best burgers, awesome service and great waffles.

must try the cheesefriesand cheese burger. the buns are deliciously soft and the burger feels light to eat.

for kids try the mac and cheese which is so good too.

for dessert the classic waffle is perfect and the best end to the delicious meal!

decadent milkshakes and scrumptious waffles that are truly soul satisfying. the chicken burgers are great especially the cheeseanator, you can choose to have yourfriesin different portion sizes but the small portion is quite generous. we also tried the boneless chicken wings but they were a bit tough and stringy so a little bit of a let down. overall a good place to have a delicious and satisfying meal.

had a quick lunch here today. service is really fantastic. the staff are super friendly and attentive. burgers are nice, but a little oily to be honest. definitely better than roco mammas. cheesy baconfrieswere pretty damn good. also had a bourbon smash cocktail, was enjoyable and refreshing. will be back to try the wings cause they looked really good.

compared to roccomama's ... horrible! cheese burger had no taste... zilch! cajun wings were coated in a cheap ass southern fry kind of something! and the zucchinifrieswere more oil soaked zucchini mulch! .... so just don't! i know i won't again!

have had recommendations for this place and decided to go through for a casual lunch and try it out . service was good and waiters were friendly . we had the "brooklyn brothers " burger and the "the boss " burger with a largefriesto share . burgers were reasonably priced and i liked the selected extra toppings that were "on the house". burgers were big and filling , however both were quite flavorless and lacked that sensation of wanting more . the "brooklyn brothers" burger was average and "the boss" burger was more like a mid-level employee . overall the experience was mediocre and i would prefer another local burger franchise as my personal preference.

i decided to try brooklyn brothers today after hearing rave reviews about it. i got a take away of their single cheeseburger (beef) and regular fries.
the service was great and i received a friendly reception.
when i opened the stapled bag to eat my meal, thefrieswere piping hot and delicious. unfortunately, i discovered they had cooked my burger 'medium'. i always eat beef 'medium-well' to 'well-done', and had i known this was the way they do burgers here, i would have requested it to be made to my preference.
i decided to try it anyway, but after a few bites, i could not go on. i just could not stomach the rare meat.
i wish when they take your order they would ask you how you want your burger done.
i will know the next time to say 'well done' or 'medium well' at least.
the flavour of the burger from the bites i had was good, and the bun was so soft, and fresh.

when i used to eat meat i thoroughly enjoyed the food here. the loadedfrieswere amazing as was the chilli burger i had and the key lime pie milkshake was incredible! can't go wrong for a good burger even if it does work out a bit pricey for 'junk food'.

best food and the best service! always friendly waiters and the dirtyfriesare my go to, even as a meal! their milkshakes are the best i've ever tasted! which is something, as i don't usually like ice-cream based milkshakes. i highly recommend brooklyn brothers for a great food experience.

update:

went back to bb bedfordview for lunch. a complete 180 experience. we had a really good meal and the bacon and cheesefrieswas a winner this time. i will definitely be back for those. the staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. this branch of brooklyn brothers has upped their game!

the service was not great. the place was not busy however after being seated we were ignored and had to get up to locate the waiter, who was quite dismissive towards us. despite placing a small order he forgot our chips . this did not make for a good first experience but the thing that will never make me go back is the fact that i found plastic in my bacon and cheese fries! not sure how this place remains open.

enjoyed a great burger,friesand onion rings. really good value for money. prompt efficient service. looks like the place for warm summer evenings. the night we visited it was a raining evening, but was nice and cosy indoors.

stopped here with my future father in law for a late lunch. good to see the selection of craft beer available, i had the cream ale which i had previously and it reminds me of ice cream. the loadedfriesare huge and a meal on their own. the burger i found yummy and juicy.

brooklyn brothers is a great burger bar in the same vein as rocomama's. you have a menu you write your name on and choose your food. they also do wings, ribs, and burgers. and they have speciality shakes.

i tried the peanut butter and caramel shake (very sweet, but tasty) and my partner had the apple pie shake which was also good - real pieces of apple!

we shared some hot wings to start - at the lowest heat (smiling). they were spicy but delicious, and large! i thought there was too much hot sauce on the wings, but the accompanying blue cheese sauce was great. my standard is a bacon cheeseburger, which i reckon really lets you rate a place. i added mayo and pickles to mine, wary of an over-greasy burger. my partner had the same, with tomato relish and pickles. both burgers were good, with a more "fresh" mouthfeel than rocomamas. theirfriesare also more "real", if that makes sense. they were great, even if we couldn't finish them.

i like the way they present their burgers, but i couldn't really taste the bacon (though i could see it and feel the texture).

although i appreciate attentive staff, we were asked if everything is ok so often that it began to feel as though we should leave. i'm putting that down to new store jitters, and look forward to my next visit!

went here for a quick lunch on the weekend and really enjoyed it. we had burgers andfries- both really good and the gourmet milkshakes are fantastic! service is excellent. keep it up!

this is our local spot and go there weekly. food excellent, best burgers in joburg, awesomefriesand wings and the milkshakes are next level. keep up the great work guys!!
