another cool little cafe in bondi that only offers brekky fri sat sun (we were surprised on wednesday). looks small but seats quite a few indoors and outdoors. we were really happy with the food, tasty eggs and well cooked crispy bacon. the pancakes were a big hit, fruit compote from frozen fruit? (these fruits are still in season) not so great. coffee was a bit zingy, not the style i like but well made. lovely sourdough toast and tasty scrambled eggs, lovely texture. fairly safe and predictable menu. 1 friendly waitress, 1 a bit snippy.

not sure if we were in luck, but we did not have to wait for a table of 5 on a sunny sat avo. staffs were friendly and service was quick. and the food, absolutely love it! we love all the dishes and each was packed with flavours. i have to point out the moroccan eggs, especially, as it is usually tend to be a very bland and ordinary dish. but this was a pleasure every mouthful! probably the best baked eggs in sydney? my new favourite cafe. definitely will be back for more!

heard very good reports about this cafe from lots of people, and being a massive foodie i was naturally very keen to check it out.. but i was very disappointed! service was pretty ordinary and very slow, and when the food came out i was disappointed but my mates looked a lot better still very small considering the price but was nice , and the pot of tea i ordered was a rip off barely got a cup and a half out of it.. hopefully if i come back it will have improved.

came here on a saturday morning and had a relaxed and enjoyable meal. i got the english muffins with tomato, egg and bacon. the portions were a tad small, but what it lacked in size it made up for in taste!

i cannot fault this place. the staff were so friendly and attentive. but the food was the shining star. we started with one of the specials which was a grilled fig salad, the flavours were an explosion. i had the barramundi, chick pea and black rice dish for main along with a beetroot and goats cheese salad as a side and it was probably one of the tastiest dishes i've had. and to top it off we didn't order dessert but they gave us a taster of their brownie on the house. boom!

we waited more than an hour for a table for 5. and 30 mins wait for the food, but it's all worth it. staff are very friendly and food is delicious. my favourite was the chicken burger. yum! will recommend this place to others. :)

came to this place on a sunny weekend in november for lunch, during sculptures by the sea. we were lucky to be seated right away as the place was very busy. i ordered the moroccan eggs, while my partner ordered the chicken burger with extra cheese and bacon. the food did take a while to come out, probably due to the fact that they had a full house. but when it did come out, it looked fantastic. 

my moroccan eggs were still sizzling away in the pan with the slow cooked spiced capsicum and tomato, the flavour of which was the highlight of the whole dish. so tangy and delicious. my partner's meal looked incredible, the chicken crispy-skinned like it was straight out of the southern states of the usa, oozing with delicious mayo, and the potatoes looking perfectly brown and crispy. i had a bite and was the most delicious chicken burger i have ever tasted (i know what i'll be getting next time i go there!)

to top it all off, as we went to pay the bill, they gave us a free piece of brownie each - how nice is that! which was also yummy and chocolatey. can't wait to go back sometime!

definitely my favourite restaurant in bondi, maybe even in sydney!! fine food, so full of flavours, unexpected mix of savours, service above expectations. i could never try the deserts because the main portions were too big... but they still offer you a slice of brownie at the end... what a nice touch!

saturday brunch /lunch at brown sugar was a real treat. we had the lemongrass tuna and avocado and a black stone breakfast. the food came out in relatively good time, and the staff we really friendly even though they were quite busy. we asked to move tables, to the corner so we could both sit on the cushioned seats.
so what they say about a crowd attracting a crowd. it is true for this cafe! it serves wholesome unpretentious food and is full of flavour! it's a must try and bookmark kind place.

i ordered the black stone eggs. i enjoyed them and the side of hash browns were quite good. i've never had hash browns in that style before. friendly quick service and quirky ambiance. i don't think it's a particularly impressive brunch joint, but i have no complaints.

food in this joint was really good, the brunch stuff was off the hook. i would've given 4.5 except i decided to drop it to four after the food took 45mins. i then decided to drop it to 3.5 after the cheque took 15 minutes (and counting). bring a book. a long one, like tolstoy or something

ordered the chicken burger. wanted to eat healthy so i ask them if it's grilled chicken. they told me its fried chicken but then they said it's ok to change to grilled which makes me very happy. also added extra bacon and cheese. the bacon is crispy and just so good. the burger itself is also satisfying. the weather was gloomy but the burger delighted me day. good one.

i've been here for breakfast a few times and it's always great. one of the best breakfast joints in bondi. good produce, decent portions, fairly priced. 
looking forward to coming and trying their lunch and dinner options.
