the view from the outdoor seating area is exceptionally amazing but at the same time the price and delay in customer service is not upto the mark. greatplacefor a date at evening time or to chill with friends. the prices are at the higher end but fine for one time visit.

a perfectly relaxingplaceand it completely lightens up your stress and whole day’s traveling tiredness. welcoming and friendly staff.
so we ordered :
1. chilly garlic fries
2. margarita pizza (cheese and tomato)
3. hot chocolate (to cope with the chilly weather)

perfect music and ambience!
they provide some board games as well to play and even a small library for book lovers, who would simply like to sit near the riverside tables.
delicious food and worth a visit when in manali!

we visited thisplaceas we had heard of it from many people. the ambience and the location of the cafe is mesmerizing. however, customer service and hospitality can be worked upon more! for food we had veg au gratin lasagna.. the taste of this dish was good but the quantity was very less compared to the price...
you should visit thisplacefor the beautiful view it offers!

thisplacehas the perfect location in the middle of the road going towards solang valley. the decor is cool, food is great but the main attraction is the riverside seating which can be just experienced and not described in words. must visitplaceand the bodom burger is highly recommended.

greatplacefor a snack and lunch or dinner. the ambience was good and food was tasty. the restaurant also had a very nice view of the river and mountains around. thisplacehas become a cherish able memory of my trip to manali.

a mustplaceto visit when in old manali..the ambience is breathtaking.. riverside sitting with sound of water flowing adds to the food... we ordered recommend trout fish & fries and as promised eating is no choice but taste ..ut was damn tasty with full loaded flavours...

go to thisplaceonly for ambience and view. food is pathetic. we ordered nachos but i think they gave cornitos and ketchup. pizza was bad. but as read reviews before coming here so i was nit expecting much from food.

well, yes we went in with a lot of expectations (anyone would look at the reviews!) and oy would be fair to say we were quite disappointed. if you are someone who values ambience and location more than the food then thisplacemight be for you. also, location is good only if you are sitting outside by the river- but there are limited tables and we managed to sit there but we were made to move citing rains as a reason. but when we moved in they continued to serve people who came later and sat there 🙄(sigh).
the water i asked never came but the food did. coming to food, very average well below the price range if you have visited other cafes in manali (old manali/ mall road), the presentation is good. the burger, was something you will get in cafe that just assembles it for you ( read store bought patty-"the corner house"on mall road had so much better chicken burger with a juicy patty)the hot choclate was bournvitta, come on ! best things we had was fries. we suffered so that you don't have to, so please avoid and if you absolutely have to come make sure you come when there is live music !

it was a chilly night, me and my friend were looking for a cozyplaceto sit and have a cheesecake at. we were far out from old manali and didn’t want to turn back. i had cafe 1947 on my list, but these desserts! oh man. more than that, the way they were served was pretty amazing. the chocolate cake had a special detail where popcorn was added to give it that salty punch. just like the cheesecake’s sourness was very well balanced with sugar candy on top and vanilla icecream on side. both of them had a cafe 1947 chocolate coin which gave it the final touch. absolutely loved how every element on the serving plate contributed in a distinct way! love, love, love it!

they have great ambience adding to live music which is cherry on the cake.
theplaceon which it sits is huge and they could have fared well with little more lightings. the veg options are limited and is pricy too going by the reputation the cafe has. you can try once to not have a fomo, else you can find much decentplacein old manali as well

we planned to visit thisplacebased on rave reviews from our friends and family, and we were definitely not disappointed. the staff was very hospitable and helped us decide on our food and drink options.

we ordered chilli garlic fries, veg nachos and veg quesadilla. the nachos and quesadilla were very well prepared, and both of them equipped with the most appropriate dips. the taste of caramelized onions in quesadilla was impeccable and something i haven't seen many mexican places experiment with. the food was hot, just how we like our small plates.

strongly recommend thisplacefor its amazing food ambience! 🙂

the owner is the head chef, who is an arrogant self taught cook so you can imagine the kind of food and service thisplacecomes up with. better advice would be to go to mall road and have chai samosa than to waste your time and hard earned money here. good luck!

one of the must-visit cafe's in manali, if you are here this should be on your list. very goodplacewith good sitting options inside and outside. theplacehas a nice river view by side. we enjoyed the pizza and coffee. you will find thisplacea crowded lot of times.

it was absolutely foolish of me to have gone to thisplacedespite reading the recent bad reviews, just because thisplaceis pretty famous. the bad reviews are the reality of this place. management is poor, customer service is as good as zero! you are not accomodated well and the owner does not give a damn to whatever the customers say. would have given zero stars if possible. theplaceis shitty! avoid at all costs.
