amazingfood- one of the best thin crust pizzas i have had ever, awesome salads and soups, great service and polite staff. a must visit when you are in mussorie

so, cafe de tavern was just a chance discovery for us. the first day we went there was pure luck. on the first day we ordered a liit, whiskey sour, and gunhill special pizza. and we were pleasantly surprised. freshly wood fired pizza. delicious cocktail. and a huge selection forfoodand drink equally. the host, mr shailendra, is a really polite guy. and is readily available for any questions about thefoodyou may have.

now on to the second time, we went because we had a pleasant first experience. and we wanted to try one of their local specialities, desi kukadi bowl. and obviously, a drink. so we had citrus sangria, which is again a delicious drink and quite refreshing at that. and then the desi kukadi bowl. oh boy! yep, those were the first words to leave my mouth once thefoodtouched my palate. if you are not from the mountains, the flavours will leave you drooling. perfect balance of spicy and sour. then we ordered missionaries' delight. these are deep fried chicken wings in bbq sauce. the first thing that hits you is not the taste but the smokiness of the bbq sauce. again, a great dish. we did tell mr shailendra to make the wings a bit more first date friendly hehe. and he took it quite positively.

oh and one message to mr shailendra, the pastry was nice touch.

loved the ambiance, the music and the overall service.
thefoodwas another story varying all over with the dishes being served.
to start with james skinner fries / wedges, slightly over done and hence they left a burnt after taste in the mouth. 3/5.

mussoorie international wrap: flafel in pita pockets with cucumber, tomatoes and lettuce served with guacamole and tzatziki dip. the pockets were overall dry but the saving grace was the guacamole which lacked a bit of seasoning. the tzatziki dip was more of a cucumber raita than a dip, it lacked the fresh herbs and the garlic flavours it should have had. 3/5.

four cheese pizza : beautiful thin crust and good amount of cheddar, parmesan, feta and mozzarella. the crust was really thin and good crispy and golden. the base sauce was decent and nicely seasoned. the combination of the four cheese was nice and the addition of feta gave it a different dimension. we had it with the wholegrain mustard sauce it made it more delectable. 4.5/5.

loved the place andfood. i was there with a group of friends . we ordered swiss roll and a wood fired pizza . pizza was fresh , flavoursome and was made in front of us (live kitchen) . swiss roll was superb with perfect sweetness😍 place could have been a little cleaner but altogether it was a good experience

this was our first dinner in mussorie. thefoodwas bad, service is worse and the restaurant is just so dirty and unhygienic. there was tissues andfoodunder every table which they had not been cleaned. they serve fries it a weaved basket with big holes so almost all the fries r touching the table , the pizza was ok.. did the mistake of going to their loo and oh my god i nearly threw up. the toilet was clogged and it was stinking so bad.they management really needs to up look into this.

it's worth the hype!
thefoodwas very tasty and authentic to wood fired pizza. loved the flavors. staff was very friendly and were willing to go out of their way to make the experience better.

thefoodquality is pathetic and the owner and the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. quantity is very less and there are insects running in the food.

staff was extremely rude and ill-mannered also quality offoodwas very bad. they treat you like your are eating for free and place isn't too hygienic as well. you go there they will make sure that they spoil ur evening .....

this cafe was an amazing find. go here for the pizzas 🍕 that is their signature food. the wood fire oven pizzas are extremely delicious and one of the best ones i’ve had - we ordered half & half
classic margherita & their special tandoori chicken pizza along with jalapeño veggie tacos.

special mention for deepak - he was very helpful in selecting the rightfoodfrom the menu and ensuring that we have a nice experience.

this place has most amazing continentalfoodto offer in mussoorie. we had soup of the day, loaded nachos and veg pizza, all of the three tasted heavenly. the dishes were very well made and can give any upmarket cafe in delhi a run for its money! must visit while visiting mussoorie

the place has the best continentalfoodin mussoorie i believe.
tried fish and chips- the fish was really crispy and yumm😋 highly recommended.

choco chip pancakes- they were okayish. was expecting more.😋

cold coffee was really good.😁 must try!

porky pork pizza- it was very yumm with thin crust . very crispy and tasty✨

mix sauce spaghetti- it was not much good. it was a bit dry. not much saucy.

chocolate muffin- it was good in taste.🤩

amongst the best of mussoorie

great chocolate shake, absolutely chilled beer and the most awesome 4 cheese pizza i’ve had in a long time.

it’s not filling a pizza with cheese, it’s getting the right mix and the right quantity of each type of cheese.
the best was at yellow cab in manila and here is the boss of india.

the music won’t let you down, foot tapping and music you know.. if your sin is english !! no bhangra here..

where’s the burger ? well here it is... and it’s a hit.

they serve up the lasagne in white sauce with spinach. but i asked them if they could make me the original bolognese. they did and it was great.

extremely courteous and efficient staff always ready to accommodate you.

how would you want to rate such a restaurant ?
well, i give them a full 100%

just one word of caution while you are ordering your food. if you prefer to have a drink before your meal, then do not order yourfoodin advance and don’t even given them an indication of anything. everything will land up on your table before you even know it 😄

they are generally running full all the time.

theirfoodselection is the most unique in mussoorie. loved every bit of my time spent in here.

garlic bread keema pav and mashed potato with chicken breast was our top pick among the dishes we ordered. cold coffee shakes and mojitos we regular drinks which quench your thirst on any hot summer day. overall goodfoodwhich fills up ur stomach.nothing extraordinary about thefoodi must add.
