great food, great ambience, greatambiencewith sea facing view...this place serves amazing prawn delicacies...malabari biryani is a myst try...

the service is good.ambiencetoo. the buffet spread is not as vast as it’s in some of the other 5 star hotels. the food was tasty though. it’s a cozy place to have some fancy dinner.

theambienceis good. too much light comes in at noon. in the afternoon buffet, the starters are not as good as expected. main course had the number of items to try but none was worth eating. desserts and sweets weren't great but still is ok to try once. service was the only plus point except that they were also taking much time to refill the items that are consumed up.

overall not a place for a person who loves food.

the service was prompt. staff is quite cordial and accommodating. theambienceis exquisite. because we went for dinner we could not enjoy the view. opted for the buffet and found the spread to be small especially for the price. the chicken biriyani was very nice.

theambiencewas really pleasant and the live entertainment was wonderful. all together a great experience. the food was spectacular and a nice range of dishes. loved the experience.

this lively cafe has obviously seen better days. the view of the marina as you have a meal is quite superb and the service is great. however, the generalambienceis not good as age can be seen on everything from the walls to the uphostery. definitely needs a facelift. the food is standard 5 star hotel coffee shop fare with a lot of variety.

me and my family visited taj getaway for their lunch buffet in order to celebrate my husbands birthday 😃 we had ordered a surprise birthday cake for him and given them the name to write on the cake .. theambiencewith the view of marine drive was quiet good ( would be excellent at sunset i guess )

the buffet cost is 1000 rs per person
( including tax) ... the ac was not effective because of the constant sunlight coming through the roof ..

the food was a large spread of keralite dishes , north indian dishes , chaat , pasta , noodles and desserts .. the non veg options were really good and lot of things to choose from ( kadai chicken , chicken biryani , fish curry , natholi fry ) ... veg options were really limited 😩 panner malai tikka was very sweet and apart from that there was only dal fry and kashmiri pulav in north indian options .. veg options i liked were dahi wada, pasta, samosa chat and curd rice ..
there was a large spread of desserts whixh included cheesecakes , panacotta , chocolate brownie, paysam , raisin tart , fruits custard , vanilla icecream .. except the chocolate brownie nothing was good ( all cheesecakes had excess of gelatin and very gooey )

will definitely recommend it for non vegetarians ..

theambiencehas not changed much, it lookd the same for the past 5 year and its charm has been lost. the buffet spread was not great either. i hope they add some changes to the menu.

it's such a shame that the management being a taj property ,just does not care about the quality of food any more.

bubble cafe is amazing. the starters were really nice. there are less choices of food, but the ones available were good. there are many varieties of pastas and the pastas there are well made. choices of desserts are plenty and that was the best part of the meal. service was exceptional and so was the ambience, the scenic marine drive on the sides was a treat to watch specially since we went for lunch and the view was breathtaking, so was internalambienceand decor. the only reason i am not giving a higher rating is because food could have offered more variety specially the starters and main course

the tenderloin medallions dish is why this cafe gets a 4. the bolognese pasta is also nice. the internalambienceis nice.

the bubble cafe is a multi cuisine place at the gateway hotel by taj. a top notch staff with great culinary talents. this is the place you go to for great food and greatambiencewhere you should expect to pay a good amount for that as well.

amazingambiencewith good food. the staff is very welcoming and they also have a live band during the evenings. classy place definitely worth a visit, although would be a little overpriced for a regular dinner.

felt like a regular buffet. no special or variety items as such.ambiencewas nice. location is super cool as it is located at the marine drive. they have normal buffet items and nothing great to comment.

the earstwhile taj,ernakulum,situated by the waterside overlooking the docks has this great 'bubble'restaurant.theambienceis lovely especially when it raining and you can watch it coming down while enjoying your buffet.there is a wide selection of salads,pappadoms,fruit cocktails,soup of the day and of course a selection of kerala vegetarian dishes and the popular mutton/beef/chicken/fish ,selection of seafood as also a few north dishes including dal,the parathas and rotis,pulaos and biryani.a selection of pasta and continental dishes are available for the less adventurous quite a mouthful of goodies in great atmosphere.the selection of sweets runs from pastries,gateaus,pies,icecreams,and payasums. selection of fresh fruit is also available for the people on diet !! overall the food quality is good not excellent butambiencetakes the cake !!good place for a business or family lunch/dinner.
