tek kelime ile rezalet. yıllar önce gelirdim güzel gelirdi bir lezzeti vardı pahalıydı ama ara sıra yerdik. 3 gün önce gittim. bir kere fiyatlar anormal artmış şaka gibi. big şarkburgersöyledim 33 tl. aman tanrım gelen büyük bir ekmeğin içinde kaybolmuş incecik köfte taş çatlasa 80-90gr. i̇çine öylesine doğranmış marul bol mayonez ve soslar. yanında patates istersen o extra para. böyle bir hayal kırıklığı olamaz. bugün nereye gitsen gurme burgerci dolu böyle bir fiyat ve ürün yok. rezaletin son perdesi. bir daha önünden geçmem asla !!!

sanırım i̇stanbul'un en eski burgercilerinden. adı gibi jumbu burgerleri var. ve hepsi gerçekten çok leziz. kendi imalatları olan ketchup ve mayonez bir artı. özellikle de gene kendi imalatları olan sosis enfes. tadıyla, servisiyle oturmuş güzel bir mekan. fiyatlar gurmeburgeryapan mekanlarla benzer. burgermeraklısıysanız mutlaka bir defa deneyin.

jburgergecmisin verdigi guc ile devam ediyor fakat fiyat politikasinda degisiklik yapmalari lazim.burgerler ya ufak ya da pahali kaliyor. ozel soslari damak tadiniza uyarsa cok begenirsiniz.

one of 2 oldies from my childhood. other one is kristal bufe, that moved and got smaller in time.

jburgeris still popular but pricing strategy strongly needs change. neither burgers are small or prices are high.

3.5 for old time sake

disappointing the rich since 1977 while sitting in caddebostan it seemed like a very clever idea to try out this place i saw on notonlyistanbul.com called jumbo burger. looks good in the video... well, everything they film looks good so i guess that is not a good criteria, but i signed in, logged on, and jumped through the 8 flaming hoops required to acquire a doruknet wiif spotter internet connection and loaded the jumboburgerwebsite. the menu page doesn't work, at least on mobile, so i am including pictures of the entire menu for you. but the address was there and it was easy to wander down and find the place. it looks ok from outside, tables on the patio watching the beautiful view of traffic. the sun is shining, the weather is warm, and optimism blossoms. then it gets crushed. french fries are 9 lira. seems steep but i order them anyway because how can i really know about aburgerjoint without trying the fries? they are semiwarm, lacking flavor (pretty sure they are just frozen potato sticks, nothing special), and come with some sort of special sauce which is remarkable both in it?s resemblance to the ball bearing grease we used to pack hubs with in my past life as a bicycle mechanic, and its sickly-sweet oily texture. not for me but ok, i don't have to eat it. there is also homemade ketchup with the fries. here follows the recipe: mix tomato salça with water, add sugar, serve. washed down the fries with a 5 lira cola zero, approximately %30 more expensive than airport cola. nice.burgerarrives. well, lets say a large piece of soggy bread arrives which takes several bites of archaeological expedition proportion to find anyburgermeat, which turns out to be more mcdonald?s style homogenized soy product than cow. it tastes like an islakburgerfrom bambi cafe. only this one costs 11 lira. it also has the mystery ball bearing grease sauce. i am sad. i want to wash it down with the end of my cola but the waiter has taken it away with one sip left, about 2 lira worth i guess. jumboburgerkafeterya? only thing jumbo is the bill. cafeteria is a fitting description as it reminds me profoundly of the one in my high school. while leaving i saw the only smiling face, from the homeless man out front sipping raki from a powerade bottle. new powerade flavor suggestion: lion's milk.

süper ama pahali :( - jumbo burger, hamburgerlerine (özellikle special olanlarina), arap sabununu andiran hamburger sosuna bayiliyorum. hatta bazi günler, resmen jumboburgerdiye sayikliyorum. fakat çooooooook pahalisin, o yüzden hep yiyemiyorum. :(

hayat sadece parasi olana mi güzel? :) - çok orjinal burgerleri, kendine has tatlari var. çok severek gittigim birburgercafe. yalniz çok pahali. ne kadar güzel olursa olsun, bir burgere servet ödemek içimden gelmiyor. pahali olmasa sik giderdim. uygun fiyatli olsa, bir de evlere servisi sahane olurdu.

ilk ve son. - incecik birburgerköftesi, içinde tatli bir sos, yag içinde bir patates... kusura bakma j. ama eksilerdesin benim için. burgerin olmadigi dönemlerde milleti kandirmissin bana göre. ama artik gerçekburgeryenebilecek bir dolu mekan var. 35 tutan hesaptan 50 istemeleri de katmer oldu. neymis, yanlislik olmus... peki öyle olsun.

yeni burgerciler arasinda biraz isi zor - herkes bahsediyordu gitmemek olmazdi. gittim. yedim. tatli mayonezi ile tanistim. eyvallah... ancak zeynep ferah'in "ya nefret eder ya bagimlisi olursunuz. ya da benim gibi önce huylanir, sonra da aserirsiniz :) bu kadar vicik bir sey nasil bu kadar lezzetli olur diye sorarsiniz kendi kendinize... " durumu bende de hasil oldu. aseremeyecegime göre :) de sarkaç bende su anda sosu "hiç begenmeme" halinde asili kaldi. tüm jumbo burger'ciler adina özür !

bu kadar methiyeler alan bir yerin son zamanlarda açilan birçokburgerrestoranlarinin arasinda biraz zorlanacagini söyleyebilirim. pazarda "ilk"lerden olmasi en büyük avantaji. onun disinda hamburger köftesinin de yeterince büyük olmamasi bende ikinci bir hayal kirikligi yaratti. ben big cheeseburger yedim ama iki katli burgerler daha güzel görünüyordu.

bakalim zamana birakiyorum. belki sarkaç -bende biraz zor ama- tam da zeynep'in dedigi gibi "öteki tarafa" kayiverir.

bir de lütfen arabanizi restoranin önüne, yani sol seride birakmayin. cemil topuzlu'da arabayi sol seride birakmak kazaya davetiye çikarmak demek.
