such an amazing place, the food is always great (the burgers,wingsand shakes) and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, we always get service with a smile. i always come back and i'll definitely recommend them!

bonelesswingswere very good however the burgers were raw and extremely stringy almost like either they have been overworked in the mincer or they are using poor cuts of meat with plenty sinue inside. pity ........

the staff were too busy watching the soccer inside to bother about the customers sitting outside. burger andwingsarrived before the drinks. 2 waffles took more than an hour. please check your cameras as this happened this evening. excuses from the waiters were pathetic.

great burgers and really good selection sauces for their wings, use to go here all the time however the store has recently become halal and no longer serves beer, so if you want a beer and burger (with bacon) orwingsand a beer (how else would you have them) unfortunately this is not the place to go anymore, real shame as their own branded craft beer was actually quite good and matched perfectly with their burgers and wings. but still great food now just better suited to the under 18s.

one of our favorite friday night spots. relaxed vibe with good burgers and great service. i love the boneless chickenwingsand my boyfriend is a huge fan of the mac and cheese.

decadent milkshakes and scrumptious waffles that are truly soul satisfying. the chicken burgers are great especially the cheeseanator, you can choose to have your fries in different portion sizes but the small portion is quite generous. we also tried the boneless chickenwingsbut they were a bit tough and stringy so a little bit of a let down. overall a good place to have a delicious and satisfying meal.

and i finally made it to my first brooklyn brothers..  having eaten at and been to brooklyn in nyc several times over the past ten years, the name caught my attention a few months back but life happened. 

this modern american diner, specialising in buffalo style chicken wings, burgers and craft beers popped up on my radar again though recently, whilst trying to source the best sticky chickenwingsin johannesburg and was recommended to me by several foodies as having just that! 
why? my partner's favourite meal is sticky chicken wings! and off i went in search of the best chickenwingsin johannesburg learning just how bad some chickenwingsactually are at restaurants around south africa. 

the bb interiors have a distinct brick face look about them, almost a rough and rugged, no frills look.

brooklyn brothers pride themselves on their wings, which come in portions of 4 - 100 (yes 100). thesewingsare crispy fried and handspun, then served in a variety of 20 different flavours:
buffalo honey 
honey teriyaki
tikka
bourbon bbq
peanut satay
jazzed hoisin
garlic parmesan
honey mustard
lemon, herb & garlic
sticky maple, 
smokey bbq
lime, coriander & ginger
sour cream & chives
salt & vinegar
cajun

then there are the hot sauces:
suicidal
screaming
scorching
sizzling
smiling

wings: 5/5.
service: 3/5.
ambiance: 3/5.

 *recommendation: if you are looking for a no-frills joint to service your stickywingscraving, (so far) this is best one that i have discovered in johannesburg and i can assure you that they have a sauce to suite every taste!

had a quick lunch here today. service is really fantastic. the staff are super friendly and attentive. burgers are nice, but a little oily to be honest. definitely better than roco mammas. cheesy bacon fries were pretty damn good. also had a bourbon smash cocktail, was enjoyable and refreshing. will be back to try thewingscause they looked really good.

my cousin and i went to try their kraft milkshakes and i was a bit disappointed. i guess my expectations were a bit too high with regards to that but nevertheless, the chickenwingsare great and i look forward to going back. the staff is friendly and welcoming

no regret, great experience.
rocomama kinda thing but unfortunately, i didn't get the chance to eat their burgers since i had a lot a lot lately.
only hadwingsand ribs and they're so yummy.

compared to roccomama's ... horrible! cheese burger had no taste... zilch! cajunwingswere coated in a cheap ass southern fry kind of something! and the zucchini fries were more oil soaked zucchini mulch! .... so just don't! i know i won't again!

the burgers are juicy and delicious. the zucchini straws are awesome, as i don't eat veggies i would gladly give up my meat these zucchini straws.
the cocktails are a little overpriced for the size. will be back to try thewingsand ribs.

firstly i'd like to thank the owner of this little restaurant for inviting us back to retry their menu that changed just because of an intital bad review! the first time we visited brooklyn brothers we were very disappointed and my review was absolutely terrible. the management read the review and got straight back into contact with me and invited my brother, mother and i back to retry their menu that had been changed based on my initial bad review.

the food we were served up was fantastic and absolutely abolished the memories of the bad food we had at the first time. the nachos and chickenwingsi initially was so heartbroken about had now evolved into something more delicious and spectacular than i could have ever imagined and i devoured it in minutes flat! we had milkshakes and hot chocolates which were like a gift from the gods and the only bad thing i could say about it is that you finish them! eventually there is an end... they are so scrumptious you don't want an end to them!

this place's customer service really impressed me and so too did their food. so much so that i could not help but to change my review in a heartbeat. this place has really great food and i'd recommend it to anyone who's in the mood for some good food. i decided to keep aspects of my initial review as there were positives as seen in the following paragraphs.

let's start off with the place's staff. we walked in at 8:30 and were greetes by a troop of smiling and pleasant staff. they didn't even tell us they were closing at 9; we had plans to sit and watch the game tonight and only upon asking the waiters what time they close they let us know but said they would be willing to wait until we leave before they close completely. we were warned that they would start cleaning at 9 though at that point. our waiter was so friendly and for someone as indecisive as my brother and i; he was so helpful in helping me decide what to eat and being patient with my brother who ordered - cancelled - ordered again and cancelled and then couldn't decide what he wanted... and this was all over a milkshake. the barista offered some interesting conversation and the coffee he served up was fantastic! my mom had some sort of vanilla rum which was extraordinary. their waffles are fantastic and so too are the desserts.

brooklyn brothers serve buffalowingsthat i can compare to how i remember buffalowingsin california, definately the bestwingsin the area.

thewingsare a must have if you are a wing lover. i have visited brooklyn brothers on many occasions and i have yet to be disappointed.

the service was very great and the waiters serve with a smile.
