great place for a snack and lunch or dinner. the ambience was good and food was tasty. the restaurant also had a very nice view of theriverand mountains around. this place has become a cherish able memory of my trip to manali.

been here just once and that too because of theriverview. absolutely loved the view. had a lasagna and rum hot chocolate. liked it. sitting right next to theriverand having the meal had a different essence to it.

one of the must-visit cafe's in manali, if you are here this should be on your list. very good place with good sitting options inside and outside. the place has a niceriverview by side. we enjoyed the pizza and coffee. you will find this place a crowded lot of times.

very hyped and okaish type of place. food was very ok type. we ordered both red and white sauce pasta, and both very average in taste. this place is total hyped just in the name ofriverside.

this place is overhyped. had read so much about it on social media. so thought of giving it a try. to start there was waiting time of almost 1 hour with no arrangement for waiting area or anything. just stand right on the highway and wait for your turn. and then when your turn does come then you ought to pay cover charges of rs. 1000 per person. it was like an okayish place. the only thing good about this place that it had theriverview but for that also they couldn't arrange for the riverside seating arrangement even after repeated requests. the whole experience here was not what we expected. in non veg starters they had a very limited menu options to choose from. there were only 3 items chicken tikka, chicken fillet and fish and chips. that's it. and the cost of these items was not worth it. so this was my experience. you can check out this place yourself. but i have found much better places here in manali.

outdoor seating & view is what took us there in the first place. i must say the view is lovely & you can constantly hear the sound of theriverwhich makes it even more natural & beautiful.
we ordered mushroom & chicken soup & salami bruschetta, both were superb.
this cafe is a must visit for all travellers.

one tip - if you prefer outdoor seating, an extra jacket is a must as it was freezing cold outside & they don’t have any bon fire.

perfect place to spend evening together with friends along withriverside. brezzy winds with lots of cold and good food😌

the place is absolute perfection. we sat outside, by theriverand the view was spectacular. we had their tomato, olive and cheese bruschetta and the chicken burger. i highly recommend both as they were absolutely delicious. we also had the hot chocolate, which was the perfect end to the meal.

located on the manali - leh road approximately 2 kms from old manali bridge going towards leh. the cafe offers delicious continental food, hookahs and also serves alcohol. located by theriverside it has cool view of the snow mountains and also offers rooms.

so, it's a new place in manali. mostly sponsored by 'jameson whiskey' by the looks of it. great view. so go during the day or evening for awesomeriverview. and check for live band timings (mostly in the evening)

one of our favourite cafes to visit in manali, cafe 1947 provides a special experience to its visitors. great ambience and lighting, while the sound of the flowingriverright next to your table is truly amazing! we ordered several food and drinks and were not disappointed by them either. while the pizza and lasagna were good, the affagato, herbal tea and chocolate milkshake were great!

as i was travelling from spiti valley so we thought to take a stop at manali . i found this cafe ,many things were ordered as i went to this place with other 4 amazing souls.
food was good
amazing ambience ..river was flowing just behind the cafe .. they also do have seating arrangements towards theriverview side .

this restaurant is located at riverside in old manali and is one of the most visited place. the place outside to sit is definitely recommended withriverflowing giving it a wonderful view.

the ambience of restaurant is very classy and has also seating available to sit on the floor especially for hookah lovers. talking about food, fish n chips was best. the crisp of the dish is to talk about and it was served with fries and mouth watering sauces. the burger was quite good so as the honey chilli cauliflower. special mention of the sandwich which was delicious.

service was also nice and staff was polite. i would definitely recommend this whenever you get chance to visit manali.

the food was very delicious.   last year i visited cafe 1947 @ old manali  manalsuriverside and enjoyed to the fullest,  now the prop. have another  chain cafe 1947 @ nehrukund manali only 4-5 kms. from manali  too besides beasriverand  i  had
an wonderful experience there with food and environment. the staff is very quick. the food is so good that you'll feel like home there. i will surly go there again and suggest everyone to give it a visit,  proprietors seem to be music lovers......  the live  music  there gives certain vibration and if your vibration coincides with the music you are listening there you might visit the place time and again...... my wish to plan to be here next year also..

i went to manali in may 2019 and been to this restaurant.
this cafe is riverside and offers both indoor and outdoor seatings. this is one of the popular cafe of manali which offers amazing food with limited menu.

ambience- we sat outdoor to get the view ofriverand enjoy the sound of river. the cafe is not so big but its vibrant.

food- the food served is delicious and not too spicy. we ordered lasagne, pizza and other snacks. they were well cooked and served hot.

staff- the staff is very attentive and friendly. the pizza we ordered was not having onions, so asked them to add onions and do some slight modifications and they did it as per our demand.

so recommend you to visit the cafe when you travel manali.
