a perfectly relaxing place and it completely lightens up your stress and whole day’s traveling tiredness. welcoming and friendly staff.
so we ordered :
1. chilly garlic fries
2. margaritapizza(cheese and tomato)
3. hot chocolate (to cope with the chilly weather)

perfect music and ambience!
they provide some board games as well to play and even a small library for book lovers, who would simply like to sit near the riverside tables.
delicious food and worth a visit when in manali!

visited cafe 1947 after much debate during our recent trip to manali. the interiors are good and ample seating is available at different spots in the restaurant.

coming to the food we ordered the vegeta burger, signature pizza, hot chocolate and the tomato olive bruschetta. the burger was nice but nothing great, it was bordering bland and flavourful but was slightly more the latter. thepizzawas really good, good amounts of cheese and a good crust with sufficient toppings. definitely a must try. the hot chocolate again was nothing special but comforting none the less. the bruschetta was nice, quantity could have been slightly more.

overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, prices are a bit high though. worth a visit if you are in manali and want to have "cafe experience".

if you are at manali & apizzalover than you should visit cafe 1947. a must visit place. wonderful ambience with comfortable seating. i have never ever had apizzalike that, delicious & tasty. amazing lake view 🤩

go to this place only for ambience and view. food is pathetic. we ordered nachos but i think they gave cornitos and ketchup.pizzawas bad. but as read reviews before coming here so i was nit expecting much from food.

one of the must-visit cafe's in manali, if you are here this should be on your list. very good place with good sitting options inside and outside. the place has a nice river view by side. we enjoyed thepizzaand coffee. you will find this place a crowded lot of times.

over hyped. food was not that great. over priced. less quantity.

you pay only for the ambiance.

one of the classiest places in manali, this place is definitely worth a try, but would recommend visiting in the morning to enjoy the riverside view of the cafe. theirpizzawas amazing and it is the perfect place for a hangout with friends.

this visit to the restaurant has come after a long lockdown wait and covid precautions.

the main reason for choosing cafe 1947 for the weekend was live music and that decision didn't disappoint a bit.

the place is made up of multiple levels, the main inside seating area, the enclosed seating downstairs and open air seating by the river.

the live music was at the main seating area though it was completely packed so we had to be seated in downstairs area till any seats are available.

the precautions for covid-19 were visible at all areas in the restaurant. right at entrance, hand sanitisation with temperature check. inside restaurant, the waiting staff was continuously wearing masks and protective eye gear. the tables were wiped clean with some spray as they were readied for next guests and many units of hand sanitisation available throughout the restaurant. the menu card is digital and one needs to scan a qr code to access menu. i felt the restaurant is taking enough precautions against covid-19 during its operations.

the drinks and food menu is having adequate options and there were offers on selected drinks as well.

while the drinks options were good and service was fast, i didn't like any of the food that was served. the food presentation was good but taste was bland and without any flavour. the food lacked salt for sure and there was hardly any use of any spice to make food flavourful. in nachos were just like an assembly and salsa seemed to be made from ketchup with over use of vinegar.pizzawas bland and tasteless. pasta was the worst of all is my opinion. if i had to visit this place for food only, i would choose an another place over this.

the service was great and every one on waiting staff was attentive and were also stopping people from dancing to stick to social distancing norms.

the singer on live music was very good and i might only revisit for the experience of live singing but not for food.

overall, food i would rate as 2.5; drinks at 4.0 and overall experience at 4.0.

it's a pathetic place with pathetic food. went there with my family for lunch, the service was very poor they didn't provide us with a glass of water. we ordered coffee which was supposed to be from their hot section but wasn't hot at all and didn't taste that great either. we also ordered their chili pepper pizza, which was supposed to be a thing crust, it was thin i'll give it that but didn't have any crust to it at all and also the flour was all over at the bottom of the crust and was also sticking to our hands. we also ordered arrabbiata pasta which was had a tangy tinge to it more than needed and was cold. the waiter also had forgotten that the order belonged to our table and went on to another table for delivering it. as it's navratri going on one of my family members wanted to eat homemade food while all of us ordered and they even declined our request by saying that they are strictly professional the other restaurants might not be, well their service and poor food quality do justify their professionalism. if you guys want to waste your money you all are most welcome to go there. the two stars which i've given to this place is just for their location and ambiance. i don't understand why this restaurant is rated at 4.4. even dominos serves betterpizzaand pasta then this place.

visited day before yesterday after a trek to anjani mahadev for some coffee and snack, better than the one in old manali ambience wise though old manali has its own vibe...
the menu was limited because of covid and online menu was able...
we ordered for 2 signaturepizzaone being slayer (okayish), red hot chilli pepper (must try), cappuccino and oreo frappe (must try)...

good place to hangout and click pictures , great ambience and quite spacious .
service is very fast and you can also make your ownpizzanot literally you can cheese toppings and all.
all good nice place but little on the expensive side , we had 3 things and bill came of 1600 , so if you like quality above quantity than this is your place

this place is located in manali. it is very good cafe which has beautiful ambiance and very nice service.
the staff was too good and we enjoyed the live music 🎶 which was awesome and the lightening was also too good.
we ordered many dishes jalapeños cheese cigar, alfredo penne pasta,pizzaand hot chocolate.
we were with my friends and is nice place for hangout
the presentation of wach dish was awesome and was delicious.
then we had some dance and entertainment.

one of our favourite cafes to visit in manali, cafe 1947 provides a special experience to its visitors. great ambience and lighting, while the sound of the flowing river right next to your table is truly amazing! we ordered several food and drinks and were not disappointed by them either. while thepizzaand lasagna were good, the affagato, herbal tea and chocolate milkshake were great!

i came to this cafe based on many recommendations i had read online regarding thepizzahere and oh boy did they live up to that reputation. we had one of the chef recommended pizzas along with fries. thepizzacrust and the toppings were perfect. even the fries were just the right size and crispy. it was a wonderful dining experience alongside the river
