tonight was my first time eating at broken stone i came in with my husband and kids. they where busy,we almost left, but the waitress caught us and told us that the food is worth the wait. she vowed on it. so we decided to give it a try. she was the only waitress she was very sweet even though she had a full restaurant to run, she smiled the whole time, she looked like she really loved her job especially when it comes to the food she pretty much picked out our food, thepizzarolls where amazing the kids loved them, she broke the whole menu down and told us what mix perfect together she had the food science. i think we could ask her anything and she would know the answer. i think her name was nicole, if you go there definitely have her as a waitress, she was fast friendly and made you feel like she really cares for you and your family which is hard find. at one point of the night my husband told her to breath she was running everywhere poor thing was busy her answer was amazing she looked at us and says she can't with a smile she said i have all my guest to make happy and share this amazing food with, i breath later for now its about you. i felt like a person for the first time eating at a restaurant and not some money bag. anyway long story short food is amazing and the service was fantastic, i highly recommended broken stone best food in boerne maybe even san antonio.

bestpizzai've ever eaten!. if you're looking for bargain basement, cookie cutter, corporate pizza.....get on down the road. these guys offer unparalleled quality, fresh ingredients (plenty of them too), and a thin crust that will make you wish you had made the drive to see them sooner. when asking one of the owners to suggest something different, i took him up on the idea of a "white" pizza. it's thin crust, made with alfredo rather than traditional tomato based sauce, with cheese, artichoke hearts, fresh spinach, and grilled chicken. i never should have.....but i managed to eat the entire thing! real deal folks. look no further.this is it. worth the drive from san antonio or anywhere.

not so impressed. i had been there once before and it seemed pretty promising. the last time i went made me realize i don't need to go back. the service was not great at all. my tea was never re-filled, the original waitress never came back to check on us, another young guy delivered thepizzato the table, i got my 9 year old son to ask for a to-go box. so, i paid and did not leave a tip since the waitress wasn't interested in really serving us. i wasn't all that impressed with thepizzaeither.

liked the pizza; not a rave. we came here with a small group and had the pizza. this is a great place to bring kids and eat pizza, which is what they intend. that is the atmosphere.

as for thepizzaitself, it is definitely better than the standard chain pizza, but it is far from an artisan pie. very good, but not particularly memorable. if we are in boerne and need to feed a bunch of kids pizza, this is where we'll come.

amazing, authentic italian food. great wait staff, very friendly people and excellent service. thepizzarolls are my favorite but everything is great and all homemade. definitely give it a try:)

delicious!. my husband and i were passing through and used urbanspoon to decide on a location for supper. we choose the broken stonepizzaco because it was rated #1 in boerne at the time. i do have to say that when we first pulled up and parked we almost left and went somewhere else. the shopping center the restaurant is located in is not appealing. they really should relocate to their own facility. however, the food and service were both out of this world! we shared the 'one that broke the stone'pizzaand a spaghetti and meatballs. thepizzawas indescribable. bestpizzai've ever put in my mouth. the pasta was very good as well. my husband and i love to travel through boerne on our way to san antonio so this will definately be a normal stop for us.

a fine pizza!. this place is the real deal, imo. i ordered to go. the salad was very good and thepizzawas just superb! there is lots ofpizzaplaces, but many of them have just ho-hum pizza. thepizzaat this restaurant is whatpizzashould be, and often isn't!

disappointed again. thepizzacrust was acceptable and the young man who delivered thepizzawas very polite and efficient. we paid over thirty dollars, excluding a generous tip, for several toppings that were sparse at best. the pepperoni was the size of a barbie frisbee. i specifically mentioned that i could not have garlic and the wholepizzaseemed to be dusted with a heavy hand of garlic powder. i felt unwell the whole day after this meal. the chunky caprese salad went down the garbage disposal. the cheese had a mealy texture and the tomatoes tasted like january. the basil was barely detectable and the balsamic dressing could have been used for hummingbird nectar. i dined at broken stonepizzawhen it first opened and i was underwhelmed, but i wanted to give them another shot. my bad!

i am not apizzalover. i eat it once in a while and don't care for it. but, thispizzais delicious i would eat again without a doubt. it is light, thin crispy crust, grreat flavor, the sauce is delicious and good service too.
two thumbs up!!!
