas really filling and the peach iced tea was really good. i would definitely love to come back again to try the rest of their menu, especially their desserts. the only downside would probably be the price, as my lunch came out to be about $25 with tax, which is pretty hefty. if their prices could be lowered a bit, i would definitely come here more often.
