the ambiance is awesome..viewof the lake overlooking the cafe especially at night is mesmerizing.
the food is outstanding. we tried the fish fillet. it was just done to perfection and succlent. the seekh kebabs juicy. the roasted chicken couldn't get better.
pizza with a thing crust and toppings of different cheeses ,blended so well.
to top it off we tried the brownie with ice-cream, so gooey inside and sinfully delightful. the music offsets the theme.
highly recommend for the whole dining experience. must try.

cafe lakeside is the best thing about nainital! this is my second visit to the town after a year and the service; the food- is still outstanding. theirviewofcourse is the cherry on the top. but it’s the whole experience of their ambience, tasteful decor, lip smacking good food and friendly staff that really makes the place stand out. even though we went during peak hours when the place was full, we got serviced properly. the keep trying to do something with their menu and it’s heartening to see that after a year, they had not only expanded their space but also tried to better their menu. it can give a metro city cafe, a good competition. hence for a town like nainital- it must be on your to visit places!

this place happened to be my birthday brunch place while we were in nainital.
food- their continental fare is very famous and we tried their hot and sour soup, the chicken pizza and farm fresh veggie pizza (both were well made), the pasta in white sauce was little soggy and lost the crunch, the red sauce spaghetti was yummy.

ambience- the naini lake is the hero of this place, theviewis to die for.

customer service- tad slow

value for money- moderately priced

after finishing a tiring day if trek to naini peak and some sightseeing i wanted to fill my hungry tummy with some gastronomical goodies while relaxing in a comfortable restaurant. i noticed this restaurant which had a good and clearviewof the lake and had a funky vibe to it. i had to wait for sometime to heat a seat at the kake facing position, as it was crowded at that time in the evening. after i got a seat, i settled into my position and ordered a hot talumein soup, as it a bitty chilly after having rained during the day. the cafe has a wifi for customers that i used to book my train ticket for next day. the soup was very tasty. theviewfrom the lake is very romantic and i am sure couples will love it. but it only has a few stool based seats that face the lake, the rest of the seating is inside the cafe. the seating is very comfortable and loud funky music was playing. i enjoyed the soup slowly, as i wanted to relax and spend some time there. after that i settled into a comfortable sofa seat inside the cafe and ordered a butter chicken with roti. what better than this to satiate the hunger pangs of a punjabi :-) the butter chicken was lip smackingly delicious, the rotis were all 'phooli hui tawa rotis', the onion and green chutney were great accompaniments to the butter chicken. i devoured the chicken and four rotis with lots of chutney and onions. the quantity was generous.
mind you the rates are on the higher side than other cafes around. but it is more than worth it for the great view, cleanliness, great food, good service, funky vibes and comfortable seating.
i will highly recommend this cafe.

such a cute little cafe in mall road. beautifulviewand lovely restaurant. was very difficult to get a table , finally on the last day of our trip we managed to eat there. food was good and priced ok.

this place is great! atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. they know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. food is pretty good with some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

it was truly the highlight of my trip to nainital. i would recommend anyone travelling that side to give this place a visit.

i love love loved the vibe of the cafe! it’s so warm and theviewis just breathtaking. the hot chocolate is a must have (gets even better if it’s raining/cold)! food was yum can’t wait to try more things on the menu! the staff is so professional, overall a very welcoming experience. can’t wait to be back!
