the view from the outdoor seating area is exceptionally amazing but at the same time the price and delay in customer service is not upto the mark. great place for a date at evening time or to chill with friends. the prices are at the higher end but fine for one time visit.

a perfectly relaxing place and it completely lightens up your stress and whole day’s traveling tiredness. welcoming and friendly staff.
so we ordered :
1. chilly garlic fries
2. margarita pizza (cheese and tomato)
3. hot chocolate (to cope with the chilly weather)

perfect music and ambience!
they provide some board games as well to play and even a small library for book lovers, who would simply like to sit near the riverside tables.
delicious food and worth a visit when in manali!

we visited this place as we had heard of it from many people. the ambience and the location of the cafe is mesmerizing. however, customer service and hospitality can be worked upon more! for food we had veg au gratin lasagna.. the taste of this dish was good but the quantity was very less compared to the price...
you should visit this place for the beautiful view it offers!

this place has the perfect location in the middle of the road going towards solang valley. the decor is cool, food is great but the main attraction is the riverside seating which can be just experienced and not described in words. must visit place and the bodom burger is highly recommended.

great place for a snack and lunch or dinner. the ambience was good and food was tasty. the restaurant also had a very nice view of the river and mountains around. this place has become a cherish able memory of my trip to manali.

we went friday night its was totally empty, they have new outlet so their were no one in this, u ll get only beer in this cafe, food was also not up to the mark..
better vist their new outlet.

a must place to visit when in old manali..the ambience is breathtaking.. riverside sitting with sound of water flowing adds to the food... we ordered recommend trout fish & fries and as promised eating is no choice but taste ..ut was damn tasty with full loaded flavours...

hopeless food... no salt in any food... hopeless hopeless hopeless...my last meal in manali and

loved the location of cafe 1947 in old manali. though i did not have any main course here, we sat for a coffee and some desserts right by the river. the tiramisu was nice although not completely authentic (too much cream on top). it was served with an ice cream which we returned not wanting to waste it. the cafe’s location is its biggest usp i think while the younger crowd may perhaps enjoy the other offerings here like hookah, low-floor seating etc.
the riverside was also marred with trash to some extent. it makes me sad that tourists who come to experience heaven here can be so heartless and not conscious of the fact that they are dirtying their own heaven rendering it hopeless for future visitors.
all in all- a pleasant experience. #manali #keepmanaliclean

been here just once and that too because of the river view. absolutely loved the view. had a lasagna and rum hot chocolate. liked it. sitting right next to the river and having the meal had a different essence to it.

visited cafe 1947 after much debate during our recent trip to manali. the interiors are good and ample seating is available at different spots in the restaurant.

coming to the food we ordered the vegeta burger, signature pizza, hot chocolate and the tomato olive bruschetta. the burger was nice but nothing great, it was bordering bland and flavourful but was slightly more the latter. the pizza was really good, good amounts of cheese and a good crust with sufficient toppings. definitely a must try. the hot chocolate again was nothing special but comforting none the less. the bruschetta was nice, quantity could have been slightly more.

overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, prices are a bit high though. worth a visit if you are in manali and want to have "cafe experience".

such a beautiful place with great view. staff is very prompt and would ensure you are comfortable.

visit time - dec 21
ordered - soup, lasagna and vietnamese spring roll.
all three were delicious and worth the money.

if you are at manali & a pizza lover than you should visit cafe 1947. a must visit place. wonderful ambience with comfortable seating. i have never ever had a pizza like that, delicious & tasty. amazing lake view 🤩

the only reason why you should come here is beautiful views and good pictures. the food was average in taste and quite overpriced to be honest. cold coffee was in fact, quite disappointing. just the view is good, that's it!
