found this cozy place on mall road, wonderful ambience, loved the decor and pretty good food. sat outside in their balcony on a perfect, breezy evening in nainital, overlooking the lake and it was beautiful. particularly liked the peanut butter and caramel milkshake. burger was yum, pizza was amazing. could've just sat there for hours.

the ambiance is awesome.. view of the lake overlooking the cafe especially at night is mesmerizing.
the food is outstanding. we tried the fish fillet. it was just done to perfection and succlent. the seekh kebabs juicy. the roasted chicken couldn't get better.
pizza with a thing crust and toppings of different cheeses ,blended so well.
to top it off we tried the brownie with ice-cream, so gooey inside and sinfully delightful. the music offsets the theme.
highly recommend for the whole dining experience. must try.

it was love at first sight!!! the place is so beautifully done up….alive and happening. food is amazing and staff is very cooperative. they are careful about food allergies and preferences and are able to tweak for the palate. music was awesome. i loved the whole experience ♥️

cafe lakeside is the best thing about nainital! this is my second visit to the town after a year and the service; the food- is still outstanding. their view ofcourse is the cherry on the top. but it’s the whole experience of their ambience, tasteful decor, lip smacking good food and friendly staff that really makes the place stand out. even though we went during peak hours when the place was full, we got serviced properly. the keep trying to do something with their menu and it’s heartening to see that after a year, they had not only expanded their space but also tried to better their menu. it can give a metro city cafe, a good competition. hence for a town like nainital- it must be on your to visit places!

i love this joint, it's peppy, chic and affordable at the same time. the attention to detail can be seen in every packet ordered. taste is simply amazing. good going guys.

quick tip ask for chef special.. they'll surly make your day.

unless you are ready to spend an hour or two waiting just for starters to arrive at your table, this restaurant is a definite miss.extermely overpriced with no genuine intent of serving food at all.the only pro this place actually has is a good location and view.apart from, nothing else is good enough to spend .

this is to zomato: unless you are getting paid for fake ratings this place has found serious loophole in your rating system.

with this bad service if they are rated 4.9 i have doubts on zomato authenticity.

this place is quite overrated. really bad service. it felt like the staff was doing us a favour by taking our order. we had to request them to take.our order 4-5 times before someone finally obliged. thank you so much for taking your valuable time out to take our order.

the veg biryani i ordered for takeaway was very yummy an nicely prepared. the class is reflected in their taste, presentation as well as ambience of the cafe. they know how to cook be it anything. went there again with whole family for dinner but there was a hair in roti. there was music playing right on top of our head had to tell them 4 time to lower the volume. asked for raw onion they didn't serve lemon with it. they still charged us full ammount there was no courtesy in them. they lacked hospitality.

no place in nainital comes close to this place in terms of food and service. the view is to die for! lalit, our server, was great. absolutely amazing quality and experience!

the food is so delicious, the view from the cafe is surreal , the staff is very generous, just in love with the atmosphere of this place, would always recommend everyone to go here.
