ok winnipeg !!!! the honeybreaddessert. wherever you live in the city, take a drive some evening for a coffee or tea and the honeybreaddessert. the original is carmel, they offer a chocolate version. in my opinion, this original carmel honeybreaddessert is amazing ! think of a large piece of a toasted cinnamon bun cooked to perfection (crunchy on the outside soft on the inside) then cover it with the lightest and most flavourful whipped cream with drizzled carmel. i contemplated trying it because i thought it might be too sweet and i am not a fan of "honey flavoured" desserts, but it is the perfect combo of sweet and crunchy. can't say enough how good it is. lovely cafe atmosphere. you will be pleased you made the drive - it is something quite different and surprisingly so great than anything else you will get anywhere in winnipeg, that's for sure.

our favourite neighbourhood place.  the bbq skillet is the best, arrives quickly and is piping hot.  service is excellent and personable - ask them anything about the menu.  decor is fun and the environment is warm and relaxing.  definitely a little gem tucked in st. vital.

the teas in a favourite china cup is a nice addition to any meal, and the original honeybreadis a must.

fantastic. my friends and i went here for lunch this morning and i would really recommend it. we ordered the okonomiyaki, skillet dduk boki and the original honeybreadfor dessert. the food was out quickly and was very good. like others on this site said, the honeybreadwas awesome and its big enough to share on one order. service was great too. they were kind enough to make something off menu for my friend's young son. that's a plus in my books. they have a pretty nice dessert section so i'll be sure to come back and try something out as an evening outing.

honey bread. thebreadis so soft and fresh and overall, it's not that sweet. a must try ^^ also ordered their chicken wrap and it's nothing special. would like to try their bingsu but not definitely for the entrees, they're kinda pricey tbh.

korean goodness in st. vital. solid new family-operated restaurant in st. vital, with a modest tea house feel.
we decided to stay for dinner once we looked over the menu and selected the dak-galbi and bulgogi skillets. each was fresh, looked great and tasted fantastic, just be careful if you do not like heat - the dak-galbi was spicy but sooo good.
for a treat at the end, we saved room for the honeybread(seriously, get the honey bread) and have now a new favourite place to stop at in st. vital.
p.s. get the honeybreadalready.
