great place! the sauces are fantastic. highly recommend.

tuesday dinner. how often are you told/asked, "there's a large party of 30 in this dining room. would you prefer the smaller room?"
how often are you told, "we are not charging you for the wine as it is the last glass and we wouldn't be able to give you a refill?"
on top of that, the dinner was superb, and the service excellent.

last table in restaurant. we came to bruno's on mothers day. we were the last table in the restaurant, and everything from the wine to food to our waiter michael was divine. michael did not rush us he chose the wine for us, and bruno came out to talk to us, as we were the last table in the restaurant, our waiter made it clear to us that the restaurant strives on great food and service and bruno's made us customers forever.

not a great experience.   reservations for 7.   finally seated at 7:40.   hostess not very helpful keeping us informed.   need to do a better job of this.

culinary masterpiece. as a frequent bruno patron, i was again delighted by the delicious meal last night. my husband and children took me out for mother's day (since i will be working on sun). we just couldnt decide on what to eat so we just ordered a few meals and placed them on the center of the beautiful-linened table. the halibut was perfectly done, the soft shell crab-(one of my all-time favorite foods) was the best ever!! the grouper was over the top tasty. i couldnt have had a better meal anywhere. the desserts are a whole other gastronomic experience. the creme brulee is the only crreme brulee i will eat. the chocolate and strawberry gelato with a cherry in the middle encased by dark chocolate was decadent. the waiter, damien was very patient with our indecision of ordering our drinks. the bartender, jimmy made an awesome expresso martini. this was by far the best meal and atmosphere i have ever eaten!! we eat out alot and all over the usa , seeking the best foods that part of the country has to offer. i am grateful to live so close to bruno restaurant. i dont know how bruno could top last nights experience. thanks bruno for another perfect meal. your personal care to the meals served is very much appreciated.

thank you for opening up near my home. thank you for giving my taste buds joy. thank you for bringing my family even closer together. thank you for all the wonderful meals (grouper special-yum, gnocchi and blue cheese-addictive, the pasta fagiole-mouth watering, the cajun calamari-omg-the only place i will eat it) thank you jimmy, the best bartender who reccommends great wine to go with your food. thank you bruno for your warmth, gracious hospitality, and eagerness to please a fussy palate. it doesnt get better than this. i am a tough critic and absolutely love this place. we appreciate everything you have done to make this our place. i have met wonderful, friendly people here. i feel fortunate to call this place our favorite place to eat. life at its best!! thank you bruno-love ya!! (and your food)

exceptional!. only word to describe the bruno experience. third dining experience there and service and food was exquisite. clams and grouper were amazing as well as wine and dessert. always intend on getting the delmonico steak, which is fabulous, but find the specials are always a treat. no restaurant in the area even comes close to the dining experience at brunos. thank you! thank you!

wow! wake forest has landed one of the best restaurants in the triangle. food was spectacular and service exceptional! bruno knew what works right from the beginning with this establishment. prices are moderate and food is amazing. try getting a delmonico steak anywhere else. #1 in this area, no doubt!

not worth it!! really. had a delmonico steak that was extremely boring with fried onions on top that were soggy. poor presentation on all meals. just was not worth the money. they were out of my first two choices of wine. kind of boring decor as well. would not recommend. nor will we be back. tried it twice....that's going to be it.

wonderful birthday dinner!. my husband and i decided to try a new place that we had never eaten at before for my birthday in february. we chose bruno. we were not disappointed! we enjoyed it so much i have decided to surprise my husband for his birthday this saturday for another wonderful dinner. we so enjoyed the food, wine and service. i would recommend the seafood alfredo and any steak. no complaints. can't wait to visit again!!

our go-to special occasion restaurant near wake forest. our family has had several birthday and anniversary dinners here and the service & food is consistently outstanding. we have had entrees such as delmonico steak, chicken parm., grilled salmon, lamb chops and apps. calamari, crab cakes, iceberg wedge.

not the experience we were looking for.. july 5, 2014. reservation for 7 at 6 pm for double birthday celebration. meals came out at different times. five minutes between the 1st served and last. had to ask for things several times. napkins taken by server and not replaced. birthday desserts served with candles while one was in the restroom. when asked how everything was when we were leaving i conveyed this to the hostess only to be interrupted with an excuse, " well, it is a holiday weekend and we are short staffed." my reply, " you didn't reduce your prices because you are short staffed."
we will not be going back!

worsening. went to bruno's last week and it was horrible. the food was mediocre and poorly made. the wine we wanted and usually order wasn't available and was offered a more expensive one? the waitstaff reeked of cigarette smoke. hoping to secure something positive of the evening went to the bar side and that was a nightmare. jimmy did nothing but yell and bark out orders. jason reeked of smoke and ran around like he was on speed. limited bar items and nothing worth drinking. left in disgust and will never return. go to the tavern or mcdonalds, they know how to serve better. dante's is the best in the area. same format as brunos with better food, a real bar, and great hard working employees.

rude wait staff, totally disrespectful. the food is not good enough to deal with rude bartenders named jimmy.

so disappointed after reading many of the reviews. the grilled caesar salad had no grill marks or grilled taste and the dressing tasted like mayonnaise; no garlic, anchovy, parmesan cheese taste plus the croutons were a bit soggy. the ny strip steak as not medium rare. the mushrooms, green beans and potatoes were tasteless. would not recommend this restaurant.

great food!. bruno is a wonderful restaurant with an attractive fine dining experience. i have dined at bruno several times and each time i have had nothing but positive things to say about the food and service. each and every time i have eaten at bruno, the food has been out of this world! also, the restaurant and its bathrooms are always very clean. it truly is the place to go for great seafood. bruno is perfect for celebrating a special occasion or for a nice place to go on a date.
