tonight was my first time eating at broken stone i came in with my husband and kids. they where busy,we almost left, but the waitress caught us and told us that the food is worth the wait. she vowed on it. so we decided to give it a try. she was the only waitress she was very sweet even though she had a full restaurant to run, she smiled the whole time, she looked like she really loved her job especially when it comes to the food she pretty much picked out our food, the pizza rolls where amazing the kids loved them, she broke the whole menu down and told us what mix perfect together she had the food science. i think we could ask her anything and she would know the answer. i think her name was nicole, if you go there definitely have her as a waitress, she was fast friendly and made you feel like she really cares for you and your family which is hard find. at one point of the night my husband told her to breath she was running everywhere poor thing was busy her answer was amazing she looked at us and says she can't with a smile she said i have all my guest to make happy and share this amazing food with, i breath later for now its about you. i felt like a person for the first time eating at a restaurant and not some money bag. anyway long story short food is amazing and theservicewas fantastic, i highly recommended broken stone best food in boerne maybe even san antonio.

not so impressed. i had been there once before and it seemed pretty promising. the last time i went made me realize i don't need to go back. theservicewas not great at all. my tea was never re-filled, the original waitress never came back to check on us, another young guy delivered the pizza to the table, i got my 9 year old son to ask for a to-go box. so, i paid and did not leave a tip since the waitress wasn't interested in really serving us. i wasn't all that impressed with the pizza either.

broken stone has amazing food that is always freshly made! theserviceis good and friendly and the prices, for the food you get, are reasonable. highly recommended!

delicious!. my husband and i were passing through and used urbanspoon to decide on a location for supper. we choose the broken stone pizza co because it was rated #1 in boerne at the time. i do have to say that when we first pulled up and parked we almost left and went somewhere else. the shopping center the restaurant is located in is not appealing. they really should relocate to their own facility. however, the food andservicewere both out of this world! we shared the 'one that broke the stone' pizza and a spaghetti and meatballs. the pizza was indescribable. best pizza i've ever put in my mouth. the pasta was very good as well. my husband and i love to travel through boerne on our way to san antonio so this will definately be a normal stop for us.

i am not a pizza lover. i eat it once in a while and don't care for it. but, this pizza is delicious i would eat again without a doubt. it is light, thin crispy crust, grreat flavor, the sauce is delicious and goodservicetoo.

waste of time. my boyfriend has lived in boerne all his life and suggested we try broken stone in celebration of buying our first house together.
theservicewas atrocious. the man leaning against the wall with his arms crossed angrily over his chest was very, very unhappy to receive our business, even long before we placed an order. with a neanderthalic grace they constructed our pizza, which turned out severely burned, lopsided, with what little toppings we paid for hanging loosely off the side.
i've never been to a business so unhappy to provide for its customers.

my first trip to broken stone did not disappoint. i had the lunch special (2 slices and a drink). the pizza was not greasy and had a nice balance of toppings. the pie was extremely tasty and theservicewas great. i highly recommend broken stone.

broken stone has awesome pizza!! it's some of the best i have ever had. especially in the boerne area. the owners are great!serviceis good! the pizza does cost alittle bit more money but it's well worth it for the pizza. they just came our with a new menu and i tried a piece of one of the sandwiches. it was awesome!!

awesome. had lunch at broken stone pizza co. 2 slices with drink. one of the best pizzas i've had, not just around boerne or san antonio, but it rates with the best pizza places around the country. the crust is remarkable. thin and very light. the owner told me that they hired a baker from kansas city to develop the crust. i don't know what they had to pay this baker, but it was worth every penny!servicewas great too!

nothing special. brokenstone pizza is overpriced and the atmosphere is not inviting. the pizza, along with the salad and breadsticks, are nothing special. theserviceis so-so and the owners are just plain creepy, who would want to bring their family to a place like that? the bottom line: save your money and take your family somewhere else. i'll never go back to brokenstone.
