incredible every time. great food, service with a smile, the coney island burger rocks and the shakes are awesome. keep coming back! theplacethat's never let me down.

this little hidden gem is in bedfordview center, the food is tasteful and bursting with so much flavor. thisplaceis definitely theplaceto go when you want something different and vibey.

great burgers and really good selection sauces for their wings, use to go here all the time however the store has recently become halal and no longer serves beer, so if you want a beer and burger (with bacon) or wings and a beer (how else would you have them) unfortunately this is not theplaceto go anymore, real shame as their own branded craft beer was actually quite good and matched perfectly with their burgers and wings. but still great food now just better suited to the under 18s.

absolutely disappointing went to grab a bite just before closing at brooklyn brothers bedfordview , despite a decent service the kitchen managed to disappoint together with the manager on shift. a shift manager should of been around to check the order is correct. order a vegetarian burger with extras of mushroom and guacamole only to be disappointed at home with nothing but a patty with a bit of tomato and lettuce and bland flavour. thank goodness i ordered the extras ( neverless to say those extras were not around to add to flavour ) aplacethat was once aplaceof choice i will rather go to a more reliable fast food joint than wait for quality food that simply doesn’t deliver. funny how they remember the extras they didn’t charge for but remembered the two additional beers. won’t be recommending them any time soon.

decadent milkshakes and scrumptious waffles that are truly soul satisfying. the chicken burgers are great especially the cheeseanator, you can choose to have your fries in different portion sizes but the small portion is quite generous. we also tried the boneless chicken wings but they were a bit tough and stringy so a little bit of a let down. overall a goodplaceto have a delicious and satisfying meal.

have had recommendations for thisplaceand decided to go through for a casual lunch and try it out . service was good and waiters were friendly . we had the "brooklyn brothers " burger and the "the boss " burger with a large fries to share . burgers were reasonably priced and i liked the selected extra toppings that were "on the house". burgers were big and filling , however both were quite flavorless and lacked that sensation of wanting more . the "brooklyn brothers" burger was average and "the boss" burger was more like a mid-level employee . overall the experience was mediocre and i would prefer another local burger franchise as my personal preference.

amazing place... foods good all around, drinks are on point, service is outstanding.... if you are a fan of rocca mamas you will love thisplaceover all better experience but rocca still has you on the burger.... enjoy the beer selection and novelty drinks aswell

update:

went back to bb bedfordview for lunch. a complete 180 experience. we had a really good meal and the bacon and cheese fries was a winner this time. i will definitely be back for those. the staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. this branch of brooklyn brothers has upped their game!

the service was not great. theplacewas not busy however after being seated we were ignored and had to get up to locate the waiter, who was quite dismissive towards us. despite placing a small order he forgot our chips . this did not make for a good first experience but the thing that will never make me go back is the fact that i found plastic in my bacon and cheese fries! not sure how thisplaceremains open.

firstly i'd like to thank the owner of this little restaurant for inviting us back to retry their menu that changed just because of an intital bad review! the first time we visited brooklyn brothers we were very disappointed and my review was absolutely terrible. the management read the review and got straight back into contact with me and invited my brother, mother and i back to retry their menu that had been changed based on my initial bad review.

the food we were served up was fantastic and absolutely abolished the memories of the bad food we had at the first time. the nachos and chicken wings i initially was so heartbroken about had now evolved into something more delicious and spectacular than i could have ever imagined and i devoured it in minutes flat! we had milkshakes and hot chocolates which were like a gift from the gods and the only bad thing i could say about it is that you finish them! eventually there is an end... they are so scrumptious you don't want an end to them!

this place's customer service really impressed me and so too did their food. so much so that i could not help but to change my review in a heartbeat. thisplacehas really great food and i'd recommend it to anyone who's in the mood for some good food. i decided to keep aspects of my initial review as there were positives as seen in the following paragraphs.

let's start off with the place's staff. we walked in at 8:30 and were greetes by a troop of smiling and pleasant staff. they didn't even tell us they were closing at 9; we had plans to sit and watch the game tonight and only upon asking the waiters what time they close they let us know but said they would be willing to wait until we leave before they close completely. we were warned that they would start cleaning at 9 though at that point. our waiter was so friendly and for someone as indecisive as my brother and i; he was so helpful in helping me decide what to eat and being patient with my brother who ordered - cancelled - ordered again and cancelled and then couldn't decide what he wanted... and this was all over a milkshake. the barista offered some interesting conversation and the coffee he served up was fantastic! my mom had some sort of vanilla rum which was extraordinary. their waffles are fantastic and so too are the desserts.

enjoyed a great burger, fries and onion rings. really good value for money. prompt efficient service. looks like theplacefor warm summer evenings. the night we visited it was a raining evening, but was nice and cosy indoors.

this is aplaceyou definately want to try. we arrived around lunch time and were greeted with smiles by the manager. we didn't have to wait to be seated. the decor is lovely. i like that style. the menus are paper style so you tick what you want. i ordered the pork ribs, hot wings, onion rings and jalapeño poppers.
the ribs were really good and moist and the flavour i chose was hot enough to satisfy my heart craving. the wings were just as good. the flavour i chose was hot enough and the size of the wings weren't small. the jalapeño poppers are a must have. the onion rings were good but a tad bit oily. overall experience was pleasant.

i've been here twice.
first time on a date and the second with a friend.

the service on both occasions was horrible, multiple servers serving you.. some with this condescending attitude we really did not appreciate.

the burgers were average, i've had better. but the wings were good. tasty, saucy and succulent .
i think thisplaceis overpriced, but that's just my opinion.

the gourmet burger market in south africa has exploded with world class burger joints opening up all around the country. brooklyn brothers is one of the gourmet burger restaurant chains that are leading the pack with their take on some classic american style cuisine. their menu is filled with amazing food but make sure you order yourself a gourmet milkshake because there aren't many restaurants in south africa that can rival a brooklyn brothers milkshake. 

the interior is also classy while still being relaxed. brooklyn brothers is definitely a greatplacefor a night out with your friends to grab a great burger and have a couple of drinks.

what a novel concept, making us fill in our own order sheets. i see what you did there with the cost saving !!! back to the food, the wings were lovely, generous portions, tasty and fresh. staff were friendly and knowledgeable, which is always a plus. goodplaceto grab an afternoon lunch at friends and family. nice vibe, good food, friendly staff and prices you can live with. definitely on my return to list.
